Then they get to work on their own social craft that was created for the class and then a big sensory bin that they all get to play with together. My oldest did a mini series one summer and it was so fun for him. One day a week for 4 weeks where he got dropped off for 45 minutes to work on a big project. I feel like it's a comfortable space to creat and interact with others. My son was pretty much a Covid kid and we didn't do any socializing and this place was a wonderful introduction to that. The owner is very sweet and patient and created a safe, fun, playful space. I also believe she does some adult art classes but you'll have to check her website out! Or stop in. So many cute and creative things to purchase for littles or yourself.

This place was a safe space for someone close to me for over a year. Just recently, a woman by the name of Sue approached her out of the blue and told her that she needed to pick up all of her things and leave and take classes if she wanted to come back. She was then left scavaging for all of her pieces and tools in front of all of the other artists in the studio at the time, leaving my friend mortified. She was later informed that she asked too many questions and so prompted Sue to kick her out. Because that clearly makes sense. In no situation is that kind of embarrassment ever acceptable and if this is the kind of practice that you guys are running, I want zero part of it. I hope you take a moment to reprioritize the humans who give you the money to keep your business running because if you carry on in this manner, that energy will come right back at you. First off, the gentleman that helped us out was really nice and really knowledgeable. He explained that most if not all of their stock is hand made by local glass artists. Second, they have a lot of really beautiful pieces that you might even buy just to smoke tobacco out of (probably not the intended use), and their durable too. He even tossed a few onto the concrete floor to prove it. Plus, they have a few great noveltyish artsy pieces too (check out the hammer). Also, they have some really nice one-of-a-kind glass wine stoppers too, and some other non-smoking handmade glass stuff as well. They also offer the occasional class on glass bead-making, and they may have a class on glassblowing too. Even if you're not big on the use of herbal supplements, so to speak, this place is pretty cool to check out for beautiful hand-blown and hand-shaped glass.

Originally we had stopped at a competing store within a block or two of the Dark Arts store. (Forgot name of other store, but Dark Arts actually helps stock them, and they are overpriced.) The manager, to me and my friends utter amazement saw us waiting for the store to open. In a wonderful twist of fate he offered us a ride to his store, insisting they were cheaper and had a wonderful business going. Of course I hopped in! These people were obviously not some creep in milwaukee looking for someone to mug. We got to the store, saw some amazing artwork in the store, amazing glass pieces locally made. If you're reading this review and wondering if it's worth it, IT IS. VISIT! They even have a referral program, you refer a customer to them and have them mention your name you get percentages off your next purchase! Isn't that neat or what!?!? Everything from reading all the class descriptions, selecting which kind of class (because there are lots of fun options!) to reserving the class and showing up were very seamless. We had such a great time making bath bombs and learning the process, and we were provided aprons and gloves so we stayed nice and clean. There were lots of scents, colors and shapes + glitter and other add ins to choose from. We both left with a whole box full of bath bombs and our instructor even packaged up the leftover "dust" as fairy dust to sprinkle into a bath. Even if you don't take a class, it's a perfect spot to stop in for handmade soaps or bath scents, great gift ideas! Really looking forward to doing one of the soap making classes here.
