Went to Eureka tonight for the second time. I was impressed the first time not so much tonight. Excellent service but food wasn't up to par. Burger was cold fries hot, but was so disappointed in my burger. Order medium rare came out like that I guess but no juices in the burger so I'm guessing Frozen patties before cooking. One of the best restaurants in the area. I came on my lunch break for a quick bite and I'll definitely be back! The food was amazing and came out fast. I had the Bison Burger and it was delicious with smoked mozzarella! The craft cocktails were top notch and I can't wait to come back to try the rest. The staff is super friendly and attentive even though you have to order from a QR code which sometimes takes away from the customer service but in this location it was never lacking. We have had mixed review experiences with Eureka (poor service and cold food) but we decided to try it again. We were seated within 10 minutes but it took about 15 minutes to be greeted by our server and to receive the sodas we ordered (mind you, there were 4 other tables other than us so it was not a busy night). Our appetizer was delivered but we had no plates and we had to ask twice for the plates. I ordered a burger medium well. My burger was served medium rare. It took me 8 minutes to flag down our server and I asked the server to please ask the cooks to add more cook time and serve no pink. It took 15 minutes to receive the burger back to my table. The edges were browned but one bite revealed the burger was still medium rare. I could not eat the burger and the rest of the table guests had finished dinner. I did not want to ask my dinner guests to wait while they tried to cook by burger a third time. I asked for a credit on my bill and our server honored my request and she apologized. How difficult is it to get the order right. This is the third time I have had such an experience at Eureka and I have finally learned not to return. I believe the kitchen lacks quality control practices. read more

They were cold unfortunately, the cheese was melted on top of the chips but by the time they were served they were hard and cold. Went for date night. Had the bone marrow burger and the jalapeño egg burger. Also ordered the Brussel sprouts. So the Brussels sprouts were very oily although my husband liked them and wanted more. His bone marrow burger was very tasty but small. Wonderful flavor. The fries were nice and crispy just like he wanted. Now my jalapeño egg burger I was disappointed. The flavor was awesome but but I asked for the egg over easy so the yolk should not have been cooked all the way. Completely disappointing when the egg is part of the burger and I was waiting for that moment for the yolk to run. It didn't. It was completely well done and my burger was warm. Hard not to send back but I liked the flavor so much I ate it. Was very good but when you have this type of burger the egg is meant to also be a part of the experience and it fell short. Service was great but again food was served warm. Not busy was rather early dinner 5:45. Also if you take kids to dinner and they don't behave unless they have a game pad please please remember customers around you. We don't want to hear your kids game being played. My husband and I attempted to have lunch at Eureka. We were greeted at the door with a smile and warm welcome. They were not busy so we were sat instantly. Unfortunately that's where the positive experience ends. Our server came by shortly after we sat down and took our order. We ordered 4 appetizers; truffle fries, Brussel sprouts, chicken nachos, riblets and an old fashioned to drink. The old fashioned came out quickly. The Brussels took about 30 minutes but that's all we received. 1 hour into our dining experience we had yet to receive any of our other ordered items and our server never stopped to check on us. We watched as 4 other parties entered, ordered and received their appetizers and entrés while we waited for ours to arrive. A different person brought our cold riblets to our table and left before my husband or I could say a word. About 5 minutes later our server brings our nachos. By this time we had been sitting for over an hour and were irritated. We asked for the check for the drink Brussels which we picked at. The server said she understood because "the food took a really long time to get to us" we paid the check and left. The Brussels were good but that was it. We won't be returning. read more

I've been to the Cupertino location a lot because I used to live near Main St. That Eureka is right next to a Lazy Dog too. I wonder what's up with that? I ordered a burger for pickup. From what I saw of the inside it is good looking modern restaurant style. The bar was inviting and had an outside portion as well. I give it 4 stars because there is an added fee when ordering online for pickup. I can't recall other restaurants doing this. I ordered the Double Stack burger. The different cheeses gave it a nice flavor and the beef was cooked perfectly. From past experience, I know that the fries are good but this time they were ruined by the dreaded "to go" steam. Eureka will always be a choice for me when considering a restaurant and this time was just another positive experience among many. read more

After driving past P. F. and that other Factory, we decided to go to Roseville's version of Eureka as we have always been pleasantly pleased at Bakersfield and Concord locations! And we were not disappointed. From the beautiful open air type dining room to the friendly help, this place was hitting all the right spots! We enjoyed the orange chili wings and a salad with a tea and it was all delicious and just the right amount to satisfy us! What a wonderful place to have a nice meal. I just found out how honest the manager is as well. My sister went to dinner at Eureka a couple nights ago with my 90 year old parents. My dad has never lost his wallet. Today we found it. It was the manager that said they had it. Besides a great meal, great service they returned dads wallet with cards, cash and ID in tact. 2 stars based on food, however, service is 5 stars from all the staff. Everyone is consistently friendly and not the fake kind of friendly either. I appreciated the service and clean tables. The bathrooms could use a little more upkeep, but it is what it is. I ordered the nachos, Brussel sprouts, Fresno Fig Burger, and Bourbon barrel dessert. The only thing that was somewhat edible was the Brussels Sprouts & burger. No matter what city I'm visiting I will look for a Eureka restaurant because I know the food has always been amazing and I like what I like. I've never been disappointed with the food quality until now, and eating at the Roseville location was new to me. The tortilla chips on the nachos dish was stale, and the chicken was very dry. Only half of the plate/chips were covered with cheese, chicken and avocado, beans, and it barely had any of that with the other side just being stale chips. This kind of defeats the purpose of an actual nacho dish IMO. The Brussel sprouts were covered in a spicy sauce and it was slightly overbearing but still edible. What happened to the dessert??? It's actually better at other Eureka locations like in Oakland and Concord. Why isn't it the same across the board? Does it have to do with demographics? I definitely wouldn't order the dessert again from this location. If it was so bad why didn't I send everything back? Because food gets thrown away and I'm not going to contribute to that waste. read more
