I have an older European car and didn't want to have to go to the dealer to see a huge service bill. The staff was awesome. They offered me food, a joint, a small horse, and seemed genuinely interested in my feelings and emotions. Must be a euro car thing. Price was lower than expected. I paid for my oil change and service with a nice list of upcoming maintenance repairs. It's not even Christmas! These guys are good! My new go to place when I'm curious about a price or want to tackle big repair jobs in bite size bits. 10/10 read more

I took my Bmw E92 M3 for inspection after buying it pre-owned to find out for any leaks and general check up. I told them that I saw possible leak on the oil drain plug. Report showed leaking drain plug and needs new rear brakes and differential service. I let them replace the drain plug and differential service. When I got home, I still noticed oil leaks. I paid another shop for inspection ( bmw specialist) They found leaks on the air separator and oil filter housing. I had leaks resolved at the same shop. They also showed the error ( ghost code for the alternator) which they cleared. Did not get any obd testing result from Euro car masters. I am just disappointed for Euro car masters did not do a thorough inspection. I feel like they are more focused on replacing brakes, oil change and regular maintenance. I live near the shop but won't go back there anymore. read more

Brought my Chrysler 2007 Van back in 2020 when the name was Don & Harold and as of recently had quite a lot of work done on my Van as I have had in the past. I continue to be amazed on their work ethics and very clean shop area. Moving forward the name has changed to Euro Car Masters and some people have retired and left. There were changes that were made but Dora who sits in the front office has remained and she is the sweetest and knows the business very well and is as helpful as can be. There is a new comer by the name of Brenden who also knows the business very well and not only does he sit in the front office also but is hands on in the service area as well. Very honest and he also explains plus shows you the problems but lets you make the decision on what you want done with your vehicle. Not pushy and I appreciate that so much. Even though the name of the company has changed the business and people are the best and I have never had any problems! I recommend Euro Car Masters 100% for any of your vehicle problems. This is for ECM#2 on wardlow, very poor communication, took car in for diagnostic on transmission. After over one month I know know my tires are old and my washer fluid reservoir has a cracked (other items noted) but $200 (diagnostic charge) later I have no idea what's up with my transmission. I never got an actual call back so I went over and picked up my car. When I dropped off I expressed concerns about the ability to work on older vehicles, I was told it would not be a problem. Edit: I originally posted this review for the location on 3925 E. Broadway (owned by the same company Don & Harold's Car Care). The above post was how it was originally posted stating that it was for the wardlow location. Rather than reach out to make things right or address my concerns they had my review removed. While I understand that it was posted on the Broadway location site It is the same company and a service advisor from the Broadway location answered some of my questions about progress on my vehicle, when the service advisor for the Wardlow location was out sick.... If I talked to both locations and received poor customer service from both shouldn't the review apply to both locations? read more

Awesome customer service by Jacob and his team. They'll take pictures to show you what needs replacing. They were very timely and real about how fast they could get to my car. Dropped off my car there early and I was able to get a quote for my tires, brakes, and air conditioning to be fix and/or replaced, I got my car back by lunchtime and they even provide free shuttle lifts back home if you need it. read more

I hate writing bad reviews and prefer to give a business a chance to right a wrong but I have to be honest about my experiences with a person at this establishment. My recent experience was with Sal he's a fast talker and gets really annoyed whenever I asked questions he's condescending and quick to be annoyed mildly seething with anger whenever is asked questions in my opinion - stating over and over let me explain this to you so you'll understand in a slick way or saying mam you don't have too repair your car it's your choice - I tried to be light hearted when talking to him because I still needed to ask questions but he doesn't listen well he's condescending and aggressive. Sal in my opinion talks as slick as a snake oil salesman he speaks double speak quoting a repair fee that was almost 1,900 to halfway repair my car - plus an additional $90 diagnosis it again and he told me that the cost to repair whatever that is could be upwards of 4-5,000 after consulting my family I decided against repairs. When I picked up my car he didn't acknowledge me when I saw him in the office. Jason and Don who previously handle past repairs spoke clearly truthfully and plain in my opinion more importantly I didn't feel intimidated or taken advantage of. I'm going to buy another car and move on from the used car drama. read more

Shady as hell! Told me they would diagnose the problem with my car for $145. Called me back telling they couldn't find the problem yet so now they need to charge me an additional $145 for more diagnosis. Nowhere on the contract did it say anything about a second hour of diagnostics would be another $145. I don't have a problem paying for any services provided in a professional manner. But to not tell someone it could cost as much as $300 if they can't find the problem in the first hour is a shady practice. I wouldn't be on here giving a 1 Star review if they were simply upfront with me about charges! read more

My car broke down in Mexico and had it fixed in Mexico. I wanted to make sure my suv was safe and reliable. Don and Harold' s auto checked the timing chain and engine and made necessary repairs that could not be done in Mexico. They were courtesy, fast, responsive, informative and reliable. A huge sigh of relief after hearing my suv was safe to drive! I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them because they are trustworthy. I would give this place a 0. I HATE them!!! I took my car in for a radiator problem, cost $700.00, drove my car 40 miles and my radiator hose blew! This put me and my car in DANGER!! Went back, thinking they would make it right..nope...charged be $1,400 to fix their mistake. Stay away everyone; especially single females. They will rake you over the coals... I came to Don and Harold's today to replace a brake light that had gone out. I chose to go to dons because I had been towed here twice by AAA and been very warmly received. Jason said it would take a little while so I walked to a coffee shop, got a call maybe 45 minutes later, then came back. He told me the fixed the light no problem, but that there was a nail in one of my tires. He told me to head to Performance Plus on Cherry and Carson, and said no to worry about payment! I'm so grateful to Jason for the easy fix and sending me to Performance Plus, where they were equally as helpful and kind. I'm in awe of the generosity of local Long Beach businesses. read more

In the past I have had no problems with this company. And would have recommended them. Unfortunately, when my drivers side electric window would not go up all the time I took it in for repair. They repaired it, but found additional issues with my car. I approved the repairs. Very costly. A couple of days later, my window started doing exactly what it did prior to taking the car in. I contacted the manager, Sal. After a lengthy rather heated conversation, he reluctantly told me to bring it in.
