I've been taking my 2008 TT to Eurofed since I bought it used. Can't say enough good things about these guys. I plan on keeping my car for the long haul and they have been super helpful in keeping it maintained and explaining all the mechanical things to me. I think some things I could find another mechanic to do for less money but they really know what they are doing with Audi's and they have the whole service history on file. Being new to owning a European car I was a bit anxious about finding a reliable mechanic outside of the dealer. I did a bit of research and stumbled upon this shop 5 mins from my house in south austin. What a solid shop all around. My spidey senses did not go off when talking with Jared & Evan... both good, honest, straightforward people. Brought in my Ftype for rear diff fluid service and they were 100 bucks cheaper than the dealership and had my vehicle finished by noon. I also love the software platform they use to send you pictures/updates of the work as it's being completed. There are automotive shops, and then there are places where you can rest easy knowing your car is with a friend... Moved from Dallas with a very active Audi/VW scene, and plenty of shops to choose from, and landed in Austin with lots of ALL IN ONE shops that claim they can do maintenance but have no certified techs... Enter Eurofed. Evan, Jared and their crew are upbeat, positive, friendly and know their stuff. They are wiling to help, be fair with pricing and communicate any issues, time constraints, and or progress they make on the vehicle while it is in their possession. Best aspect is they recommend items for maintenance instead of trying to get you while they already have the car. They communicate would should happen, and at within what time as to not cause any further damage, but ultimately leave it to the owner of the vehicle to make the decision. Thats class. They aren't pushy. Can't say enough time things about these guys. Car people can sometimes be overbearing and have expectations of enthusiast owners to drop thousands on repairs and upgrades, but Eurofed is here for what YOU need. EuroFed performed a pre-purchase inspection for me on a 2019 VW Atlas and discovered an issue that could have been very dangerous had it gone unnoticed. I even called the shop on the day of my purchase to ask for some advice, and I just so happened to speak with the owner of the shop who took time out of their busy day to offer some support. Took my Audi A5 to have the check engine light diagnosed. After the car being there for two days, got uploaded photos that CV boot needed repair, and ALL the brakes and rotors and an estimate of close to 3k, but no mention of the check engine light. Now, this being my third Audi in 20 years, and therefor having some knowledge of these cars, I found this a bit curious. I went to pick up the car and began to question the break repair. I mentioned that the brake light didn't come on, nor were the sensors indicating a brake issue. The gentleman behind the counter, sensed that I knew that they were not being up front and asked me what year my car was. I told him 2014, and his answer was that Audi removed that feature in 2014. Really?!?! Audi just happened to remove a very common safety feature in that exact year?!?! So he followed one lie with another. I then asked about the check engine light, the reason for me taking my car to them, and he said they didn't pick up anything. Again, you're telling me a mechanic shop's code reader couldn't diagnose the check engine light when my $30 Autozone code reader did?!? Final red flag for me. I took my car to another mechanic with a recommendation from a friend that also owns an Audi. Now, I'm not one to push other's service, so all I'll say is I got good honest service...oh, and my brakes were fine-shocker! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU DON'T HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT YOUR CAR. I recently brought my Audi S3 here to have some mods done. I looked into a few other places before choosing them, but they are definitely the best option if you're looking to upgrade your car or even get routine maintenance without having to deal with the dealership. They were extremely knowledgeable about the different parts, brands, and what to start with for my build. They are very upfront too about pricing, and don't hide things from you or charge you unnecessary fees. I price checked all the parts I bought through them online straight from manufacturer and 3rd party sites, and they don't upcharge anything. Everything came out to exactly how much I had gone in expecting to pay. They were very quick about getting the job done, so you are not having to play the phone tag game about when your car will be ready like I usually do with the dealership I had been going to. Customer service is unmatched compared to other shops I looked into in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Cibolo. 100% recommend them, and will be going back anytime I want more work done on my car.
