My 2001 Pontiac Aztek had a check engine light that kept coming on. They told me all the problems it could be and prioritized it by likelihood and price. They went down the list and addressed each one. The final one was a bad valve and they replaced it but the check engine still did not go off. Instead of charging me for it, they took it out and returned it and didn't even charge me the labor cost. They got my car fixed multiple times in the past but at this point it's just too old and they advised me to not put any more money into it. I trust them with my car and know that they won't take advantage of my lack of knowledge about car issues. I highly recommend First Auto and will always use them for any issues with my new car.

The only business they do is predatory. I was visiting my mother on Dec 23, and my stay ran longer, so we filled out the parking permit and put it on the windshield (more on this later). At my mother's condominium complex, you have to ensure we put a permit out there by 9 pm. When we went out there we noticed that there was already somebody there sitting in a car like they were waiting to check cars. However, it should not have mattered because we filled out the permit and put it on the windshield. So we completed our stay and low and behold are car was towed. When contacting the Alpha Carrier they stated that it was towed because there was no address on the permit. I have attached the parking permit as you can see there is an address of the condominium complex the location states Building C or Location C. They claimed that I needed to put the address in the location section. The location section and the address are 2 different things and there is no way that a full address would fit on that line. Earlier I stated that I put it in the windshield, this is for a reason. A few months ago my niece came to visit her grandmother with her 3 grandkids in a minivan. Guess what? They towed her too. There excuse for this one was that it the permit was put on the dashboard and not the windshield. Where it could be blown off by the wind and exposed to the elements. Needless to say the stranded a mother and her 3 children under the age of 4 in the middle of the night. One of her older kids who understood what was going on had a meltdown, because he was worried about how he was going to get back home. Could you imagine this happening in front of an 81-year-old grandmother? There was nothing wrong with her permit either. I would try to get a copy of that permit, however, on top of the $520 she paid to get her van. They wanted to charge her an additional $5 for a copy of it. I made sure to get a copy when I was towed. Would also want to add what happened when I went to this "auto shop" or whatever they want to call themselves. First of all there is blacked-out window where you cannot see who you are talking to as if that is not shady. They pass everything under the window and speak through a microphone and have all sorts of surveillance. I know they are going to say its about their safety. However, I am pretty sure its because of the shady practices they are doing. They are afraid someone is going to get really upset one day and shoot them up. After I paid for my car they did not give me my receipt right away. Luckily I remembered to come back for it. At this time, I asked for a copy of the permit and he told me it would be $5 and tried to dissuade me from getting it. Told some excuse about having the invoice and that should be enough. I called the ICC and will be filing a complaint and see what can be done. I will be sharing this everywhere I can. This is and update to the response from the owner. There is nothing inaccurate in what I stated. There are no additional specific instructions on what is the "location". There is a C marking the location as far as we understood. It takes away from any additional space needed to put any additional address information. I would also like to add that the car was parked in the are marked for visitors. The is predatory. You know better.

I had been told by another mechanic that my alternator was shot and I'd need a new one. The crook wanted to charge me $3200, which I found ridiculous. I couldn't have paid that much anyway. So I brought the car home and it sat out all winter (five months). It was completely dead and wouldn't start. I finally had it towed to T&A to have them take a look at it. Tim called me the next day and said, "I can't find anything wrong with the car, except your battery was about drained" (this "brand new" battery had been installed by the precious crook at Midas, as replacement under warranty). The battery may have been an old dusty one that had been sitting on the shelf for a few years. Tim completely charged the battery, then would not let me pay him one cent. I'm an older lady and we are targets for auto repair scammers. I'm so grateful to know that I can trust Tim to be honest and fair.

I looked at my mechanic and asked him if he could check my car code ...no issues from him ,he grab his machine and hooked it up I had 3 codes. He also took it for a drive (and of course ) nothing happened when we went for a ride. He said I could bring it back anytime and he would take care of me. I was in a dilemma and needed some bodywork done on my vehicle but was unsure of exactly what all…read morework would actually need to be done so I made a post on yelp looking for a shop to do the repairs. Boltz Automotive read my post and reached out to me letting me know what time and day they would be available to look at my vehicle and do a diagnostic on my vehicle for $150 and let me know exactly what work needed to be done and the $150 would go towards the repairs if I decided to have service completed through them. I would say within 24 hours of making the appointment for the diagnostic to be performed on my car and actually bringing it into the shop to be serviced. My car was complete and ready to drive again. I am very satisfied with the work that was performed on my vehicle. The staff at the shop is also all very friendly. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend the shop to everyone with any car issues. The price I paid was amazing and I'm a super happy customer.
