    The tea spread
    Julie E.

This place is everything and more! If you're looking for a unique activity and you're into the paranormal, tea parties, Victorian houses, and history - this is for you! This is the first year they're doing these wonderful tea parties and depending on the time of year you go, the theme changes. I attended Krampus Christmas and I had the best time. Both Dan and Diana Vogel are extremely gracious hosts. Their fun banter and friendly personalities just makes you feel like you're amongst old friends. There is booze so some of the events are 21+, but you can liquor up and go talk to some spirits, make manifestation jars and then eat finger foods and drink tea. There isn't much walking but stairs are involved so just keep that in mind. Truly, The Vogel Victorian exceeded every expectation I had and was so much better than I could have imagined. Their tickets do sell out fast so I'd follow them on Instagram (TheVogelVictorian) to see when they drop.

Fun immersive experience with wonderful hosts! I've now been to two evening tea events & both were such a great time! The stories told, interesting facts about the history of the theme (everything from Krampus to Victorian burial practices to the origin of Valentine's Day), gorgeous home, & final setting of tea in the dining room were more than I'd imagined. It's easy to lose track of time & I found myself lingering at the end of night- not wanting the stories & conversations to end. Dan & Diana are lovely humans. You can tell that they work hard to make this experience unique for their guests. While the tea almost became an afterthought for me, I'm sure there will be some people that want fancier finger foods or a broader tea selection. I was pleased with the food & tea both times. One thing of note, you don't get a full teapot for yourself (as I've had with other teas). You get to choose your tea flavor & it's an individual portion in your tea cup, but you can ask for more tea if you'd like! Overall, I'd recommend the experience- not just for the spooks, decor, & tea - but for the people you'll meet & the wonderful hosts.

I gave it 4 stars because I feel for the price of admission ($135), some things could have been better. The house is small and I felt like they booked just too many people on the day that I went. This was apparent when we were in the kitchen making our intention candles. It was way overcrowded, you could barely find anything let alone move around. I felt rushed and I missed the candy bar entirely because of this My other complaint was the food. It felt store bought and I was definitely expecting better desserts, not things you'd pick up at a grocery store. We had a whole kettle of water on our table but only received one tea drop the entire time we were there. Again, too many people. Overall, I enjoyed my time. The basement, the decor/theme, and the house itself are all great. The host and hostess were wonderful and I really felt Mrs. Vogel was the star. Would I go back? Not sure. Maybe if the things I mentioned above, were improved on.

Truly, one of the best tea times I have ever been to. If you're into anything fall-time or Halloween this needs to be on your bucket list. The tea time itself was very cute and creative, but for me the star of the show was going to the kitchen to create blessing jars or manifestation candles. That alone made the experience worth it to me, but I also very much enjoyed going on our ghost adventure in the basement. The Vogels are amazing for opening their home to do this for us. You can feel spiritual presences in the basement as well as in the house, but at the same time the couple creates such a warm and welcoming experience that you feel right at home. I definitely want to come back in the future. Especially if they have one around Valentine's.

We had an amazing time here at this beautiful Victorian home. Check out their Instagram to see all creative videos that have been made about the haunt. The owners were so gracious and enthusiastic about introducing us to their home and resident spirits. They have restored their home and keep it beautifully decorated for each season's theme. When we arrived they had wine available for us to self serve in some vintage crystal glasses. I loved that all the glasses were different styles. We started the tour in the basement where we participated in some ghost hunting techniques. It was a fun and spooky time. Then we ventured into the home where we started with a non-alcoholic Valentines shot and delicious chocolate. We then made our own manifestation tins using a variety of herbs that she had available. Each herb symbolized something different, so we chose ones with qualities we wanted to manifest in our lives. We then enjoyed a short presentation about Valentine's Day and then enjoyed the tea party with a delicious spread of both savory and sweet foods. The tea was served in flavored sugar cubes that you pour hot water over to make the tea. The owner was so charismatic, funny and incredibly hospitable. We came from San Antonio, TX to enjoy this experience and look forward to visiting again to enjoy a different theme.

