If they aren't selling you a set of four tires do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I brought my truck in to have the tires rotated and a tire looked at for a possible leak. The said I needed a new tire monitor on one tire so I had it replaced. I still have the same issue that I brought it in for. This is my 1st experience I feel cheated by ETD Tire in Wayne. $90 for a tire pressure sensor for my vehicle. I bought 4 Brand New Tires which had to be installed, so they had the tire off the wheel already. Tire Pressure sensors are average price of $34 across the internet. If you're going to give good prices on tires, why overcharge for a simple tiny bolt on part? Not Happy this time guys..This was my 3rd time buying 4 full set of tires....Feel I was ripped off. read more

Excellent, professional service of my Acura TL from these gentlemen. Prices are fair and as expected. No barrage of unnecessary extras. I have been their customer for several years for these reasons. In particular, today was an exceptional experience, b/c I have had recent terrible events in my personal life (death, disease, disaster... where you can't take one more thing going wrong....) and BAM - flat tire first thing in the morning. I drove directly there, and learned the tire could not be fixed, and, as is to be expected on a Saturday morning, the shop was very busy. To my horror, I started crying (talk about embarrassing!) Manny the manager and Andy the assistant manager could not have been nicer. They took excellent care of everything. Not just of the car but of me, too. (Coffee, cookies - which make everything better - kind understanding and some humor). Me and my car were fixed right up. Manny even refused to charge me for the service, which was hard for me to accept, but I will pay it forward and bring them lunch one day. I was overwhelmed by their kindness, generosity and understanding, on a hectic Saturday morning, with their phones ringing off the hook and plenty of cars to service. I could not be more grateful for the genuine kindness these decent men showed me, and my faith in mankind is now restored. . read more

My starter died this week and I went to my normal mechanic to replace the part. I paid $316 for a brand new starter. Afterwards I looked at my prior receipts and realized that ETD in Wayne replaced my starter 18 months ago. I paid $364 for remanufactured starter that barely lasted 18 months. If I would have remembered this, I would have directed AAA tow my car to ETD. Unfortunately I did not but decided to call ETD after the fact to gather the facts and inform them of the defect. They were polite and could not offer me much under the circumstances. They did propose a possible % off future oil changes and services which I refused based on the higher fees/low quality provided to me earlier. I did not trust sending my car to them any further. Based on the fact that I paid ETD more for a remanufactured starter that lasted 18 months, I would not recommend using ETD Tire for anything but tires. I wound up paying more and getting much less from them. read more

I've done my own oil changes, but for $29.95 and they get rid of the oil, that is a fair price. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT for Noon and told them I would wait, figuring 1/2 hour max.....I can do it in my driveway in a half an hour, it should take the experienced mechanics in the bay that reads EXPRESS OIL CHANGE less time.....boy was I wrong. Clearly, they gave my simple oil change to the new guy on the block (and don't tell me he wasn't, you can see his green a mile away). Now, the facility is probably one of the nicest I have seen. Clean, Wifi, coffee, snacks, cables to power your phone, and the desk staff - all make for a pleasant experience. However, knowing a customer is waiting for an EXPRESS OIL CHANGE and the process taking OVER AN HOUR is really unacceptable. Knowing that a customer came in for a $29.95 oil change, but bumped it up to a $65 synthetic oil change?? No one said a peep until I asked "should an oil change take an hour!?" I was disappointed with the overall experience and the work quality I received from this shop. Upon walking in, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the technicians that I worked with were courteous. I brought my car in to have tires(which I provided) mounted and road force balanced. To be honest, I chose these guys because they were the closest shop I could find with a road force balancer. I probably should have driven a little farther. While waiting for the work to be done, I was approached three different times wondering if I wanted some other item or service they could provide. It started with a warranty on the tires($100), then it went to a rear brake rotor and pad swap($407), and finally an alignment for $90. While they were courteous each time, I could not help but feeling like they were fishing for more money out of me, thinking that I was some rich guy who knows nothing about cars. The $400+ for rear brakes is frustratingly overpriced because they quoted me an hour and fifteen minutes of labor for the job. I've done my own brakes, and it takes no more than a half hour in my driveway with a jack and manual tools. It should take these guys much less time. The work received was inconsistent and sloppy; the tire pressures they set were inconsistent and much higher than they should have been. So unless something happens to all other repair shops in the area, I will not be returning to ETD Wayne to receive sub-par work and overpriced sales pitches. read more

I had my first experience with ETD recently after getting 2 flat tires in one week. The first tire was replaced entirely while the second was repaired. The work was done well and quickly! Everyone there is friendly and helpful and the space is clean and comfortable. Plus they have great wifi, free snacks, TV and chargers available to customers. my girlfriend brought her car in to get oil change few days ago and they told her someone damaged her oil pan last oil change by overtighening drain bolt..the funny thing is i did her oil change last 7 times and never had issue bf..the reason she went to them was bc i was busy and couldnt do this time..when i called manager cj he did not want to take responsibility for damaging oil pan and told me he will not cover the repair or parts.. it seems like this place hires young kids out of school to change oil and when they mess up on someones car they dont want to take responsibility for it.cj told me the mechanic had 7 yrs experience and my girl told me he looked 18-20yrs old...this place is corporate owned and manager doesnt care about correcting ther f... ups...only way is bringing them to court... dont go to these places...they suck...find a mechanic that has yrs of experience and where you can speak to actual owner..i did many oil changes in past and only time ther were issues was when other shops messed up oil pan...it would be leaking oil and i would show the customer bf draining the oil so they know it wasnt me....btw....my girlfriends car was dry and had no,oil leaks ever coming from oil pan bolt, occastionally having to change washer which is sometimes needed.......smh... read more
