Edmon was hands down the highlight of the night. From the moment we sat down, he had a great attitude and made everyone feel welcome without being over the top. You can tell he actually knows what he's doing behind the bar, every drink came out quick and tasted exactly how it should. What really stood out was how he handled the rush. Even when it got busy, he stayed calm, kept checking in on us, and never made us feel like we were waiting. He's the kind of bartender that keeps the energy up and makes the whole experience better. Would have been a higher rating but no where on the menu online or in door dash did it indicate the normal side of fries that came with my burger were truffle fries. I am allergic to mushrooms so I can't eat fries with truffle oil, so instead of being a burger with fries my takeout dinner ended up just being just a burger. Thankfully I realized the issue before eating the fries, and it doesn't seem like my burger was contaminated. Thankfully my allergy causes a mild reaction, but it could have been very dangerous for someone with an allergy that causes a more serious reaction. I ordered a delightful cocktail while waiting for my food to be ready. I really would have rated this place higher if they had provided accurate information on the menu. We decided to celebrate a birthday with friends there, but unfortunately it turned into a very disappointing experience -- we will never go back. The food was actually good, but the customer service was one of the worst I've ever experienced. We gave them our cake to store in the fridge, and after we finished eating, we were waiting for them to clean the table and bring it out. The staff kept walking past us over and over again and didn't do anything until we finally had to ask. Even then, it took a long time for them to clear the table. Before cleaning anything, they brought us the bill, even though we were not ready to leave -- we were still planning to have our cake. At times, it even felt like the waiters were walking by and laughing at us, which made us very uncomfortable. Later, we wanted to take a few group photos and asked a waitress to help. She took them in about 3 seconds without even asking if we were ready. The women's restroom was also very dirty -- there was rust where you wash your hands, the mirror looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, and there were no paper towels. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. We left feeling disappointed, and I definitely would not recommend this place. read more

UPDATED REVIEW! My husband and I visited Eureka! again to grab a drink and an appetizer before dinner last night. We stopped in for takeout back in 2020 so this was the first time we ever actually dined in. We sat at the bar and ordered a Strawberry Lychee Martini, Old Fashioned and some Fried Pickles to share. I wasn't a big fan of my drink, it was just too sweet for me, but the Fried Pickles were good - not greasy and the perfect amount of crunch. I would order these again! The interior was nice and open - they also had a really nice patio area that was pretty packed at 5:30pm when we got there. They have happy hour until 6pm too! The lunch special was great ($13 for one) for about 5 of their main dishes. My boyfriend got the Eureka! American from it and chose the French fries as the side. Big patties for both of us (I got the Black and Blue) mushroom burger. Service became a bit slow towards the end of the meal (1:40 PM on Friday) but it seemed to be a result of the end of the lunch rush. Staying at the near by Hyatt so walked down here for dinner. The place wasn't very crowded and I was seated quickly. Server was attentive and friendly. The brussel sprouts were really good. Had the El Pastor Tacos with the Mac and cheese balls. 3 good size tacos are on the plate with lots of taco toppings. They were ok. The fish was grilled perfectly but needed some seasoning. Maybe a little bit of salt. The Mac and Cheese balls were a nice flavorful bite. Sat outside on there lovely huge patio. Will definitely come back when staying at this Roseville Hyatt. read more

Recently visited this place for the first time all the way from Pacifica, CA. All I have to say is the food is amazing with good portions and well seasoned. Charley took care of me today and deserves 5 stars for service as it's probably the best I've ever received at a Eureka in the 3 cities I have dined in. The food caught me by surprise as the items are different than others I've been to. Sweet potato fries were cooked well but I'm so used to them having honey every bite felt off without the honey. Decided to give them a try. As we arrive and sat at the bar we immediately were greeted by Jada M. She asked us if we have been here before and we told her that this was our first time. She let us know about the special she had that day and let us know that if we had any questions to let her know. To drink we ordered a beer and Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was really good with just the right amount of spice. For lunch we had a protein bowl and Grilled Chicken wrap. The protein bowl had lots of good flavor to it like avocado, tofu, beans and tomatoes. It was very filling. We've been eating at Eureka for a few years now and it keeps calling me back. The menu is amazing. My favorite is the smash burger and the Mac-n-cheese balls. We went for a late night dinner and grabbed burgers and a salad and this place is pretty neat. The concept is really cool. The indoor/outdoor atmosphere is really nice. Unfortunately it was cold outside so we picked inside and it was a literally freezing in there. My whole family was shivering the whole time so we rushed through eating. The food was alright. I will have to come back when it's warmer so I can give it another try because I was so miserable the first time. Our Valentine's Day dinner plans thwarted and we needed to think quickly as we had a concert later in the evening..Eureka! to the rescue! I walked in and asked the host, Tyler, if there was room to feed two more hungry patrons. Tyler replied, "Absolutely, come right this way." We were thrilled! I've dined at another location in the past but this was my hubby's first time. Indecisive, I asked Tyler to share his favorite apps and tasked are amazing server Lucas, with helping us determine our dinner entree. For apps we enjoyed brussel sprouts and frachos and for dinner we had the Fresno fig medium well. The verdict? 