Just moved into the area of Astoria, Queens and I DID NOT have anything to wash my clothing with!! And I have work AND I decided to hang out with a friend to catch up... so that left me NO TIME to get what I need in order to wash my clothings...I mean I do have clothing but I need my work pants lol. So I decided to come by ET laundry since it said it's open 24 hours...although when I got there at 10pm...I was confused as the doors were locked but the workers were there. They pointed at the sign that said last wash was at 10pm...so I thought I was screwed!!! But one of the worker came from the back/other door and told me I can come in. I told them I would like to drop off my clothings (and I prayed it wouldn't be expensive). I was told to put my bag on the scale, to weight it. I was also asked if it was my first time with them (which it was) and told me to write my name. SO! with the weighting and all, it came out to 16 dollars! I was told it'll be ready the next day and I asked specifically what time, and was informed after 5pm would be best. Which is totally fine with me as I ended up picking up my stuff on the Monday ... hahaha. When I picked it up, they have folded all my laundry in my laundry bag and it was so compacted compared to when I first brought it in (where I just threw in my dirty clothes). I mentioned it was $16 but I saw somewhere that you should tip and I gladly did as it was only $16 for my load (it's not a huge one maybe two weeks worth, so it wasn't heavy, nor did I have jeans in the bag or anything). I am so happy with the service, that honestly...I'm not in a rush to buy detergent and do my own laundry...though I will...eventually...when I am all settled in my new place. This one worker i feel like has it out for me and i don't know why. One time I went in and I go to the back on the right side opposite of where they usually use. She came and said u can't use these machines she gonna use it after I started putting my clothes in. Then next time as I'm using the cart to put my clothes in she comes and says I need the cart for customers. I asked if I'm not a customer? I'm putting my clothes in the washer she said she needs it now. Then I go to use a dryer and she goes in front me and takes the dryer and throws 1 item in it. Just now as I'm walking out with my clothes in the cart she blocks the aisle right at the end and opens dryer and puts a cart and walks away so I have go around and stares at me from the counter. My three star review is mostly for the dry cleaning services here. I dropped four tops off to be dry cleaned and was told they would be ready on a certain day. I came on the day I was told and was informed that my clothes wouldn't be ready until 3 days later. They apparently send the clothes out to another location for the dry cleaning. I understand mistakes happen but this seems like an unprofessional situation and I was pretty disappointed. The dry cleaning prices are very low so I guess you get what you to for? I still go here to do my laundry and have had no problems with that. Tons of machines, all fairly New and definitely clean. The prices are the best in this area. I'll continue coming here for laundry services just not dry cleaning. read more

I've been coming here for years and I have never had any issues. Today I went to pick up my laundry at 438pm. When i walked in the woman was sitting with I assume her daughter ? When i went to the counter she got up and then told me it wasn't ready, which was fine. I asked what time it would be done she said 11pm I asked what happened ? And the woman said I didn't specify it only says afternoon and the girl the day before should have wrote a time. Well 11pm isn't afternoon, and her daughter also wanted to let me know "she said she was busy." The woman went total silent and just stared, very creepily, so I took my dirty clothes and left since you so busy & all of the sudden lost the ability to use your words you don't need to be kept overtime for my stuff. I went to use their drop off laundry service and they tried upping the weight on my clothes to nearly twice the amount. Naturally, it was two and a half times what I usually pay for. I know this happened because I went to my usual guy first and he weighed my clothing. He was busy and couldn't get my clothes ready. I told the woman behind the counter at ET and naturally, she played it off. I left and went to another Laundromatt service and their weight of my clothing was closer to my original service.
