I love "ET Plumbing!!!!!" I never thought in a million years I would be writing about plumbers but these guys were so great I couldn't resist. Earlier today while cleaning our basement, I noticed a significant amount of calcified gunk and a small pool of water on top of our water heater. After a few minutes of watching my husband doing self-diagnostics (reality: he picked at it a little while then shrugged), I started calling plumbers. I found ET Plumbing through a Google search after calls to a half a dozen numbers I found here on Yelp. Eric, the owner of the company, answered the phone himself and listened patiently to my rather inept description of our problem and informed me that he'd have to call me back in 5-10 minutes to let me know if someone was available to come out today. He actually called back... In 5 minutes, no less! Anyone with a fair amount of experience dealing with business owners in the building trades should recognize what a miracle this seemed to be. Eric informed me that his guy Fabian would be out to my house within an hour. Yeah, you heard me, within an hour. As for the actual work, Fabian was clearly highly skilled and knows the trade very well. The job was completed quickly and professionally, and Fabian cleaned up not only any mess he had made, but also scrubbed off the previously mentioned calcified gunk before leaving. The price was more than fair and I literally had zero complaints about the situation. Eric could not do the job, so this review is on Eric's professionalism. We had an owner cut-off valve that needed replacement ASAP. After being referred to him by Brad B Burson Plumbing (because he was booked), we left a message on Eric's cel and he responded after about an hour and apologized for being fully booked and unable to do the job that day. Eric listened when I explained the situation, he asked a couple of questions, and then gave me his highest-lowest estimate based upon my description of the problem. Because he couldn't do the job that day, Eric offered a 10 % discount for the entire job when I needed work to be performed in the future. It turned out the only plumbing svc available we could find charged $1,200 to do the job...that was 4 times the estimate given by Eric and another local plumbing svc that was also booked. Based on the reviews and his customer oriented attitude, Eric will definitely be the first guy to call if anything else goes wrong. read more

Great service I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a plumber. I sent an email after hours to see about getting a new gas valve for my dryer installed. I sent a picture of the one I had on the email to hopefully help with the process. I was emailed back later that night and told that I would get a call the next morning (Thursday) to schedule an appointment. I received a call at 9:40 AM. We talked briefly and he gave me a window of 1 to 3 PM on Friday. He told me he would call me with a half hour head warning before they would get there. He called me at 1:52 PM and told me they were far enough away that it would take them about an hour to get there. They were spot on with the time. Came into the house fully professional and had my valve switched out super fast. He then offered to finish hooking up my dryer since everything went so fast. They had everything done within half an hour. read more

I'm such a happy camper to have had Eric to call upon. He was referred by a family member, and I'm so pleased. My home had a gas odor and I was afraid the problem would turn out to be a costly and time-consuming project, even perhaps involving permits from City of Austin. But alas! Eric saved the day, changed a valve quickly and ably, and my home is once again, safe and good-to-go. It's wonderful and very reassuring to know someone who can handle gas issues expertly. I was having water heater problems and the first plumber I called, who is highly reviewed on yelp, did not have time to take the job. Luckily he referred me to Eric at ET Plumbing. Eric came out the next morning and handled the job for me. Not only did he fix the problems, he explained to me what they were, what caused them and how to check for them myself in the future. He also fixed them without charging me for anything but the diagnosis fee. He was very personable and I felt like I was talking to someone I had known for ten years. I have used other plumbing services in the past and they have always fixed the problem, but Eric took the time to explain in detail what he was doing and why. The other guys never did that. This is a very, very good company! They came out in an emergency and fixed some awful redneck plumbing which had been done in my rental house. They were obviously much in demand the week that I called them, and now I understand why. They are polite courteous, and really, really know their stuff. A couple of days later, they came out again to fix a blockage in the kitchen sink drain, and their prices were extremely reasonable. I can recommend Eric and his team to anyone who is looking for a good plumber especially if you have some really bad old redneck plumbing which is giving you problems. Eric Tracey was referred to me by Gilbert Jimenez (from Blue Dragon Plumbing) and he was phenomenal! I was having some sort of mystery leak occurring in my restroom and the wall showed some water damage. Eric came in and ran thorough tests to figure out the issue. He also helped fixed our toilet and shower head! He's such a sweet guy and he doesn't take any shortcuts to fix the issue! Not to mention his rate is very affordable!! Very professional service for a slab leak I had. They rerouted the line with the best material out there pex. Would use them for any plumbing problems. Eric and crew are very down to earth guys and speak to you in not to technical terms so you understand what's going on throughout the process. If you don't use them for your plumbing needs and go somewhere else you are a fool. The other companies where way overpriced for what was needed and wanted to do extra things not needed to resolve my problem which was extra money I couldn't afford. This is the second time I have used ET Plumbing and had the worst experience ever. Eric was unprofessional and his passive aggressive behavior was beyond understanding. He could not comprehend that the work that was done for my daughter (which she paid) and the work he did for me were two separate jobs, two separate customers. He conditioned the replacement of a defective part of my daughter's job on receipt of payment from me. Again, two separate jobs and he would not honor his warranty. Called ET PLUMBING this morning,had no hot water. Have three kids,called several ''BIG'' companies in the phone book,got some HUGE prices over the phone. Eric came out very quickly,advised me the water heater was still under warranty,went to get warranty parts to fix the heater,and had it fixed shortly after he returned. ET Plumbing saved my sanity. It was almost 3 months into a remodel that had slowly, but steadily gone south. I'd had to fire my general contractor, but needed some plumbing work done to pass the final inspection. Eric was willing to re-arrange his schedule and come out to help. ET saved me. My rental house had a leak form in a pipe that was just inside the slab. Eric's team made it out to the house a few hours after calling and capped the pipe. Later he ran a new line on the outside of the house. The work was clean and at a fair price. All the work was done very well. I called Eric the first time when I lived in Round Rock and he came out that morning and was very professional and knowlegable on his stuff. He explains everything so you know what happened and what he has to do to fix it. I now live in Pflugerville and he came out on a Sunday to hook up my kitchen sink and garbage disposal which is pretty rare for plumbers and did it for a hell of a price.
