I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. Canceled my family's membership and never going back to this dump.

The biggest and only con to this waterpark are the majority of the female lifeguards. They are power tripping teenagers that will blow their whistle on any little thing once they find someone they don't like. Yet they will let their friends rough house and run and be in the kid area inappropriately. Specifically the female lifeguards that were on duty in the children's area or a big problem with big attitudes, the one sitting in the kids area by the lazy river with the longer hair picked on every single thing, including me trying to get my son who was nervous and scared in the lazy river out of the lazy river. She tried to tell me we had to go all the way around while he was freaking out, and I had another child in the play area. It's unfortunate these power tripping teenagers can ruin such a nice time. Otherwise, the facilities are perfect. I included a picture of us at the park. She kept looking at me even though we've done nothing wrong and it's honestly really bothersome. She literally let two kids run by real fast and jump when they weren't supposed to and she looked right at me and smirked. She left her post at 1:18. Again this facility is wonderful. I would give it five stars but because of lifeguards it gets less.

Any time we tried to say something or ask a question, it felt strictly "all business" with zero fun or excitement, which is kind of the whole point of a rage room. They put all six of us into one small room, and I really wish they had split us up. It felt like we were constantly taking turns just to get a chance to smash anything, which took away from the experience. The room itself was very small, and the items provided to break were extremely limited. Honestly, thank goodness we paid extra for additional items, because otherwise there would have been almost nothing to smash. The guy who gave us the directions came off as rude, and it felt like we weren't allowed to ask any questions. This was not my first rage room experience -- I've been to one in Fort Worth, and that one was much more fun, better organized, and had a friendlier atmosphere. I won't be coming back here, and I won't be recommending it. I truly feel like I wasted my time and money, which is really disappointing, especially for a birthday outing.

Such an exhilarating experience! Highly recommend the rage room at Splatter & Smash!…read more The gentleman running the place is super friendly and explained the rules well. They provide sanitized coveralls, helmets, and gloves. It costs $35 per person for 20 minutes, which was just the right amount of time to smash everything we were given (glasses, plates, electronics). You can use bats or hammers and even write on the breakables with sharpies. You can also connect your phone to play your own music! TL;DR: Fun $35 rage room with friendly staff, sanitized gear, and plenty of time to smash stuff. You can even play your own music!

Once you look at the prices for an annual membership here (which I think is currently $35) it seems crazy that anyone would pay for a gym membership anywhere else! In the last three months I've taken a couple of different classes. I started with the crazy sounding cycleates, which was half pilates and half spin class. Turns out, I'm more into the pilates half of that equation so I've been taking pilates classes ever since. The instructor plays great music, the people are super friendly, and they provide everything you need as far as mats, weights, etc. I'm a bit of a germophobe, so I bring my own mat. The great thing is that classes are so reasonably priced! You can try out any class if you just want to stop in - I think prices for a single class range from $2 to $8, but you can find out detailed info about drop in prices on the Grapevine website. They have been super flexible with me about trying different levels and figuring out which class works best for me without charging me any extra. I'm a total cheapskate about paying for exercise classes and this is finally an option that is in my budget and doesn't make me feel like I'm being robbed blind. Is it a community center? Yes. Does it have the fancy amenities you would find at one of the chain gyms? No. So if you like working out in luxe surroundings, you probably won't be thrilled. But I'm not really too concerned with anything other than getting off my lazy ass and doing a workout that I enjoy, so this has been perfect for me!

I enjoyed how friendly the staff was in doing so. When I did join the lady that took our info and photo was very pleasant. Pretty good size place and more than a few things to offer. I enjoy the in door track the most. Have not tried the weights located down stairs, they are always being used at the time I come. I've only been here a few times and I can appreciate that it is family friendly. They are adult and child activities for those to sign up for classes. Which is a plus for me since I have two teenagers. The only thing I don't care for is when I am jogging in the indoor track parents allow their little ones to play ahead and not being watched. They get in the way of my work out. I don't know what the rules are up for this area but it would be nice for parents to keep an eye on their children running around when people as myself are trying to work out. So far so good. Ps. I understood that they will break ground for a indoor pool soon.
