Andrew and his team are THE greatest. This is, by FAR, the best place I've ever taken my car to. For many years before moving north, he provided great service for my vehicles. Always straight-up, no BS, no upselling, just plain facts about what your car does and doesn't need. Repairs were always perfect and well-priced. Not to mention the fact that Andrew is just a great guy in general. He truly cares about making sure your vehicle is in good shape but he also genuinely cares about his customers. After I left town, my mom continued to take her car to him for service. I appreciate the fact that he always treated her like family. Every visit was pleasant and she always called me to let me know that he asked her about me and my family. Mom is now up north with us. Our family's one true regret about moving is that we can no longer take our vehicles to Andrew. We SO miss his fantastic service, his kind heart and his epic smile.

I cannot help to share with folk's about the service of David of Larry's Transmissions…read more I bought a nice looking 89 Cadi from a retired (cheating) doctor in 04 (it was not cheap) no knowing its transmission had a big problem. Within 4 months, I need to rebuild the whole transmission. Through a pilot friend, I came to Larry's transmissions. He asked for $1,500.- that was pretty high comparing with many other quotes I had got. Having listened to David's explaination, owner of the shop, I decided to let him do the work. Having no knowledge about car, I had that fixed. Within a year, he called me to follow up. Very good. A little minor problem and he fixed it without even charging me. For the past years, it runs very good. Whenever I had other problems with my car, he would tell me what I could do. Last Sunday, I smelt something burnt and saw white smoke from the car. I had my friend look at it and found nothing. So I called David to have a look at the car. He said there was a leak due to wear and tear, it costs me $65.- to fix it. For all these years, I have referred a number of friends to him and he did great jobs. They are all happy. Other mechanics also work with him for over 20 years. I know it is difficult to find honest experienced auto mechanics as my late husband and I had service station business in Los Angeles before. In Charlotte, I had met a few times, mechanics either have little experience or cheating especially to women. So I want to share with those who need a good and not reap off mechanic in case you need help. Great job and trustworthy!!!

Dave let his mechanic take my truck home so he could pick up parts in my truck. So when I went there to get my truck " I surprised him with out calling his mechanic was picking up parts then so I called the police and told him to get my truck back over there he didn't know where it was. Make this story short they left my truck on central Ave at a gas station unlocked with the key under the floor mat and told me to pick it up from there. They where good back in the day but LARRY's TRANSMISSION not shitnow do not take your car over there. Trust me. 2016 March 1st this is the date I went. P.S the police made him fill my truck back with gas.

When he finally called on dec 11 for me to pick up my vehicle , 1st he had me do was make a payment which was more expensive than putting in a complete new A/C I paid $1500 and I had not even seen my vehicle! Once I paid the outrageous amount I was walked to my vehicle. Once there I opened up the drivers door and to my surprise my brand new leather car seats ,and my brand new carsilk floor mats, radio speakers,and OBII scanner were all gone!!! I asked him where they were he said he left my vehicle outside because he needed room for another vehicle and someone broke into my vehicle!! He said it happened about a month or so earlier yet he never called the police!!! So I asked him to call the police that day but he wouldn't, so I called the police and they took a police report!! my back door wouldn't close and the back window wouldn't role down and my steering wheel wouldn't lock still !! I Cranked the car up and the check engine light was on !! He said the heater core needed be replaced, he even wrote me estimate for $2500 This vehicle was flawless when I dropped it off no problems other than the blower resistor and this was actually checked out by a legitimate shop independence Volvo!! Only needed the blower resistor replaced!! While the police were there he kept stating he would replace everything after the police left he was very rude and told me to take him to court!!! Because he's not responsible for vehicles that he's working on at his shop!!! I will never let this nut case work on anything else ever of mine and yes I am going to take him to court!!! PS: He rigged up some button to AC unit and yet it still doesn't work!!!!

This place is was a nightmare. I am not sure where to begin…read more 1. If you are here, you are obviously doing your research (i wish i had) 2. This company has changed its name several times and have moved out from different cities such as Atlanta and even in Florida. if you look up Atlanta Certified Transmissions or Transmissions 4 Less you will find the owner Jose Castro's name tied to everything -- all with complaints. 3. They operate under 5-10 different phone numbers and a random call center that is not necessary. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach the person you'd like to reach. I had to drive them crazy on their personal numbers to get a call back. 4. The 2 year warranty is in place solely to keep them from having to give you your money back and let me tell you, you WILL be back as in my case 3 times. 5. The work will not be done right the first time. 6. They towed my vehicle for free which was nice, as soon as i drove it out I had problems, I turned around and went right back. They replaced a solenoid. I left. Drove for 2 days, the next time I had even more problems. They promised to tow it back for free (which was nice because it's still their fault it wasn't working) After 3 days and a $200 rental car later, I got the car back. I drove it for one day before I began having problems even worse than when I took it there in the beginning. All my transmission and check engine lights were on and the car was hardly driveable. I requested them tow it back for free since they had practically RUINED this car. The obliged and I said I needed it towed by 5pm while I was at work, they promised it would be done by noon. I left the office at 5pm after calling multiple times to try to find out where they were. They called me at 5:15 saying that Transmissions 4 Less had just called them about the vehicle 15 min prior. I said sorry I do not want the car towed now. They called me back the following morning asking to pick up the car. I refused unless they would pay for a rental car. Jose refused to pay for my rental car, cursed out my father. Spoke horribly rude to myself. Threatened myself and my dad. I said I'd give them one more shot the following Monday, they agreed and never showed up. 7. I filed a claim with Wells Fargo to get my money back and LOST because these snakes had a 2 year "WARRANTY" ... aka they will keep agreeing to "fix" your vehicle like you have 2 years to wait to have a driveable vehicle. 8. The last resort for me is small claims court, avoid this measure. THE LESSON HERE: I AM OUT $1870! PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS. THEY "REBUILD" YOUR TRANSMISSION BY TRIAL AND ERROR REPLACING ONE LITTLE PIECE AT A TIME AND GETTING IT WRONG EVERY TIME. IT'S NOT WORTH THE STRESS, HEADACHE, FOUL LANGUAGE AND THREATS.
