What a fantastic find! An absolutely lovely spot with comfy seating, tables to work at, and a menu that stumped my indecisive self. The staff was super friendly and helpful with explaining the options I was interested in. I got the avocado toast +egg and an iced latte and it was great! 2 notes I have - the toast was served on sourdough which was difficult to cut with the plastic utensils provided - real silverware would make the experience much better :) I also didn't like that my clothes strongly smelled of the kitchen after, not sure if there's anything that fix that, but it won't stop me from coming back - dying to try that guava croissant asap!!

Their campesino coffee is the best.

This is my 2nd visit to Q'Bo. I couldn't wait to return for the excellent campasina and amazing guava pastries. Unfortunately, pastries were sold out which means we will have to return soon.

Cute Colombian owned cafe. All their coffee is sourced from Colombia. Such friendly staff, calm atmosphere, and delicious pastries and food. I tried one of their coffee specials which was cold brew with a coconut cold foam. So delicious. The braised beef sandwich was so tasty. The star of the show is the guava croissant. 10/10 recommend!!! A cute space to get some work done or sit and chat with a friend. I can't wait to come back to try more of their menu. They're constantly expanding. They're hoping to have a tapas menu soon. I can't wait to come back and explore it even more of their menu! Check them out this summer!!!!

Q'Bo just opened and are working hard to get the place fully operational. The cafe has a nice calm atmosphere with really nice seating areas. Perfect place to do some work or meet with friends. The pastry is amazingly and all prepared on site. You must try the guava croissant. The coffee is great too, did I mention the cafe is Columbian owned? So you know the coffee is good! They eventually will also serve tapas, and I can't wait to see the end result when they are good to go.

Great vibes I still highly recommend getting the empanadas w/the cilantro/salsa sauces, so good!

Stopped in to Q'Bo this morning prior to my ICRYO appointment and was blown away with how warm and inviting this place is. There are seating groups with chairs and sofas, and real plants and trees; just adorable! The hanging lighting pendant collection is gorgeous! Great menu options for breakfast and lunch!!! Chris Stapleton tunes were playing overhead. Just the best experience this morning! And Chuckie is a GEM!

My second time dining at 29 Markle Court yesterday! When…read morefirst I was introduced to this restaurant: an impromptu visit with a group, and we shared small plates, family style. It was delicious! This time, I reserved a table for four, including guests who were up to an adventurous evening. The place was hopping! A Friday evening fun atmosphere and a beautiful bar that reminded me of a Paris restaurant. We were seated at a great table with banquettes in a corner of the front dining room. Our waitperson was excellent- energetic, informed of the menu, friendly & interactive, I believe her name was Shamira. We received great recommendations for dishes on the menu accommodating certain preferences. Following Cocktails - from the usual order of Scotch, to the " Crimson" spicy, indeed. The "Wanderer" imbiber said she could sip them all night. I, being mostly just a wine drinker, ordered from the "unusual wines" - a delicious white wine from Languedoc named "Picpoul De Pinet, Feline Jourdan", which paired very well with both courses. Based on my enthusiasm we all shared a bottle with our Main Course! Total alignment. We shared Caesar salads, which were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their selection of a main course: Halibut with corn risotto, Shrimp & Grits with spicy red sauce (just right spicy), My dish was Mussels in ginger & lemongrass red Curry, paired with grilled bread for soaking up that sauce, Yum!; a Whole Red Snapper with Mole sauce for my husband - most adventurous diner of the evening! We stretched ourselves to order two desserts: Crème Brûlée and Goat Cheesecake! Sublime. On departing the Restaurant, we were thanked for dining by the Proprietor, Wesley. We had an inspiring conversation about Bridgeport's future. A memorable evening.

Tucked in downtown Bridgeport with easy street…read moreand garage parking nearby, 29 Markle Court walks in with serious style -- the decor is chic, the atmosphere is warm and cool at the same time, and it genuinely feels like somewhere you'd expect to find in a much bigger city. Drinks first: my slightly dirty martini was made exactly right. My friend went with cosmo and it was equally on point. Whoever is behind that bar has their act together. Then the food happened. We started with grilled bread with an EVOO, agave, and chile dip -- sounds simple, ate like a statement. The char on the bread, the heat and sweetness of that dip. Good sign of things to come. Main event: shrimp and grits. Guinea flint grits, spicy red sauce, sage, stock. I don't say this lightly -- this is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The grits were creamy and rich, the sauce had real depth and heat, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The whole bowl just worked on every level. Dessert: goat cheesecake with pistachio dust and berry compote. Tangy, creamy, not too sweet, and that pistachio dust on top was a perfect finish. We cleared the plate.

It was very good and the Portuguese roll added a nice difference compared to the typical "grinder" this would be served on at other restaurants. My favorite was the beef along with the tasty srichacha mayo sauce it came with. We also had the steak tacos. The meat was scrumptious. The bar manager suggested the Strawberry Passionfruit Mojito which was divine. Finally, we had the flan for dessert. It was so creamy and delectable. We went for happy hour and the price could not be beaten. Everything tasted delicious, had quality ingredients and was plated nicely. The customer service was spectacular. The menu is some what tied into the Puglia region, which is the heel of the boot. I could tell the italian dialect from the owner when he was speaking to one of the staff, it immediately gave me a good feeling that this restaurant would be really good. The appetizers we had were all really good, we had the fried calamari, the grilled Octopusss, the fried zucchini flowers and thd hummus special. Sorry no pics of these. We had a couple of the Orrechiette Barese, Chicken parmigiana, a pasta special of fettuccine with shrimp in a cream and pesto sauce, another pasta with cavatelli, shrimp and cream and pesto sauce, really couldn't see the pesto, probably could have used a little more or maybe a little finishing with the pesto on top. Service was good and the owner came around to introduce himself and we got a complimentary round of their homemade creama di limencello to finish off the experience. Wr wouldn't hesitate to go again the next time we are in town to see a show.
