DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS!…read more I took my car there because my power steering fluid was leaking. I had them do a diagnostic to find out where the leak was. They told me that I had to replace the pump and the rack & pinion because they claimed that's where the leak was. It would've cost me $2400. It didn't sit right with me so I told them I would think about it and took my car, and paid for the inspection fee they failed to mentioned! I was surprised by that, but I paid it regardless. I took my car to another mechanic my friend recommended to get a second opinion. It turns out, the leak was happening at the hoses and I only needed to replace that! I was so glad I took it to another mechanic. These guys at AutoMed are liars and crooks. They insisted it was the pump and rack & pinion when it was the hose that needed replacing. Never going to them again. It surprises me how these guys managed to get over 4 star rating.

They added a $200 alignment charge without calling to let me know, something any reputable shop should do before adding services. The total came to $650. Despite that experience, I decided to give them another chance when it came time to replace my other two tires. This time, I called around for pricing and asked if they could match a quote of $318 for tire replacement, or $418 if alignment was needed. They agreed. Again it took twice as long as they told me, and when I picked up my car I was told the alignment was fine - yet they still charged me the extra $100 for an "alignment check." When I questioned it, they said, "It's a good thing, you want us to check alignment." So apparently they charge $100 just to confirm nothing needed to be done. Between the lack of communication, inconsistent pricing, and shady billing practices, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone. I will not be giving them another chance.

This is a father-and-son-owned shop, and you can tell they take pride in doing things the right way. The photos I've posted show the old exhaust parts that were cut and removed, the replacement components, and the finished install underneath the vehicle. Everything was fitted cleanly and solidly--no shortcuts, no sloppy work. They replaced my muffler and repaired the damaged section from the theft in just a little over an hour, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The car sounds right, drives smoothly, and feels properly repaired--not patched together. What I appreciated most was their honesty and efficiency. They explained what needed to be done, got straight to work, and delivered exactly what they promised. In a time when catalytic converter theft is unfortunately common, it's a relief to find a shop you can trust. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Overall it was a bust and repairing it wasn't worth it but I appreciated the honesty and thorough evaluation. The garage itself has access through the alley, street entrance is pretty busy. We communicated via text and phone but during drop off and pick up the main guy wasn't around. He shares the garage with someone else and that person helped us when the main guy wasn't there (sorry I can't remember his name). Overall a good experience despite the fact that my car is officially dead!

Let me paint the picture: (Been meaning to post this but forgot) My wife and I were planning on spending the week of Christmas in Las Vegas and I needed to get an alignment before hitting the road... sounds simple right? Well not in my case. See my Tesla Model S is lowered and I had gone to 2 other shops earlier that day who keep in mind told me they could help. Oh, also note I took time off from work as well because this was a priority. Anyway both shops rejected my car because the sensors mount on the edge of the tires and there's not enough room for the sensors to clear the wheel wells. Also to note, I sent them pics of my car so they could clearly see how low my car is. IMO they should have shown the pics to the mechanics to confirm. Typical sales rep not knowing anything about cars. In comes Super Auto Stop... the name says it all! I sent them the exact same info and pics using Yelp. They told me, yes, we can do it. I asked twice just to confirm given my earlier 2 experiences and they confirmed again. Thankfully they had an opening which I took full advantage of. When I arrived they immediately took care of me. Got the car on the rack and went to work taking extra care the entire time. I was in and out in under 90 minutes. Great price and to be honest, this was one of the best wheel alignments I've had. I'll be back soon! Super job guys!!

The woman who helped me that morning was stood behind the main desk and clocked eyes w me as I started coming in from the man door. In that moment, she decided to leave out of the back door. No greeting, no hospitality, just left. So I sat for around 5 minutes. She came back with a man I hadn't met yet and he greeted me while she ignored me and I watched as she grabbed her belongings, avoiding eye contact the whole time and acting like I was invisible. She tried to leave before I addressed her. she was forced to let me know she's going on break. Aha! Why would I give money to a company who treats their clientele like they're an inconvenience ? He told me this check up could technically take days. This wasn't told to me that morning and you'd think that piece of information is important. I took my car and a receipt to prove they did nothing on it and happy to take business elsewhere - somewhere where they take better care of their customers.

He was able to get me in quickly, and within a few hours he called with the best news I could have hoped for. The control arms didn't NEED to be replaced. They were able to carefully bend them back into position and Josh told me that's what he would have done on his own vehicle. The total bill for inspecting the car and making the repair was only a couple hundred bucks Finding an honest mechanic can feel impossible these days, but Josh earned my trust. He is knowledgeable, straightforward, and isn't interested in selling repairs that aren't actually needed. You hear stories all the time about repair shops taking advantage of customers and my experience with Haus was the exact opposite. I can't tell you how relieved I was after getting that phone call. Everything was done well, and they did a routine inspection as well to point out other general maintenance issues that needed to be addressed in the future. I was curious as to how bad the bearings had become, and the mechanic happily brought out the old ones to show my how badly they were grinding. All quoted part and labor prices were very fair, and I was also impressed by the generous warranty period their offer on their work. I'm overall very pleased and am planning on coming back for jobs I don't want to do myself.
