The service was great, especially considering the size of our group. We ordered the fried pickles, burgers, chicken wings, and the ribeye, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Be careful!!! The service is terrible; there aren't enough waiters. I've never had to wait 40 minutes just for water and a menu before. We waited a long time for our food, and it arrived cold--and tasted awful! When we asked for the bill, we had to wait even longer; we had to ask the manager, who was just sitting there, and he was the one who brought it to us! As soon as we stepped out the door, a waiter ran up accusing us of not paying the bill--it was absolute madness. They are clearly understaffed; the employees can't even handle five tables. The food is bland and overpriced for the quality. The menu never changes and is the same thing they had when I last went 2 years ago. The service is average at best. They are not friendly and take a long time to come back to your table. Beware if you sit outside. There are flies everywhere, and even with the restaurant's fly deterrents, they constantly landed on our food and even ended up dead in our drinks. It made the meal very unpleasant. So not only do you have to fight off flies now you have to make sure to hit your hands on their fly deterrent. If you want to sit inside you will have to deal with the loud people drinking at the bar. We thought that we would try one more time but after tonight we see that nothing has changed. We came before noon for lunch on a Friday. A good amount of people were there, but we were seated with no wait. The restaurant is sizable with large windows. There is a dining area with tables & just chairs, or tables with chairs & cushioned bench seating. There is also a nice bar area & a large outdoor dining space. Kids Burger Meal with added cheddar & apple juice (which came in a lidded cup)--The kids burger was sizable & cheesy. Something that I rarely face as an issue, but that stood out, were the mechanics of eating my meatballs. The utensils had long, heavy handles & the meatballs came in a dish that barely accommodated the amount of food. The dish was also served on a small platter that didn't leave much exposed plate. So it was hard to negotiate my initial bites without overflowing & it was an exercise in physics to balance my utensils to rest on my dishes. With family and wanted to swing by this establishment for the first time for a birthday lunch. Arriving around 1PM, we were seated immediately. The establishment had nice decor and felt very welcoming. I didn't realize this until before leaving, but the bartender came in and took our order and swung by from time to time to chat which was much appreciated (I thought he was our server). We went with the ahi poke nachos, fettucine alfredo with chicken, grilled chicken pesto sandwich and meatballs. We all approve! I really enjoyed the fettucine alfredo. Although the prices were a little on the high side, the servings were fairly large. The only observation I did have with the ahi poke nachos was although it was very delicious, it felt like there wasn't enough of the ahi tuna. What a gem - stumbled on this place when roaming the new 'hoods that have been popping up all over Roseville. Lovely ambiance inside, lots of natural light, very cozy bar. The smaller footprint ensures you're always able to get an assist from the wait staff, and the menu has lots of variety. Love the creative cocktails too. Kitchen 747 was recommended to me by two different people at two different establishments, so my expectations were high. Overall, IMO, Kitchen 747 was just average. Parking was challenging, as the lot seems to be undersized for for the number of establishments it serves and how busy it is. I was fortunate enough to get the last parking space when I arrived. There are EV chargers, and one had an ICE vehicle parked there. Seating is remarkably uncomfortable (metal stools), but the interior is modern and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food was nothing noteworthy. Perhaps it was the specific dish I chose, but flavors were muted and bland, and the chicken was overcooked. If you're in the neighborhood, it's worth stopping in, but I'd not recommend making a specific trip. read more

We went to Kitchen 747 before going to a comedy show at Thunder Valley. We didn't want to go to eat at the Casino, so this looked liked a good compromise. As we approached the restaurant, the parking lot was quite full,this being Friday night, I finally found parking near a park a short drive away. Even thought the restaurant seemed quite full, we got a table right away. The staff came right up to greet us and we both decided to get the same dish, the Beef Stroganoff. The beef was tender and the sauce, just like my mother used to make for Sunday dinner. I also got the house Margarita which was also spicy with just the right amount of tequila. This is a very family friendly restaurant with a number of families with kids in tow. Next time I am in Roseville I will make it a point to stop by Kitchen747 again. read more

Just don't seem very attentive, or maybe they choose who they want to be more attentive to? As far as the food...hit & miss. We visit 747 often as we live in the neighborhood. Last night the food just completely missed the mark. 3 stars because the service at the bar was prompt, friendly and the drinks were good. First off- the Caesar salad was actually pretty bad, the dressing was watered down and didn't represent what a "Caesar" dressing truly is. The salad itself self didn't resemble a Caesar salad. I added grilled chicken and was choking it down it was so terribly dried out and awful seasoning- not anything I'd want to eat by itself let alone on a Caesar salad. I'm not sure who decided "this is a great salad, let's put it on the menu." Seriously please reconsider how this salad is done. My boyfriend's French fries were also soggy. Like he said last night, the quality has declined. Hopefully this review is truly considered as we love coming to 747 but if the food quality doesn't get better we will only spend money on drinks here. read more

