I have now been to the new location of Euro Pizza Cafe three times. I had stopped going for a little while because they were in the process of moving into a smaller space. However, the smaller space doesn't say anything about the excellent quality of the The staff is very friendly. I have now tried their codfish with avocado wrap, which was to die for. I have now had several of their specialty pizzas and the crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are quirky, but extremely delicious. There are several more than I want to try as well as perhaps some of the salads. And they still have the Mediterranean veggies, although they've just changed the name and when you do order them, definitely get it with the gyro meat. read more

We were passing through Fountain City and needed some lunch. Stopped here because it was different than a sports bar or grill. Mixed food reviews. I had the roasted Mediterranean vegetable entree and my companion had a sandwich and fries. My entree was great - balsamic glaze and feta cheese. It had an ordinary side salad and they brought out a couple little garlic crescent rolls. Tasted good but pretty heavy. My companion's sandwich was ok. Heavy on the raw onions but otherwise fine. Her fries were disappointing and very much over cooked. The service was good and it was a bit noisy but the restaurant can't help that. read more

Superb food terrible service Euro Pizza Café -- Great Food, But Service Must Improve We've been loyal Euro Pizza Café customers for years because the food is consistently excellent. At the new location, the pizza and spaghetti Bolognese were delicious as always -- fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The bright, airy atmosphere has real potential to make this a neighborhood favorite. Unfortunately, the service fell far short. After being seated, we waited far too long for our order to be taken. A simple salad took ages to arrive, and our garlic bread never came at all -- even after I reminded the waitress twice. Only when presenting the bill did she admit it had been burned twice. Water glasses were never refilled, Parmesan cheese had to be hunted down, and overall the service was slow and inattentive. It's clear the restaurant is understaffed and that the service systems aren't functioning properly. Loyal customers like us want to see this new location succeed, but that will only happen if staffing is increased, service training is improved, and mistakes are addressed with a sincere apology. Consistency in service matters just as much as consistency in food -- and when things go wrong, a genuine, timely apology can turn a bad experience into a forgivable one. They have finished moving to their new location. We have been going to Euro Cafe for 6 years. Always great food and service. Menu appears a little smaller than before, prices are up... but food and service is still pretty good. Marita, the owner, is still working out the kinks. A group of 15 or so of us stopped here after a Concert at the Fountain Hills Community center. They were very accommodating and the service was very good, especially for a group this size. And not only did they provide separate checks, they did not add an automatic gratuity like most places do with a group of this size. Great restaurant and we want to support their move a few doors down...and we did today. Unfortunately with the new location the outside is no longer available so all those patrons are now indoors...GREAT for Euro Cafe but not good for folks that don't hear so well. The real issue is the interior is all hard surfaces but if the ceiling had sound absorbing tiles to soften sound--it would probably resolve it--without any sound softening I can't enjoy eating here....sadly. We've been regulars at Euro Cafe for and typically meet here every Sunday. Unfortunately, today's experience crossed the line from inconsistent service into outright unacceptable. We were seated after multiple parties who arrived later, and several tables that came in after us had their orders taken and food delivered before ours. When our food finally arrived, nearly everything was wrong: two chicken salads arrived with no chicken, a vegetarian calzone came out with ham, and a side of bread we ordered never arrived at all. Service expectations were also extremely low--refills and payment required going to the bar ourselves. Aside from the front host, staff responsiveness and accountability were severely lacking. The difference in how our party was treated compared to others was noticeable and concerning. At minimum, the service was dismissive and inequitable. Regardless of the cause, this was not the level of treatment any customer should receive. We will be finding a new weekly gathering place. This location has lost our business. read more

The good: great patio with a view of the pond and fountain. Plenty of outdoor space and a playground if you have kids and want them to be able to play. Server was very nice and helpful. The less good: we knew that the pizzas aren't real crispy so we ordered it well-done. It did not come out well-done. It was very mushy. We also added gyro meat to one of our pizzas that doesn't have meat, they forgot to put it on. We also asked for it to be cut in squares, it came out in slices. Also the Beer selection is pretty meat and potatoes. Just lagers like big light and a few IPAs. Nothing too compelling. The bad: the table was so wobbly that the pizza almost wobbled off the riser on multiple occasions. Conclusion: wasn't the greatest meal but it could have been an off-night with the kitchen. I'd probably come back again and give them another shot. If/when I do that I'll update my review. read more

