Beat facial I've ever had! So relaxing and the facial massages felt amazing. I will never go to anyone besides Ainslee!!

Parking in on street, I don't believe you have to pay though. Staff is super nice and welcoming, gave us the run down, provided us with a sandals and a robe. The robe are pretty size inclusive, I only had a little gap, and I'm a 3x. You get a locker and they even have a bathing suit dryer when you're done (pictured) That said, it's a smaller space than the Newport location inside, where the actual pools/saunas are. However, you can still get in and out of the pools with ease because of the railings. There is maybe enough space for two in the plunge pool. Staff came through with some cool eucalyptus towelettes and there is free flavored or non flavored water to drink. The cons for me would be the parking, and the over booking, people were struggling to find places for their robes and cups. Otherwise, this is a great experience for your body and peace of mind, would recommend.

My husband and I checked in and was greeted by a friendly staff member who told us our locker number. Then, another staff member told us what we would find in our locker and about the water journey. The locker room was very clean and spacious. I put on my robe on top of my bathing suit and sandals and headed to the water journey space with my reusable water cup. The water journey space includes: 98° Bodhi Glow Mineral Pool, 104° Bodhi Restore Mineral Pool, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge, full spectrum infrared sauna, traditional finnish dry sauna, and a relaxation area. The Water Journey is 2 hours and 30 minutes and we spent pretty much the full time in the space. There were probably 14 people total in the space at the same time, but it didn't feel crowded. Also, everyone honored the whisper policy and no one was obnoxiously loud. At one point, the staff came around with cold towels. As our time was almost up, we headed to each of our locker rooms and took a shower. The shower had body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also a bathing suit spinner that dries the water out of the swim suit. The water journey was definitely worth $85.00. I had such a relaxing time and can't wait till next time. Reservations do fill up, so I definitely recommend making your reservation sooner than later.

I'm hoping that my relationship with Skin Essentials will be a fruitful one! It started off as…read moresuch! After purchasing a recent Groupon for laser hair removal treatments, I went for my first appointment this afternoon. As a newbie to this method, I was a bit nervous and curious about what to expect. I opted to get my underarms done and was assured by the receptionist (and technician!) that it will be completely worth it in the end. Apparently I'll want to wear tank tops all the time once I'm done! The interior of this business is well decorated, comforting, and exudes the quality of a spa. While I waited for my appointment, I sat on a plush red couch, surrounded by the smell of scented candles, and drawn to the Keurig coffees and teas available. My appointment was actually later in the day than I had originally made it for. I was called the day before and informed that a piece needed to be replaced on the laser machine and that they needed to reschedule with me. After much apologizing, I received an appointment later in the day and was told I'd be called in the morning to inform me of the progress of their fix. I received my call today and drove on over. For having had to reschedule, my wait was very quick. She brought me in the treatment room, explained the whole process, gave me a chance to ask any questions I had, and was very attuned to my needs during the entire procedure. I have to say. . . hair follicles certainly do not go out without a fight! I can't say that the procedure was comfortable, but the staff do their best to decrease your discomfort. I was given stress balls to squeeze (which at first reminded me of the "here bite on this so I can chop off your leg" type medicine of the distant past) and had a blast of cold air on my skin during the procedure to take the edge off. The technician did a good job talking to me throughout which also helped distract me from the needle-like pain of the laser. Had I needed her to stop at any time, she was more than willing to do so to give me a break. The actual procedure took less than 15 minutes and I was truly in and out of the office. I was given post care instructions and encouraged to call if I had any further questions or concerns. While I'm not looking forward to the procedure again, I'm definitely looking forward to the results. I'll have to update a long time from now when all six sessions are complete to review the results!

This place is a good example of "too big for your britches." They use a special kind of laser -…read morethey say its top of the line, etc, etc - but it seems to be less effective for hair removal than the typical candela that shoots you in the face. This one requires gel to be applied to you - which is nice and cool - but very messy. Also, they require you to bring in your own anti-inflammation gel and clean your face before arriving - they don't have any themselves. Usually, spas will give you some witch hazel to clean the area and hydrocortisone afterwards. This place recommends both, but doesn't supply them. Donna, the owner, is superficially very nice but not great with customer service. When I asked her about the equipment used, she told me to ask the woman who would be doing the service. When I asked the woman doing the service, she told me to ask Donna. Hm...