It's not a place I'd want to stay to hangout. Temperature inside was OK at least and they did offer some outdoor seating options. Food was OK, but it was small portion sizes and overly salty. The menu is somewhat uppity, trying to cater to more "in-style" food rather than casual. However, the food itself was not impressive to match that vibe. Ingredients were standard but not that fresh or great quality. As stated it was super salty too. Service was meh. No one was super friendly or attentive, but they were a little chatty trying to make small talk with us. No one was that attentive or went above-and-beyond or anything. It was someone in our party's birthday which multiple people included the owner asked us about as they saw a gift bag at the table; however, they didn't do or offer anything for said birthday. We love Kitchen747 in my family because it's close to home, has a friendly neighborhood pub vibe and because of the soft pretzels and beer cheese! We usually get 2-3 of those because my kids love it. I've tried pretty much all of their menu and everything is delicious. Standouts are the brussel sprouts, any pizza really, meatballs, garlic Parmesan fries, and the steak salad. Any item that has Parmesan cheese is literally covered in cheese. For a cheese lover like me, I'm in heaven! I also love their seasonal menus to shake things up. Cocktails are also very good and strong. In the summer, the outdoor patio is packed but a perfect spot to watch the kids run around. My fiance and I come here often. We love the food, drinks, and ambience. The only thing that has turned us away is the fact we get ignored while sitting outside. We always verify with our server if we are able to bring our drinks out and sit by the fire pit. The last 3 times we have come, the server has served the other fire pit, and completely ignored us. This has resulted in us leaving on a few occasions due to the poor service outside. We made a trip to Kitchen 747 tonight. It wasn't too crowded, and we got seated right away. We asked for a booth, and they were able to make it happen, which earned some points right off the bat. We weren't super hungry but wanted a little something, so we ordered the Garlic Fries and the Hawaiian Poke Nachos. Both came out pretty quick. The Garlic Fries were really good -- nice crunch and a strong fresh garlic flavor. The Poke Nachos were just okay. The wontons were a bit burnt, and the fish didn't taste very fresh. The sauce was good, but the portion of poke felt small, especially for $28. The fries were $15, which seems to be part of that West Roseville tax since there's not much else around here. They have a lot more items on menu that I'd be interested in trying, but I have to be selective because of the cost of everything. $20+ for a burger is steep. Service was fine. Our server was busy but still friendly and got everything out to us without any issues. As a Black woman, I left this establishment feeling singled out, humiliated, and genuinely uncomfortable by the way staff handled our table. My friend, a Caucasian man, arrived already visibly intoxicated. He was loud, obnoxious, and continued to be served drinks by the bar staff without issue. Throughout the night, our group was laughing, joking, and socializing loudly, and no one from management or staff had a problem with our behavior. The bartender helping us, Carie, appeared visibly irritated by my friend's behavior throughout the night. Despite that, he continued being served. However, once our third friend left and I became more passionate while speaking during conversation, the atmosphere completely shifted. I was not intoxicated, slurring, stumbling, or causing a disturbance. Meanwhile, the visibly drunk person at the table was still being accommodated. After we ordered food and requested to-go drinks, Carie agreed to make them, disappeared for nearly 20 minutes, and then management suddenly approached us saying we were being "cut off." The timing felt incredibly selective and uncomfortable. The only real change in the interaction was that I, the only Black woman in the establishment, had become more vocal in conversation. What upset me most was the inconsistency. My intoxicated white friend was treated with patience and tolerance all night, while I felt immediately scrutinized once I began expressing myself more openly. Whether intentional or not, the situation came across as racially biased and left me feeling profiled and unwelcome. I fully understand bars have the right to refuse service, but policies should be enforced fairly across all customers -- not selectively based on who staff feel comfortable with. No woman of color should walk away from an establishment feeling targeted simply for existing confidently in a space where others were behaving far more disruptively without consequence. I hope management genuinely reflects on this experience and provides better staff training surrounding bias, consistency, and respectful treatment of all patrons. I wasn't expecting a spacious interior and more outdoor seating being that this restaurant was located at Roseville's West Park. Our large party of 35 was situated in an enclosed private space. Drinks were ordered and served as the guests trickled in. Food was served in chafing dishes. Charcuterie boards were our starters with garlic parmesan fries, meatballs and wings. The warmers were then cleared and replaced when we were ready for the entrees of Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower Parmesan, Peach Salad, Maple Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon, Penne Pesto Chicken and of course pizzas for the kids We liked the food, I had a couple of decent cocktails. They were to full capacity on a Friday night but we had our own designated staff so there were no lags in service.
