Luckily I happened to find CLTMobile online! I actually invested in a mobile brake repair business about 3 years ago but have often thought how great a full service mobile mechanic would be! I messed up an electrical connection on one of my cars by accident doing some service on it. I could not fix it. My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Mechanic came on time; he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job at a very affordable price! I will definitely be using them for all my automotive needs going forward that I can't fix myself. I love seeing the younger generation building a great and much needed business like this in Charlotte.

I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

My Turbo was falling apart. Had that replaced , gaskets, rings, Cat. Converter, and pipe assembly.. I had went out of town left the car with them.. They worked on it 3 business days. I left it on a Friday, got it back on Wednesday.. It runs like a brand new car. Never knew it could ride so smooth and have such power to it.. I've had my car 8 years and this was the only major money I've put in it.. A lot of other repair shops were racking me over the coals by just guessing why my engine light keeps coming on and wanted to keep my car 2 to 3 days to guess what it was. The VW is now at 135,000 miles, King Auto has provided service over 92,000 of those miles. The owner has always been gracious and helpful. He's always advised things to watch out and plan for. Typically can see me same day, if the bays are occupied, I'll return as he's available. Only a few times, I'd leave the auto and return upon completion. I refer friends and clients. That's how much I trust their ability.