I had a marvelous time at the Vogel Victorian Haunted Bridgerton Tea Party! The house is a 126-year-old Victorian mansion in Santa Ana. You start the experience in the Carriage house with some wine. Time to head to the basement to commune with the spirits. It's pitch dark in here, except for the glow of the hostess's lantern. She seats you in a circle and proceeds to invite the various ghosts who occupy the house. We visit with the spirits through the use of a dowsing rod and an EMF device. Next you progress to the mudroom for some libations and a lecture on the house. Into the kitchen to make some potions. You follow your heart to make an intention bottle, filled with exotic spices and herbs chosen for their magical properties. This is a keepsake you will take home with you to remember the experience. Then it's into the parlor for some more information about the house and the Regency period in England. Most of the guests are in costume and the hosts are in full blown Bridgerton finery. The parlor contains period gowns, jewelry, and shoes on display. Hostess Diana holds court as the lady of the house. Finally, double doors slide apart, and you are welcomed into the dining room for tea. You are presented with different choices of tea. I picked peppermint. Finger sandwiches adorn three-level serving plates, along with pastries. A course of soup and pasta follows. And plenty of cucumber water. The hosts, Dan, and Diana, regale you with stories of hauntings and history, and a lively discussion ensues. At the end of the evening, someone is crowned the "diamond" of the party. And oddly enough, this time it was me! And with a fond farewell, the hosts release us into the night.

I cannot even begin to express how amazing this Bridgerton Themed Tea Party experience was! The attention to detail is by far out of this world! From the moment I stepped into The Vogal Victorian, I could feel the authentic yet exciting energy in the air. The tea party itself was a perfect blend of gorgeous and delightful, with great conversation around us as we sipped our tea and indulged in delicious treats. The tour of the mansion before tea was incredibly thrilling, as we encountered several memorable experiences that were truly priceless (I won't spoil it for you). I truly felt like I was stepping back in time and connecting with another world. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Vogal for creating such a unique and unforgettable experience - it is one that will stay with me forever! I also wanted to add a special thank you for Mr. Vogal in the beginning, greeting us, the genuine small talk, he could not have been more kinder. Mrs. Vogal. You inspire me and I will return! 10 Stars! Xoxo, Your Diamond of the tea.

I had a blast here! My friend and I went together and it was a perfect girls night out. We're huge Beetlejuice fans but now we're huge Vogel Victorian house fans. Diana was the ultimate host and so accommodating, she made everyone feel welcome. Would love to attend more events here in the future. Highly recommend! I wish this family nothing but success, they are so kind!

What an amazing experience! It was such a pleasure meeting Diana and Daniel Vogel. Diana is so witty and funny, I never heard my fiancé laugh so hard. The house was decorated so cute. The food was yummy and the drinks were delicious. 10/10 experience

5/5- if there was a 10 rating they would get it! The hostess and host are incredibly engaging people who make their guests feel right at home. I had first heard about this experience through an IG paranormal events influencer. I kept trying to get tickets last year but I finally found them for the "Bloody Valentine" themed evening. It was really fun, entertaining as well as immersive. I particularly loved how much passion and meticulous detail Diana (the owner) has within the decor, activities that she presents, paranormal channeling as well as the storytelling. Diana is a witty and charming person who takes great care and pride in expressing her love for the Victorian era and bestowing new knowledge onto her guests. I walked away feeling immensely content for partaking in this amazing event and grateful to bring my family members with me. In my quirky way, this was like buying them a Valentine's Day experience rather than a tangible gift. I find that experiences like these are special, memorable and far surpass any other gift. My 3 guests loved this tea party and paranormal experience just as much as me! We are all definitely coming back for more and I've been telling more and more people about it! I wish the Vogels a very successful year and may the business continue to thrive!

i was invited as my brother's +1 to the bloody valentine party and it's the most fun i've had in a long time! for this being my first time here, i loved diana's genuine energy and her wonderful husband and i just felt so comfortable in their home and during this whole experience. im usually quite afraid of the dark and im fairly claustrophobic, but even in the basement with spirit and ghostly activity, i felt so comfortable! their home is so gorgeous, and diana's jokes and fun banter with us made me smile and giggle the whole evening. the tea party was my favorite part! the set-up, the decor, the food, and everything was just perfect. i had such a wonderful time and i can't wait to come back! they are such wonderful people who created such a fun and joyous evening for me that i still think about it to this day! thank you guys so much!

The holiday selection at HomeGoods is far superior to almost anything around. It's a mix of Big Lots, Rite Aid, Michaels, and Macy's. The variety is impressive. And while they are less expensive, a full set can still run a hundred or so dollars, but it's better than the 3-4 hundred at Macy's. The store still feels a big junky and disjointed. Not as bad as Goodwill, but sections can feel close. You also have to look carefully at what you're buying. We were looking for a laundry basket, and it took a while to find one that wasn't damaged.
