I don't know who owns/runs this place but they need to go back to school. This place is a joke! We sat down at the bar when there were only a few people at the bar and were totally ignored for over 15 minutes while watching others come in and sit down and get served. They made excuses that there were only 2 of them and the one was her first day and was put out there with no training on a Saturday on Star Wars Night! The line of customers waiting at the bar to order a drink were TOTALLY ignored. At that time several other bartenders had come on duty and THEY ALL ignored those people waiting to order a drink....so much so that the whole line gave up and left. We didn't dare order any food. This place is the definition of chaos and disorganization! Ok......side note....as I'm ripping them writing this review.... We had ordered another beer and the bartender comped our second round. The drinks and food were way over priced. My husband and I each wanted a beer. Cost serving yourself at the bar was $38.00 with tip. Once seated at the table we had a chicken sandwich which was okay and it was around $21. Our server was very good but she was responsible for way too many tables. It took 2 hours to eat there before the baseball game. On game days, hire more servers. Way overpriced on drinks. read more

This is really a great bar at a great location inside the ballpark. Lots of great fans. Indoors is ok, but amazing with a reservation out in right field! The food is fantastic, along with the drinks. The food was mediocre. There are only a couple items on the menu and it's like chicken fingers, a chicken sandwich, and a burger. Super basic and pretty pricy. I spent 65.00 on two orders of chicken fingers, a chicken sandwich and two sodas. Seemed a bit outrageous. Threw me off because I assumed it was going to be a Mexican style cantina. So, at the game on 18 May 2025. Iasked the Abolut Vodka kiosk (sec 113-114 I believe) bartender if he had Non Alcoholic tea. He Recommended the Estrella Jalisco Cantina. Kudos to him ( I didn't think to ask his name). At the bar, Tolin, Ashton and Laurie were very kind and helpful allowing my Niece and her daughter to use Mango juice as a substitute for sugar. Our Host, Robert Edwards was also very kind and very knowledgeable with direct answers to my questions. Mary our server was funny and very much at home with herself which leant a bit of familiarity to the experience. The food was reasonably priced for a ball game these days and flavor was on point. The view from our patio table was awesome. I usually don't sit visitor side but I will visit the Estrella Jalisco Cantina again. Thanks to all who served us regardless of position. Approximately 30 people in the whole place. Ordered a 19 dollar burger which is priced high, but I get it you are at a MLB game What I don't get is why the burger and fries were pre cooked. Weird being at a Baseball game and being served a hockey puck pre-cooked burger. Ok so if you are ok with warming tray pre-cooked burger does that also mean you do NOT expect at least one napkin with your meal. If it was a sellout crowd I would expect service and food quality to go down, but not when staff to customer ratio is so low. The plus side is the view is pretty dang nice. 45 dollars for a beer and burger (tip included) is expected but lousy quality is not. read more

0 stars! Was there 3/28/25. It was bad from the time we sat down. Waited 10min for someone to check on us to find out waitress to get a drink order. We asked about the size of the flights..she didn't know, she doesn't drink..didn't bother to walk to the bar that was right behind her to ask. We ordered Dr Pepper's and Pepsi. We'll, no Dr pepper( coke product) but she failed to tell us until she came back another 5 min later. Then we asked how many chicken tenders in the "shareable". 3 ok, who shares 3? Idk. So we ordered 1 basket of the chicken tenders and fries and asked for a side each of bbq sauce and ranch. Also ordered the sheet pan nachos with carnitas. Took quite awhile to get the food. Didn't seem crazy busy either... They bring out 2 orders of chicken tent..nope, only ordered 1. Then the nachos...fiasco city...missing carnitas AND ice cold..sent it back..came out again .carnitas on top, STILL ICE COLD! Then a manager came by and asked what was wrong I advised the nachos were ice cold He said...well the chips won't be hot... I asked him to have them remake them fresh AND hot. Came back a few min later... shocker..still cold. I wasn't going to eat that, but my hubs was starving so he just ate them anyways.... waitress never came back after that. Never checked on us, but the time someone did, it was last call for food and their kitchen was already shut down..I never ate...then another manager comes over. I explain everything to him.. he's appalled and said he'd take care of everything and wanted to know what I'd like for him to do. I asked our entire meal be comped. He said no problem..by this time, I had to leave to get something to eat before my blood sugar crashed. I came back and he handed me a receipt. He discounted 25% but the double charge of the chicken tenders was still there..I said...ummm..this is NOT what we agreed on....You said you'd comp the entire meal.this means $0! He said he discounted it 25%...I advised him discounting and comped are 2 entirely different things. He said he understood and made a call to see if someone would override that..I highly doubt he called anyone. I asked about the removal of the 2nd chicken tenders he said..nothing he can do....going to dispute charges with my bank once the transaction clears. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!! read more

