What an awesome year round Halloween place located in Anaheim's Garden Walk. They have amazing props that are so real and life like! I took pictures of just about everything EXCEPT for the wall that held a few dolls where a couple are said to be haunted... for reals! They also have a Haunted Maze Saturdays and Sundays and of course we bought some tickets. Can't wait for this weekend!

Super cool haunted maze definitely a great date night or if you need plans with friends I highly recommend checking it out. You can get tickets ahead of time to skip the line!

This haunted house is so scary!! I wasn't expect it to be this scary. A lot of characters will scare you with different room themes. The inside is much bigger than I expected from the outside. Love the experience!

Great haunt, with excellent props, dedicated actors, and surprising scares. Went during Halloween and it had a solid theme that linked together all the rooms. Good date night experience!

Scary haunt! A lot of fun! The set design and scare actors are top notch! Be ready to scream! They also have a cool gift shop in the front. Great location in the gardenwalk mall.

The store is gorgeous. So pretty and well detailed. And to top it off the haunt in the back is sooo scary I may have peed a lil there was something around every turn... and ohh my was it gorgeous so many details. They also said that they will be doing Christmas and valentines events as well. This is for sure going in out haunt tour next year and stoked for an off season haunt.

An amazing haunt ran by talented people Every room is beautifully built with extreme attention to detail you need to experience this for yourself Will definitely go back again a few times

The whole aesthetic here seems to be a combination of Japanese and Chinese horror which to me is super creepy... i mean, Ju-on (The Grudge)??? I went with a group of four but they only let two in at a time. There was no line which was strange being that it was Halloween night. The staff was really friendly and even asked if we wanted it less scary or really scary. I chose "less scary" because of the two girls with us that were afraid :P‍ That said it was still eerie and had a good amount of scares. The best part is (again) the style of costumes and viewpoint of horror, spirits and ghosts in Asia. I won't spoil the specific scares but there is one part in particular where I had an "oh hell nah!" moment 0_0 The maze seemed kind of short, maybe 7 minutes, but i wasn't counting. There weren't really any extravagant special effects which could be good or bad depending on the person. I feel a haunted house can be good without all of the over-production. That said, this does feel like a lower-budget haunted house, but at $15, I found it to be worth it and my group had fun too I hope this maze gets more business because it could be a little bigger and get more staff for scaring. It's such a refreshing take on haunted houses though and I want this place to be around for more Halloweens!

This is an update to our review of Escapade Games, and we really lucked out in our choice of…read moreRockin' around the Christmas Tree. Almost all of Escapade Games' rooms have a horror element and are obviously targeted towards the colleges nearby, but not only was Rockin' adapted to accommodate parties of two; for this season, it was themed to fit the holidays. We also got a very pleasant surprise when it came time to pay for our online reservation: it was half the price of a standard room for a party of 8! This was a (happy) shock because we are used to paying for 3 or 4, even though we are a duo. The 2025 Pineapple Express had slowed to a steady trickle by the time we arrived at Escapade Games Christmas Eve after a music-less British pub lunch less than a two-minute drive away. The cavernous restrooms, located outside the lobby, were clean, and the lobby looked like it was in the midst of some renovation, but another game was going on, and since we already filled out our waivers, we settled down to wait for our game to start. And waited. And waited. And waited. When we finally started our hour-long game, after the technical difficulties were resolved and the game rules reminders given, all was forgiven very fast: as a bonus to playing a game that was getting ready to be put out of commission, we could take unlimited photos in the room! And there was so much to do in the music-themed room: even though not all the instruments were playable, and there were still minor glitches as we were playing, Joey was a terrific game host - he, too, made a quick recovery from the technical issues and was as determined as we were to have a phenomenal game. There was no timer in the room, but going by our photos, we were done in 52:48, with a lot of help. Our favourite puzzles had to do with the picks and bands, and playing the instruments to rise back up to the top of the pops as rockstars is such an original theme. The music played put us in the holiday mood - especially "The 12 Days of Christmas". That's probably not our favourite Christmas song, but it helped that I just got done with Susan Stokes-Chapman's holiday short story collection! Rockin' around the Christmas Tree is set to what we consider 3-G (Generation 3, with a lot of computer FX elements) tasks with G-1 locks, and, despite the late start, was very much the best Christmas present to set us off on our holidays! Joey, our heroic gamemaster, was a huge part of the fun game we had. We could tell he had started off not having such a good Christmas because the room's serious technical issues were clearly unexpected, but he fixed everything so that we could have a great time. We eventually realized the fantastic price we paid was not just because our game, unlike other Escapade rooms, did not feature a live actor in the room. Even more importantly, we only found out, after our game, that the room was being taken down to make way for a three-room movie-based horror adventure. We are so, so glad that we got to experience Rockin' around the Christmas Tree before it was dismantled, and keep our fingers crossed it gets a spectacular comeback in the near future (like the rockstars we were supposed to be!) That said, we are looking forward to checking out anything else Escapade Games has to offer - can't wait for more games in 2026! This review is duplicated on Yelp and Google.

