Reply to the owner comment: "I think you're missing the point. I couldn't care less whether you take the job or not--that's completely your choice. My issue is with the lack of communication and respect for the customer's time. It shouldn't take almost two weeks to let someone know you can't do the job. A simple timely response from the beginning would have been appreciated and would have avoided wasting my time."

We had built block walls around our yard but the coyote was able to easily hop over and almost carried our little guy away. Thankfully our pup was ok after an incredibly expensive stay and literal brain surgery at urgent care. While dealing with the stress of not knowing if our dog would recover and with the unexpected cost, we knew we needed to get more protection up asap and I reached out to 4-5 fence companies to help. Everyone was wonderful but Mike stood out. He was sympathetic, knowledgeable, and managed to get us slotted in on the schedule. He met with me at least three times before we finalized the quote to make sure he knew exactly what we needed. Jason and Jobel were our installers and they worked hard to get the project done. They were also perfectionists which my neurotic heart appreciated - the two of them literally went over every inch of the install at the end and swapped out any slats that didn't pass their quality check. They even redid a tricky corner four times to make sure I was satisfied. Mike came by every day to check on everything and discuss all steps with me. We had some issues with the gates and the locks/handles I had already purchased and Mike had his welder fabricate custom pieces to make sure the gates worked and looked nice. He takes pride in his work and his entire team follows his lead. Our project was not cheap but I've learned in the past two years of renovation and building that you get what you pay for - and the feeling of security and relief I have when outside is absolutely worth it.

He understood my requirements in minutes, and made the specified cuts with incredible precision. Because these parts were for a custom car, Thomas leveraged his strong background in machining and fabrication to provide technical advice throughout the process which improved the solution. It was a pleasure working with someone who took pride in their work, seeking perfection, and really caring that the outcome met my needs. Thomas made the job (including the timing) important to him because it was important to me. When I called, I asked if they could expedite my job because I suffered a setback from another machine shop. Thomas said bring the parts down and if the work was not too complex, he would do it while I waited. I hung up the phone with him at 5:30 PM and drove from the South Bay to Long Beach. I was back with my parts done, home eating dinner by 8:30 PM, three hours total, and paid exactly what I was quoted on the phone. I search for my nearest machine shop thinking they're professionals they should be able to get the job done. I showed & told them I needed the gears removed if they were capable of doing it to which they responded yes, then quoted me $130. I show up to pick my part up to see it completely damaged & unusable. Never got asked if it was okay to scratch the part up or anything of the sort so I had no choice but to take the part back like that after being charged. They showed no remorse for ruining the part & said they'll only charge me half what they quoted me. I WAS CHARGED FOR MY PART BEING RUINED. Highly suggest looking elsewhere for small projects like mine if you have valuable parts you want worked on professionally.
