Came here during a holiday weekend. Since I had to get a tow truck for my car since it wasn't starting. But they were able to get me in that same day. I got in around 12-1pm. They called me around 3ish and let me know they finally got to my car and found out the issue. And they door dashed the part that was needed for the car. They did mention if they can't finish I won't be able to get the car back until Monday. Since that day was a Sunday. I've been coming back every time when I have an issue to them. Highly recommend them if you are around the area. Good price and good work. They do get busy so make sure to block out some time. read more

i went to get a diagnosis on my engine light with intention of fixing my car here. I was in a slight rush as my inspection was coming up that month. the first time i visit i drop my car off at 9am, wait around for 1.5h, then i call Will for a follow-up. He said he's getting to it soon. He then calls me back in 10 mins saying that there's no way to diagnose my car today since he has to reset my error codes first. He says come back in a week to get it checked. I'm back in a week and this time he calls me with the diagnosis: he says I need a thermostat and purge valve replacement, costing me $445. Considering this is a big chunk of money, I ask for the break down to understand what I'm paying for. He says the thermostat is $180 and purge valve is around $50, remaining is labor. I do a quick search on the spot and realize I can get the parts online significantly cheaper, so I ask him if i could bring my own parts instead. He says it'll be the same price and refuses to elaborate on the issue and fix. When i pick up my car i ask if i can double check the part name with him and he says "i'm not doing that this is just too much" while waving me away. i understand that it's frustrating he couldn't earn extra money off me from selling parts, but i've brought my own parts to previous mechanics before and didn't realize this was an issue. I bring the car in to my family mechanic a couple days later (it's a far trek which is why I tried ET instead) and they replaced my purge valve within 10 minutes (i brought my own part). Said nothing else wrong with the engine and passed my inspection. Costed me $30 for labor. Can't help to feel scammed and disrespected by Will. read more

I've been dealing with a jerking issue with my car for a while and went to another shop that kept me going back and forth without solving anything. When my battered and stolen BMW was recovered, they repaired the car back to OEM condition, fixing body and trim damage and replacing steering, suspension components, and restoring all four wheels. Not one detail was left untouched. Will really is as honest as they come and their prices are super-reasonable. I really like how all of their auto services are under one roof and am glad I don't have to make multiple trips elsewhere, even if I'm in need of the occasional car wash or minor polish (although you should prioritize coming to them with your mechanical and body needs; the wash and polishing is an added bonus). I almost do not want to write this review to share because ET auto group is a secret gem of all car maintenance shops. It is located in an industrial area 10 minutes walk from downtown Flushing. You need to call to make an appointment to go in because they service many cars in their garage at once. They close when they are on lunch break between 12-1:30pm. Andy did a great job coordinating to fix my car with zero issues when another car shop could not fix the same problem twice. Their prices are reasonable and they get the job done within a day. I've been a customer of ET auto for 10 years and I always trust Will for his good work. But this time he really disappointed me. I got into a car accident in January 2022, and I towed my car to ET auto with no hesitation. Will worked with my insurance company and got the estimate of $12,000. He said my car would be repaired within 3 weeks. But instead of ordering parts from USA based stores, he ordered cheap parts from China and it took 5 months to ship to USA! I waited for 5 months and he kept telling me the parts are out of stock in USA, which I later found was a total lie. He just wanted to buy low priced parts from China and he doesn't care about delaying my car repair. I have no car for 5 months! When the parts finally arrived, he still kept delaying the repair because he was too busy. He kept telling me will do the job next week but every time I go there, my poor car was still parked on the street outside his shop, which caused me three parking tickets. After being delayed for 6 months, I have to change to another auto body shop. While the other body shop got all parts within a week, they found out the transmission was burned out because ET auto left my car outside in rain and snow with hood open for 6 months, which caused me another $8000 for transmission replacement! I don't know whether my insurance company will cover that repair, if not, I have to bring ET auto to court for the negligence. I don't know why ET auto do that terrible thing to me. I had such a great experience with ET Auto and Will that it motivated me to finally write up a review. In some respects, I am apprehensive of posting, as I am afraid there will be an influx of business that would keep my turn times long. At the same time, I want them to flourish, as I do want them to continuously service my vehicles. They are communicative, punctual and knowledgeable. They are hard working and if any surprises arise, they are quick to address the issues. I'd go on to list specifics and more qualities but if you were to review my review, you'd probably say "lazy". I choose this repairing shop because of the high rating.But I think they over charged me. I have 2003 acura rsx, they charge me $830+tax for 4 brake rotors+4 brake pads+front left caliper+rear right caliper. I just checked those pieces on website. I could get all of pieces for less than $400! Because they did not use fancy rotor. For those regular rotors, it is around $40/each. I just do not understand why the labor is so expensive. My car situation is so bad, so i have to drop my car there．I just felt very unhappy about the price. If I am wrong please correct me. read more

Careful of the incompetence! The diagnosis of brake noise this one mechanic gave was claimed to be from "rust build-up while the van was idle." While driving the van the brake noise got worse! In the end, going to a dealership shop revealed that the brakes were actually broken! $1,400 broken to be exact! Yuck! read more

Professional, honest, and hard working people here. Came here for a car appraisal after an accident. Went to another shop in Astoria afterwards to get a second opinion, which was a bad idea since they broke one of my front lights, bringing up my estimate up by a couple hundred bucks. I came back here, and Will noticed the broken light. He offered to replace the light for free, since he knew it wasn't my doing. His estimate was also significantly less than the other place, so I saved a lot. He finished the repair in 2 days, which was sooner than what he had initially told me. He also offered to stay as late as necessary to in order for me to pick up my car, which I thought was super nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle free car repair experience. Pretty sure if I brought a corpse here Tommy would be able to bring it back from the dead. I probably should have sent my old '97 Nissan Altima out to pasture earlier than I did, but thanks to Tommy and his boys, they kept it running. To give you an idea of the state of the car, the last two months I had it I stopped by the shop 6 separate times to fix different issues. Essentially any work which could be done on my car was done here. Everything was well priced and the work was good. No complaints on my end.
