As a first time client Ellie was a great! I have always wanted to get a lash lift and tint and she did not disappoint. She was so considerate and kind during the whole process. She took her time to get all my baby lashes and recommend the proper curl for my eye shape. It was an amazing first experience and I look forward to being a regular customer with her! I was surprised to find out Eli also uses a face razor (which is given to customers to keep and bring back to future appointments) but this was the most even and snatched my eyebrows have been done in a while. So glad I didn't read the other review prior to getting my brows done here! I have had my eyebrows done at various places throughout my life, but never could find one that I fully trust. They all seemed very average. I found this lady extremely knowledgeable and professional. she's not trying to mass produce and rush to get the job done, she actually wants to help you get your brows done perfectly and help you have it regrow back to the perfect shape. I also found her very courteous and pleasant to talk to. My husband likes to joke that he would never want me as a customer because I am hard to please lol so if I speak highly of any sort of service provided it's probably very legit She gives you a stamp card and you get one free eyebrow session after I think every 10 sessions. read more

Had my 2nd visit at ETB Beauty last week. Elli is awesome. Her space is clean and very inviting. She talks you through her process and takes care and time the whole way through. I have gone to many threading salons and never received the kind of service that Elli provides. She takes the time to draw out the shape and shows me what she is going to do before starting. I thought threading was the only way to go for my eyebrows but Elli suggested that using a brow razor and tweezing was the best way to go for me. I am very happy with the results thus far. I came for a simple eyebrow threading and she took the time to discuss my shape with me, draw it out and help me fix my shape. No one ever does this, they usually just thread my eyebrows and they end up making them thinner than I would like to try to make both even. I've been coming to Elham for the past few months for threading after my prior regular salon closed, and I am so so happy to have found her! She is extremely professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. The first time I went in, she put the time in to discuss my eyebrows with me and make a long term plan to get them into shape. Nobody has ever done that for me and I've been to quite a few different salons over the years. And this effort wasn't just for show either - I've been coming back regularly and can see her plan working. Long review here but Ellie has truly been a game changer for my eyebrows. Before finding Ellie I've tried other places but always walked out unhappy because they always made my eyebrows very thin. For years I stopped going to salons for eyebrows and just cleaned them up myself at home. They slowly started going out of shape and one day I was walking around downtown Walnut Creek that I saw Ellie's sign. I told myself let me give this a shot again. As Ellie was closing, she kindly squeezed me in last minute. Ellie cared to listen to every detail explaining the shape I wanted and she was very informative about what looks best on my face. I am not really your "typical" threading/waxing client. My eyebrows haven't been altered in years, and I (sometimes) shave my legs. But I had a really important event coming up, and I went in for some threading (eyebrows, etc.) and ended up also getting my legs waxed. I do not believe that I have ever experienced a cosmetician (is that the right name) as hard-working, careful, and thorough as Elli. Hi advise anyone who's reading this review do not get any services done by this lady. She's very rude and aggressive . I was in the area and wanted to get my brows threaded ,so i decided to give this place a try it was such a horrible experience the lady wanted me to get my eyebrows microbladed and I told her I am not interested I specifically told just want my brows threaded And cleaned.She was so pushy. Like wtf if I wanted my brows tattooed i would go somewhere reputable especially if it's going to be on my face where people can see it's so visible. After I told her I usually fill in my own eye brows once I do my makeup I don't wear makeup everyday so I do not need heavy dark eyebrows I just like mine natural .she got really upset with me and started tugging on my eyelids and skin it was so painful and when i told her to be gentle with my eye area because it's delicate she did not listen she kept digging the tweezers into my skin and ignoring me . I Left with razed bumps and bloody skin. Please do not come here for any services your skin will look like a nightmare. This lady is so pushy I understand she's trying to make ends meet but treating people the way she does will scare people away. Also she tried to ask me if I had Botox and for me to raise up my head like what does my head have to do with her working on my eyebrows I've never had someone tell me to do this . Like wtf just because I'm not old and wrinkled like she is... she doesn't have the right to ask what I do or assume I did botox? So disrespectful and rude!!! I will not be coming back to this shitty hostile environment. I think everyone deserves to know how bad this place is if you want to come out with bloody dented skin go here but I suggest you be careful you might come out looking like a sharpie . Look at all her photos the brows look so dark and harsh. It's uneven and not seamless.
