After they changed my long-standing appointment, I accepted the replacement time and later realized I couldn't make it work and was told I'd be charged a $50 fee. They referenced a recorded call to justify that I had accepted the replacement time, then the office manager began listing times I had rescheduled over the past 15 years, none of which were last minute. Many of those changes were due to work travel, but that context was ignored entirely. I was then told I would have to prepay that fee to make any future appointments. The entire conversation felt like harassment, not customer service. This isn't new. I've experienced extended wait times during visits, and the front office staff have been rude before. I overlooked it because I believed in Dr. Shultz, but there is only so much disrespect you can tolerate. There are also concerns about quality of care. My mom had a crown replaced here that broke off within a week, leading to a tooth extraction, with no accountability from the office. I dismissed it for years because I personally had good experiences, but there is a noticeable difference between treating a younger patient and an older one.
