After 5 years of Boca Shopping Center purchases at the LAMPS PLUS store here in Summerlin? They decided to CLOSE it under the guise of "remodel". What a shame, I've easily spent almost $2,000 there during this time and I am not going to drive 15 miles to Henderson. Ludicrous. I find it most hard to believe? Summerlin or Centennial cannot "support" fiscally, one of their stores. I'll go elsewhere before I'll opt for their so-called, online "store". Such a mistake and clearly their's made. read more

Seriously this place is terrible in customer service and organizing the pickup order, I went Saturday around noon to pick up my girlfriend chandelier and the gentleman with no hair, told me that the small box with the label on her name was the only box to pick up, but I ASK HIM ONCE, this is it? His response was he have only 2 orders to pick up and that was the order. Ok so I left thinking probably my girlfriend misunderstood the pricing or she ordered something smaller, so wen i got home we open the small box and it was only part of the glasses from the chandelier, from there i got DRAMA AT HOME BECAUSE OF THAT, so today Monday I returned to the store with the small box and I spoke to someone named TOM, whoever he is owner manager or just the help, he said to me they only gave me the glasses from the bottom of the chandelier, i got angry cause this was a BIG MISTAKE FROM THEM , I have to drive 40 minutes back and forth Saturday and Monday , terrible experience and waste of time with this place, I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody, this experience have nothing to do with the prices , just the management is terrible. read more

Theo (Sales) went over and above to make sure that our Chandelier purchase was perfect. We ordered a large crystal chandelier and the base showed up without the 260 crystals. Called the store, I was told that I can wait till they get corporate involved, or they can take the part off their floor model and I will have to come pick it up in store. I asked if they could pop the used part into the mail, I was told no. I had to plead my case on how irrational and ridiculous that problem solving is, and how human beings should treat one another. I was put on hold until they came to the conclusion that they could mail it yo me. Two missing parts and one can be shipped to me and the other I need come get? While out to pick up some meds from the vet, I decided to stop by Lamps Plus on a whim since I had needed new fans for some time. I was met by Frank Morrison who showed me the fans and was able to answer all my questions about them. I had picked out three then saw the boxes and remembered that I drive a Fiat Spider so while I could possibly wrangle two for the short drive home I definitely couldn't do all three. It was no problem for them to put the boxes back and set it up online for delivery, though. I also remembered I really needed a new light over my dining table and after telling Frank the sizes and that I prefer down lights, he showed me three options right up my alley. I went with the bronze fixture sine the fan I had chosen for the great room was also bronze. After getting it all input and paid he gave me two cards for installers to contact once my fans arrived. Ok so I stopped in to get some bulbs for a Chandalier I purchased here and I just have to say that every time I come into this Lamps Plus at this Summerlin location I am treated so kindly and professionally. Frank waited on me and he was so friendly and prompt and professional. When I finished the transaction I noticed an error on the address he input and since I was having the items shipped I pointed it out and he smiled and was relaxed-no attitude about having to go back and actually call the company he ordered the bulbs from. He treated me like a human instead of getting irritated like most places do now days. Every time I walk in this store I am treated so well and like a valuable customer. Thank you. I wanted to share my frustration with our experience in hopes that others do not have a similar situation. Frank, our sales person, who we worked with directly in the store to find specifically what we were looking for...and let me state again we were VERY specific on the functionality we NEEDED, to which he continued to state YES YES YES assuring us that our needs would be met by this fan. WELL, come to find out when the electrician came to install it indeed DID NOT provide the functionality we needed AND what we were told repeadily by Frank that it had...OK...so I called and told Frank this, to which he replied, "Well I'm not an electrician"!!! REALLY, i didnt know that..then please tell me WHY you answered our questions as YES over and over again confidently. There was no ambiguity in what were we asking and if you "are not an electrician" then WHY in the #$@ are you answering the questions as if you knew. If you didn't know, then tell us you don't know and we would have respected that. But to first off, answer questions you don't know the answer to, to simply "get the sale" is bad enough. But then when found out you were not correct to then state "I'm not an electrician"??? We will never do business with him or this company again. I expect honest and trustworthy sales people, which we found when we returned the fan and went to a competitor who was not only honest, but competent. Just fair warning. We all make mistakes, but this goes beyond that and shows the level, or lack thereof, of customer service and professionalism. And to add, when we indeed did return the product, he offered no help to correct his mistake, simply processed the return and said GOOD BYE. What a joke. I hope others do not experience this and this was isolated, but thought I would share to make aware. read more

Then wham, I saw the most beautiful artistic lamp with marble dripped inside lucite. Game changer. Thomas Marquez was extremely helpful. He checked for a second one. He's very professional and knowledgeable. Suffice it to say, I've decided to isolate the lamp and add a complimentary design on the other side of the bed. I needed assistance with lampshade size. I initially purchased 3 crystal mini pendant lights, and one spiral chrome 16 3/4 flush mount light. A few weeks later I purchased 2 more Spiral chrome 16 3/4 flush mounts and the Spiral 22 1/2 10 light Pendant from the ET2 Collection and all I can say is WOW!! When I initially went into the store, I didn't know what I wanted. I just knew that I wanted something with a little bit of bling and something different and unique. That's when the sales associate Theo Ware stepped in. He was so knowledgeable of the products and he knew what size lights I needed, just by me telling him the floor plan of my house! This man is INCREDIBLE and knows EXACTLY what he's doing! He walked me through the entire store and showed me things that I would have never considered on my own. That's how I ended up with the lights from this beautiful collection. If you need assistance with any lighting needs, you HAVE to go see Theo at the Summerlin store. He will absolutely exceed your expectations! After installing the first set of lights and receiving so many compliments I decided to get a couple more to make things look consistent throughout. They are absolutely STUNNING! They cast a spectacular shadow on the walls and ceiling when turned on. The pictures don't do them justice. They are definitely a conversation piece. My electrician complained that he had to hang 200 crystals and suggested that the manufacturer make the crystals magnetic instead of using the individual little hooks. He said it's hard to see with the mirror type base and it becomes uncomfortable when standing under it to hook them up. The lights are SUPER bright, so we put them all on dimmers. I highly recommend these lights. They are well worth the money. Luckily for me, they went on sale within 60 days of my purchase. I called customer service and they refunded me the price difference.
