The sunglasses were another story entirely. Over the span of 4 months, I was told that the lab was having a difficult time making the glasses I ordered, that they messed them up and had to restart, that another lab was going to make them, and many other excuses. Not once was I given an update on the status of the glasses except when I went in or called myself. Finally, I was given the option to come in and order an entirely different pair of sunglasses or accept a refund. For my trouble, I was given a check for $88, about 20% of what I paid originally for the visit. I was told that the regular glasses were $250 and the sunglasses only $88. That makes no sense. This place is terrible. They screw up and refuse to admit it. They do not give a crap about customer service. Avoid at all costs.

The first time I had a horrible experience with a careless optometrist that didn't explain things very well. Then, about 6 years ago, they became intolerable-- always dry, foggy, sticky. I've been trying out contacts at every eye exam since, hoping technology will have changed and they will miraculously work for me again. Every time I've been to another optometrist, when I report the same problems, they tell me I had better just stick with glasses. Not Dr. Kim. After a very thorough exam, she actually listened to my problems, gave me a trial pair, did a really thorough job of checking fit/comfort, and sent me on my way to see how I did. And had me schedule a follow-up appointment to debrief! I have never had an optometrist do this. When those contacts had the same problems I always seem to have, she gave me another kind to try, and had me schedule another follow-up to see how they work! And these are working really well. Kudos to Dr. Kim and her staff. I'll be recommending you to all of Leavenworth!