The wait service was good at first but then it got very slow. They said the delay was due to someone being escorted out of the building. The next excuse was that they were having computer issues with the ordering system. Most of the food was good. The chicken strips and pretzels were great. But the Nachos were terrible. The cheese was actually congealed and cold. It came on a plate instead of a platter and was stacked which meant all the sauce and guacamole was on the top and none was on any chips below the first peak. We didn't eat the nachos so they were removed from the bill. You're required to give them a credit card upon ordering. Getting the nachos charge removed from the bill took 20 minutes. Because of the delay, we missed the Chinese heritage show that was on the field below the restaurant. We're still happy enough with most of the food so that we'll go back. But now we know that we need to go earlier and what food to avoid when ordering. It's a fun place to eat before a game and the staff is very friendly. read more

So let's begin with the positives of Estrella Jalisco Cantina. The obvious advantage of this restaurant is that it has a great view of the field. Another positive aspect is anyone at the stadium can eat here, even though it is at club level. Our server was kind and the manager checked in on us, which was nice. Now, we will proceed into why this establishment is getting a 2 star from me. Perhaps I should have checked the menu before coming here, but with a huge sign across the stadium calling it a "cantina" and a Spanish name meaning "Jalisco Star", I was fully expecting to enjoy Mexican cuisine and drinks. As I scanned the menu, I noticed there were only a few options that I would consider 'Southwestern', while the rest was American. My fiancé and I split the nachos and the margarita flight. The margarita flight is indeed a spread of flavors, but the tequila was severely lacking. I would call it a margarita mix flight. The nachos were drenched in lukewarm queso and topped sparingly with Taco Bell-quality ingredients. Salsa was provided on the side and was surprisingly good. For the main course, I got the carne asada tacos- hopeful for a better experience. The corn tortillas were either not heated up, or stale, or both. The meat inside was essentially ground beef- a far cry from traditional carne asada. My fiancé got the hamburger and was disappointed when he was brought a premade patty with the incorrect toppings. He agreed the food was not good- especially at a $25 minimum/person, which essentially requires you to order an entree and an appetizer or drinks, far exceeding $25. I wanted to like this place because it's fun to watch the game from the balcony, but I won't even be returning for the bar- the drinks were weak. At the end of it, I was having regrets for not getting the classic artificial ballpark nachos instead. If you're looking for tasty food, try any of the other fun offering around the stadium's perimeter, because this place is a culinary letdown. read more

If you want to be seated and forgotten then this is the place for you... we were seated and sat waiting for someone to notice or acknowledge us for about 10 minutes- water was brought then and we waited for another 20+ minutes for our waitress to come- we placed our drink and food order at the same time and also paid the bill which is weirdly required at that point. Sat waiting for another 15 minutes before we got our drinks- then sat waiting and waiting and waiting some more for our food. An hour of waiting and watching other dinners come in, eat and leave and we are still waiting. Finally found our waitress and asked- she said she'd check and disappeared again. After another 15-20 minutes I walked to the front and asked if they could check our order (we had to give our last name when we ordered) about 20 minutes later our order was brought out- thrown together burgers with nothing but a piece of cheese and all the fixings we asked not to have & missing any kind of mayo mustard aioli sauce (which all was included on the menu)- by this point we just asked for our money back- minus the tea and single beer we drank. That took another 10 minutes to have taken care of... Sadly this was a highly recommended place and has a wonderful location but something is missing in the process. We are easy going understanding people- we understand places get busy but as a former server I can say I have never forgotten a guest or their order. Pretty cool spot to eat during a game. Well even pop in and eat and catch a few innings before a concert sometimes. You get 90 minutes with your reservation. The seating and service can be a little slow on busy nights but always have had a good time. read more

Service needs major improvement. Place was not busy at all. We could have been seated much earlier than our reserved time. Once seated, we waited 15 minutes more and no one came to our table. Seating is great to watch the game and the fries are great. Thats about it. Service is absolutely not service at all. They sat us a dirty table right next to a clean one. We asked if we could just have the clean table and the host just laughed and sat us at the dirty table anyway. It took 30 minutes for drinks and any time we ordered another round it would take another 15. I got the chicken sandwich which was more breading than chicken...it was $17 for essentially all of the toppings and the bun. We won't be coming back again until they inevitably change it again. You're better off in the stands and enjoying the concessions haha! read more

You can't beat the view of this place. We made a reservation and everything was seamless getting us in and seated. Go early if you don't have reservations to get a good spot. They have outside seating on deck overlooking right field and it's at club level. They also have indoor seating with big windows to see the game and bar seating as well. It's open to anyone who has a game ticket. This was our second time and our server Jeremy was super kind and our food and beer came out fast. Of course it's not 5 star dining experience but typical bar food with a decent beer list. What you are really there for is the view. We just buy the cheapest seats and then come here - for busy/popular games there is a $25 minimum (not hard to reach) and 90 minute max at your table. read more

While I love the staff here, management have made some "interesting" decisions about how they want to do things and I am not sure that I like those decisions. That said, it is a great place to grab a bite to eat while watching the game and the food has always been good. We will see how they do things next season, hopefully they can see fit to update their run rules to be a little bit less restrictive. read more
