We stayed at the Casablanca Resort for a 5 day golf/birthday trip for my 50th Birthday! Our…read moreexperience was great and would recommend staying here if you come to Mesquite. There was something to do for everyone, and the food was good. I don't recommend the Einstein Bagel place if you are in a hurry in the morning as most of us were. They were so slow and didn't seem to have a sense of urgency to get your order out timely. The renovated rooms were good so recommend getting those rooms over the non renovated rooms. My friend went to the spa and she highly recommended getting a spa treatment while there. The pool was great too! Overall highly recommended this place while staying in Mesquite, NV.

I asked if we could request pool level, or casino level rooms, and they said yes. Again, no mention of construction. When we arrived, I was told the entire casino floor rooms were closed, due to construction. They offered the third floor, or higher up floors, because the pool level rooms were located directly under the construction. level. As we walked to the elevator, the noise was so loud/horrific, that I was scared to go on the elevator because I thought we would get trapped up on the floor if something happened . There was Constant, loud, banging due to the construction. The staff said this would be going on all's day, every single day. And, the pool was closed! They did not mentioned this on the phone, they didn't even tell us when we checked in. I asked for a refund , and we left to find another hotel. We will never go back to Casablanca , ever again. They said they'd refunded my card, but the chargers are still pending on my credit card.

It took me a minute or so before I even realized I was talking to an AI - this was the most interactive AI I've encountered to date. Great speaking voice and had zero problems answering several random questions asked in natural language. Really only knew it was an AI when it stuttered on reading back my credit card number. Check in desk staff was super friendly and helpful. We have 2 small dogs so they put us in pet friendly room that was clean with vinyl flooring so any accidents would be easy to clean up. (Not that this is an issue with our dogs but I always question hotels that have carpet in a pet friendly room - like what were you thinking?) Bed was comfy. Water pressure was fine. There was a big dirt lot right next to the rooms where dogs could potty. If I was forced to find a single gripe about this place it would be about the other guests - not the hotel. Rude dudes with big dogs who think leash rules don't apply to them. (Parade your over-compensation around on a leash next time, eh buddy?) I plan on making this place a regular stop in the future. Highly recommend.

I enjoy this place. The only issue, like all of the other reviews, is the service. The entire staff…read moreis really nice - they just haven't been trained properly to provide good service. It's truly an easy fix. When you see a new guest or table sit down, simply acknowledge them. It's not that difficult. Look, we all know you're busy, but it literally takes 2 seconds to say hi, I'll be right with you. And when people ask for a menu, it's a good idea to give them a menu because they probably want to eat. And if you do remember to bring them a menu, it's also a good idea to come back and ask them if they'd like to order any food. Look, we're not launching the space shuttle here. A little common sense goes a long way.

Small dive casino figured I would stop by as I usually love these small local places. It was…read morerelatively hard to find this place as there is little to no signage anywhere indicating that a casino even exists in this building which may end up being a good thing since you're better off driving right past it to the many other superior gaming locations throughout Mesquite. I make no exaggeration when I say this is the worst casino I have ever visited and the worst gaming experience I have had up to this point. Upon entering I immediately felt unwelcome with the locals and staff just staring at me as if I didn't belong there no welcome or even a verbal acknowledgment. I walked up to the bar and greeted the bartender he didn't reply just stared at me and walked away. I sat at one of the bartop machines and was not offered a drink or even acknowledged. I decided to go sit at one of the machines on the floor and play there instead. A worker then approached me and asked if I had ID which was expected and I provided it she then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't have any outside drinks in the casino and to throw away my water which is ridiculous seeing as I wasn't offered any drink at all even though I was actively playing. After I threw away my water she walked away and never spoke with me again. I played a little bit more than left. As far as gaming is concerned these are the worst pay tables I have seen in any gaming bar/casino, everything returning well below 97% for video poker, there are some pay tables that return close to 90% which is so bad you may as well just play a regular slot machine. There is no players club either or any other incentive to play. After talking to locals in other places around Mesquite I heard even more horror stories about this place and how they treat new clientele. Overall a very bad experience in every category would not recommend giving this place your business, the management needs to make some serious changes if they want to continue operating otherwise I look forward to its inevitable closure and acquisition by Dotty's or another gaming operator.