10's across the board! The Brussels were served in a little bath of orange chili sauce that was INcredible. The frachos? OMG! The steak was tender, well seasoned, crispy potatoes with hot, creamy insides, and sauce drizzle and the "bite" from the jalapeno heat? Listen, get there nowwww! The apps were so good we told the patrons next to us (formally our new friends..we are meeting for dinner next month lol) get the Brussels and the Frachos! The Frachos are limited time to again, get there on the asap! The Fresno fig was all the things...check, check, check! Taste, temperature, texture, it's all there! The lovely balance between the fig marmalade and the goat cheese atop a perfectly cooked burger (see the money shot in the pics!), absolutely UHmazing! Sadly (insert tears), the house made "flight" never left the ground. Ginger lime soda, passion fruit lemonade, strawberry limeade, watermelon hibiscus...every single one was tasteless. Our service was so phenomenal I wasn't going to say a word. I mustered up the courage and told Lucas the truth. He quickly removed the drinks and asked the bar to remake them..much to our continued bewilderment the improvement was very mild. I was sad and decided to let it go. Not to be defeated, Lucas insisted we try the peach sweet tea. Same results. By now Lucas and are I besties in my head so I said, "Lucas, I am not a problem child and I don't need you thinking I'm crazy...will you please go try a ample of the tea..I wish I was making this up." Lucas apologized and asked if there was anything else we could do and we told him it's ok. Lucas had gone way beyond delivering consummate; his efforts alone was worth our leaving it be. There was another couple on the patio and us. I used the restroom and a female server brought us water. A group of 3 came in after I had returned from the restroom, were seated, brought their drinks and ordered their food, while the female who brought us our water stayed inside on her phone. We thought after the male server took the party of threes order, he would acknowledge us but didn't. It was after being blatantly ignored in a near empty restaurant , we decided to go to Yard house because their food and service are typically on point...they didn't disappoint. I wanted my first review of 2025 to be good but unfortunately this isn't the case. ...after a quick Yelp search "Sunday Brunch Roseville ", Eureka Restaurant came up. It had above average reviews so I thought "let's try it". The crowd was light and the ambiance was clean upon entering. The host was very welcoming and accommodated us right away. Our server was nice as well. It was the food and drinks that were the most disappointing. One major issue was that they did not have a brunch menu. Eureka only offers two breakfast options. One being a breakfast burrito and another egg meal. Their signature drinks, like the Lavendar Ice Tea and Blueberry Smash (-I think that was the name-mocktail) were gross. They lacked flavor. The Blueberry Smash tasted like a concoction of sugarless seltzer and apple cider vinegar. Out of all four of our meals, the only person that enjoyed their meal was the person that ordered the breakfast burrito and sweet potato fries. There are always many different facets to dinning some can be great while others very poor all at the same restaurant. We were on the patio and I'll tell you when I got up to leave my butt was sore because of the undersized metal chairs with no cushions. The other option on the patio would be wooden picnic tables that looked like you might get a sliver, a far cry from the tables and chairs you could see on the patio of their neighboring restaurant. Felt very cheap, like an area just to save a few bucks. My wife and I each ordered basic hamburgers without cheese, she upgraded her side to sweet potato fries. When the order came out they both had cheese and we reluctantly sent them back but they left the sides and about 10 minutes later we received our burgers. We ordered them medium and my wife's (we can call her Carrie) was perfectly cooked! Mine was a touch over but we both agreed it was a really good hamburger. Her sweet potato fries were as good as any I have tasted, crispy on the outside while moist and flavorful in the middle. My issue was with the drinks or I should say the serving of the drinks. I had an old fashioned and Carrie had wine. It took over 10 minutes to get that first drink and then I ordered a second when I sent the hamburger back. When the new burgers came Carrie ordered a second glass of wine that took over 15 minutes to receive, at this point we were well past eating. The restaurant was only about a quarter full and when we questioned the waiter of the wines whereabouts (which we got up to do) he then went to the bartender who wasn't busy and he came back and said he reminded him. I don't believe the problem was our server simply disorganization. Although we didn't dive very deep into the menu, what we had was quite good, it was the other aspects of the restaurant that were a fail. A while back this used to be my spot. I would come here for a good burger and some appetizers, but this time I was completely disappointed in the level of cleanliness. First, our waitress Marianna was really nice and I want to acknowledge that. But then she went on break and left us with our waiter, Tayezion, who was extremely busy. I do not understand how they could be so busy when the restaurant was absolutely filthy. Employees were going in and out of the kitchen but never doing anything