We are regulars to Euro Cafe. We tried out the new space last Saturday and though everything is new and clean, and service is good as always, however we were disappointed with the food. The menu has been cut down so some old favorites are gone and prices have gone up. The breakfast potatoes used to be so good and homemade, but they have been substituted with what seemed to be frozen diced potatoes without the onions and peppers and were too dry to eat. When I commented to the servers she agreed they were not as good but I could ask to add the onions and peppers for an extra fee. No thanks. $40 already for basic eggs, bacon and toast, Also, they have lost their wonderful patio spaces and view of the fountain. My understanding is they had to move and another restaurant (Streets of NY) is moving into their old space, but this was a local favorite to enjoy and it isn't the same. I do hope they do well. It would be a shame to lose them completely but if it wasnt broken, don't ruin it by changing what customers go there for. Also,Fountain hills did not need another Pizza/Italian restaurant in the same close location. There will be three now practically side by side. read more

My wife and I came with friends for lunch after a band concert. We were seated outside where there is a lovely view of the Fountain Hills Lake. My wife ordered the Chicken salad and iced tea. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries and coffee. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our group of about 15. Our food came very quickly and looked great. My wife was slightly disappointed with her salad, but my sandwich and fries were done perfectly. Loved it. Had a very nice time here and the view of the lake is great. The service people are always on their toes, and their friendliness is welcomed after some bad experiences here in Fountain hills. I have mixed feelings about this place. It has nice outside seating with an awesome view of the fountain and lake, and the kids in our party were able to run off and play at the park while we were waiting for our food to arrive. It had delicious (and beautiful) hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream. I ordered a tasty yogurt parfait, which was very good. Some of the other food, though, wasn't great. My waffle arrived overcooked, and last time we ate here, a year ago, I remember the pizza being not the best. I was also disappointed by the choices, as they didn't have the type of drink I wanted and the only pastry they had was a blueberry muffin. The worse part is the black fence out back so patrons can't see the park and there's no outside seating. The salad was nothing special, but the veggies were fresh and good! My pasta was so good, I loved the vodka sauce! It was reminiscent of an old favorite pasta I used to get at Fresh and Easy, haha. I've been going to Euro pizza for years, but I'm done. Ordered a pizza to go and it was a cheese less dry disaster. This is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes they are good and other times not. They have slowly declined. I called the restaurant to complain and was told to call back in 15 minutes to speak with the manager. She was unwilling to compensate and told me her supervisor would call me the next day. Guess what, no call. I understand there are ups and downs but this is unacceptable. This is one of our go-to spots in town for a number of reasons. First, the food. The menu contains a good variety but not so many choices that you can't decide. Everything I have eaten here has been excellent. Second, the service. The service here is very good even during peak season when all of our winter visitors are here. The ambience is "neighborhood restaurant": a bit noisy inside, but comfortable with the air conditioning, or quiet outside and warm, even when the misters are working. This place makes great pizza, as the name would suggest, and also many other dishes, including my personal favorite, Linguini with clam sauce. This is, a great place to bring friends, but also a nice place to eat with your sweetheart. If you live in the Fountain Hills area and haven't tried this place yet, you're definitely missing out! read more

Came here at night to watch the fountain. We were only going to get hot beverages yet got some food too. I got the gyro soup and sandwich. My friend got the Hercules pizza which looked amazing. I also got hot cocoa which was cold cocoa yet replaced right away. The soup was good and did taste like gyro. The sandwich was served cold and it was ok. When I heated it, it tasted much better. Been going to other breakfast joints these past 3 years and never really cared for either one. Finally found this place. What a delight! Nice breakfast menu. I had the breakfast pizza with added avocado. Super yummy and more than enough trust I took home half of it. My husband had the breakfast club on sourdough with potatoes on the size. Nice portions of meat with egg. My father in law had the Greek omelette and he says it was once of the best he ever had. The service was on point and such a nice view of the fountain park with outside seating available. I think we found a lovely place to have breakfast after Sunday church. read more
