Well what a HUGE disappoint !!!! Went for my first visit to salon and I was so looking forward to it., I bought a deal on Groupon. Appointment booked for 4pm, I arrived and when got to salon the door was open so I patiently waited thinking the lady would be here soon. I called and sent message to say I was here as I could hear people talking and no response. 15 minutes later I knocked on the salon next door and asked did they know where the woman could be, the looked and had no clue either. Now it's 4:38pm still no sign of woman. So I piped into salon again next door and said can you please tell the lady I was here on time and I was waited 40 minutes. I get in the car and get a message to say I was a no show WTF !!!! (Mind you I had 2 txt messages to confirm my appointment) With that I turned the car around and went back. The door was now shut so I knocked, surprise she answered the now closed door. No apology for standing me UP, I said I'd like a refund she said she didn't do that......... what BS is that !!! Edited story Groupon refunding me, I was there and on time, would not recommend this salon at all, extremely unprofessional on all levels. Bad news travels quicker than good And in response to her reply I was there at 3.59pm I said it took a bit to get off property cause of the wet, and I was implying maybe a couple of minutes late. I had knocked on the salon next door and the lovely hairdresser even checked and looked around. I waited almost 40 minutes. So outward lies. And this was my first poor review ! I have used plenty of other providers and this was my first unprofessional One I felt other should be aware off, I contacted groupon upon leaving salon and they were happy to refund me I sent them copies of messages of me saying I was arriving that showed the salon owners cell that clearly showed the time and the and pics of me waiting, so nIce try !!! I have only done two other reviews on yelp as can be seen if you look under my name and both were 5 stars. It doesn't take 40 minutes to take supplies out of a car, I had called your number twice and sent a message 4 minutes after initially first waiting for you. This, unfortunately, is a mixed bag for me. Jo seems like a really nice person, but there are some things that really didn't give me a good experience. First, I showed up on time and the door was locked. No msg from her on my phone, so knocked, called, used the Ring at her door. Nothing for a while and then about 5 min later we got in touch. She was about 10 minutes late plus the 10-15 minutes it took her to unpack and set up and get herself ready while I was sitting in the waiting room. I get it, stuff happens... but it could have been handled differently. It took until we headed into the treatment room for her to offer to make up for that and she said she'd comp a service add-on that was worth about $30. I felt that was fair since we got started a full half hour later than we should have. Later when I checked out, she didn't honor that and instead took I think it was $15 off. So that was weird and not entirely honest. As for the treatment, she is very calming and sweet but I didn't feel like anything changed with my skin or face at all. It was nice and oiled up, sort of hydrated with product but no lift at all, none of the improvements that were supposed to happen. A lot of feathers stroking the face and things like that, but not fascia work like I though it would be and what service I asked for. She did do fascia work on the face but it was so light it didn't improve much of anything. So, it wasn't bad but the money spent wasn't worth it given how I felt afterward, and the lack of any of the benefits described in the services menu. read more