Didn't know zombies stayed that minty fresh. Non-likes: - Bad traffic regulation. The staff weren't monitoring the car line that extends through the Lincoln Ave-Brookhurt St intersection. And I just LOVE the idea of them getting through your window and hopping into your car! I had some really fun and spooky interactions with a few of them. I understand they don't have much room to work with as far as set pieces, so if you're looking for themed rooms or facades like the hayride, this is definitely not for you. Given how long the wait was last night (though understandably as it was the Saturday before Halloween), versus how much time was spent actually experiencing what the haunt had to offer, I just don't think this experience was worth the price tag. Speaking of the price tag real quick, I also struggled to understand the validity behind their pricing tiers online. The prices change based on what time you say you're going to be there in line for the attraction. But it didn't seem to matter. I played the honest game, and bought the ticket for the time I said I could arrive , but I think I spent an extra $15 for absolutely no reason. I don't think $44 is worth a car wash and 5 minutes of interaction with actors. In my opinion they still could have made this a 4 star haunt if they hired more actors. There were SO many cars in line once you got on the car wash property and I think it was grossly misused by keeping their actors in one small area.

I was becoming exhausted and I got a TON of steps in (my watch tracked almost 10 miles and over 21k steps!), but we crossed back into Disneyland from California Adventure because my LTP wanted to squeeze in one more ride before leaving the park and catching the shuttle back to our hotel. They still had all their Christmas and other holiday stuff up at the time of our visit, which included the Haunted Mansion Holiday, a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed ride. Everyone goes down the elevator upon entering and then they are guided to these pod-like chairs. They don't stop, so you have to get on them while they're still moving. This is also the same when you exit the ride. About halfway through, the ride abruptly stopped even though all the background noise was still going on. I had seriously though that the ride broke down or something and we would be stuck for a long period of time and well after the park would close, but it started up again less than five minutes later. I don't know if this was part of the ride, but it was weird that we all stopped abruptly like that. Be prepared for a lot of twists and turns here, and especially look out for some funhouse-like mirrors towards the end of the ride. You'll never know what you might see! Lining up, attendees observed a cemetery, complete with a friendly caretaker. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/originsthe-curse-of-calico-buena-park-2?select=0soEAYcpKJ3cnorgeAxJMA https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/originsthe-curse-of-calico-buena-park-2?select=w8-l0MpNgr93r1VGGyNHSA https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/originsthe-curse-of-calico-buena-park-2?select=uV2S5io-aK7bqoy6p-CpZA Once near the entrance, various Calico city officials stated the various crimes against Sarah Marshall and led chants of "Hang that witch!". https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/originsthe-curse-of-calico-buena-park-2?select_video=tFH1ORB2hcC0EXkXusihqg Inside, the meticulously detailed sets were captivating, starting at the courthouse, then to the town jail, and so on & so forth through the fictional Old West town of Calico. Haunted CGI mirrors of Sarah Marshall were strewn about, along with a creepy baby for good measure. 2 "scary groots" near the end were simply adorable! The piece de resistance of the maze is also quite cool, which I won't spoil. Origins - The Curse of Calico is a worthy new addition to the scare mazes at Knott's Scary Farm, hence the posted 45 minute wait the first of two times I visited the maze. The place settings & decor are quite convincing, and warrant a second trip, of which I managed to do close to when the park was closing. Since this is the final year for Special Ops:Infected, Origins - The Curse of Calico may be my new favorite Knott's Berry Farm scare maze. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/originsthe-curse-of-calico-buena-park-2?select=Cmo99ppTKNbTSFEd6_hUEQ Highly recommend!