to clean, not even wiping down a table that a family had left over an hour earlier. There was still food on the floor and things left on the table. Trash was all over the ground in the kitchen and the trash bins were full and overflowing. I saw more than six employees walking around doing nothing. At one point, I believe I saw the manager. He had on regular clothes, which is how I could tell he was the manager. He was going in and out of the door and before heading to the patio he grabbed a dirty, wet rag and started cleaning tables with it. It was disgusting. Then it got even worse. A waiter came from the back and dropped a gingerbread ice cube on the ground. He picked it up, walked to the back of the bar to throw it away, and then wiped his hands on his shirt instead of washing his hands. It was unbelievable. I even told a couple sitting in the next booth that they should not eat the food. I was able to get a clear picture of the kitchen and showed them what it looked like. They had just gotten their food, but after seeing the picture they decided to ask for the check and leave. On top of everything, my burger was terrible and cold. I could not even complain because Tayezion was running around trying to keep up. I ordered the bone marrow burger for $22 and it was absolutely not worth it. My husband's burger was tasteless and it did not look like a $19 burger at all. I am extremely disappointed that I ate there. I believe in paying for my food, but I did not tip this time. I normally would, but this was unacceptable. I will never be back. Please do not eat at this restaurant. read more

We came into Eureka and overall it was a mixed visit. The fried pickles were okay, nothing too special and could have been a little crispier + the dip was not very impressive. The cheeseburger itself was good but the fries were a letdown this time as they came out cold which was surprising since they are usually hot, crispy, and really good. The mac and cheese balls stole the show as always. Perfectly crispy, cheesy and the ranch dip is amazing!! They never disappoint! The kids cheeseburger was straightforward and exactly what you would expect. Service, however, really stood out today in not the best way. The host was friendly and welcoming but our waitress seemed distracted and a bit unprepared. She forgot my drink and even my daughter's meal which set things back and when the food finally did come out there was no effort to check in or make things right. It almost felt like she was either new or just not very attentive. I do love the outside seating and this is one of my regular spots but today felt a bit lazy compared to the usual standard. We were in the Sacramento/Roseville area for a weekend volleyball tournament. Had to make the drive up with Friday traffic from the bay area with RV in tow and wanted to find a decent place that offered my son some great food, but me too with gluten free/ vegetarian offerings. Eureka came up nearby and looked at the menu and was excited to try. We drove up, it looked really busy outside and thought we'd go over to Lazy Dog that had a half empty patio (as I literally just made a comment wishing there was a Lazy Dog). As we got closer to Lazy Dog, it looked like it was set up for a big party and went back across the street to Eureka. SO SO happy we did! There was actually room at a table outdoors or indoors. We opted for indoors and AC after our 3.5 hour drive in traffic and left to nice outdoor space for someone else. We were happy to be seated right away. For the rare few like myself with chemical sensitivities, sitting indoors was pleasurable. No bleach affecting our space, high ceilings with lots of ventilation left no lingering fragrances from nearby tables and all staff were fragrance free which made for a most enjoyable experience I don't get elsewhere with this disability. My son ordered the BBQ bacon burger with some mac n cheese balls (he wished he had more) and I had the Crispy Veggie Beet burger. He gobbled his food down so fast and said it was so much better than Lazy Dog. I too, was happy with the gluten free bun ($3 extra) that was light with slight crisp and actually tasted good, but oh my, that beet burger with the slight crisp too it has to be my all time favorite veggie burger. It was moist, yet crisp, and flavored so you didn't need condiments if you didn't want them. They didn't have grand marnier so no cadillac margarita, but the spa day margarita was interesting. First sip, no, too much cucumber, but got a straw and then tried it and actually enjoyed it as it wasn't as sweet as most and then ordered another. Service was on par! Luka was great and attentive. He answered all my random gluten free questions as well as others about the restaurant. Appreciated him being attentive and there when needed but not over checking on us. Absolutely perfect service and much appreciated. I hope someday they open one closer to us than Berkeley in the bay area. The tri-valley would LOVE this. Any visit to Eureka is a good time! This spot is even better than what we're used to with SoCal Eurekas. Good mix of indoor and outdoor seating, with convenient heating lamps and classy fire pits to keep outdoor patrons warm and cozy. Service is excellent, staff is friendly, place is clean and kept tidy, food (as expected) is tasty with delicious burgers made to order, and plenty of parking out front. My wife won this round - her Fresno Fig burger was the winner of our meal by far. I had the Eureka! American burger which always hit the spot, but Fresno Fig was hands down better (dependent on personal preference, of course). Daughter had a BBQ Bacon burger which was also fantastic. Drinks are plentiful and best part I love about their outdoor seating is that TVs from inside are visible so you can still enjoy sport events while enjoying the weather! This Eureka location holds up to its high standards that we're used to compared to multiple Eureka! locations in SoCal. Craving a mouth watering burger?
