    (SS) Video of antifreeze leaking
    Valeria G.

I will NEVER return to this place!!! (Full of Rats) I took my car for an oil change on a Wednesday 3rd, all normal as always every time I had taken it with them, the problem started days later when Sunday March 7th night I used my car for some errands and on my way to my home, my car was overheating (the engine) and once upon a reviewing it, I realize that it doesn't have a drop of antifreeze, so I waited to the next morning Monday March 8th to put antifreeze fluid on it and the car starts to spill everything (attached video). I decided to take it back to this place for a diagnosis, I left it there all morning and Monday afternoon, later on I receive a call from Chris telling me that a hose is damaged and it needs to be replaced, the total cost of "this work" is $673.11 as indicated on the receipt (highlighted in orange) I wondered why that price was so high so I decided to tow my car out of there since I couldn't drive it without a drop of antifreeze (this would further damage the engine and make things worse) and take it with someone else of my confidence and expert on this kind of cars and the diagnosis of this new person was totally different since it indicates that the hose was simply disconnected and didn't need replacement because it was in good condition, obviously the cost of this was much cheaper and without need of extra charges for new parts, it should be noted that this new person tells me that it is something very strange and unlikely that specifically that hose would come loose by itself. What makes me think these people from the "European motorwerks" wanted to take advantage of me by not being very expert on this and get extra money to make this movement of disconnecting the hose and having to go back to them for a "false" diagnosis and see me forced to leave the car under repair with them because I couldn't take it somewhere else and because they believed that I was going to stay like this with crossed arms and just let them steal that money from me. LAST THING! Yo can see this is my first review 'cause I'm not a believer of this stuff or of lost my time with this BUT in this case I did take my time cause to me this was bullshit

If you have a manual transmission, I strongly recommend taking your car somewhere else…read more I paid over $2,000 for a clutch replacement, and instead of fixing my car, I ended up with a whole new list of problems. First, the repair took about a week. I understand this was a couple of weeks before Christmas (last year), and shops can be short staffed or dealing with employees being out sick. What I don't understand is why I had to call every single day just to get an update. Communication throughout the entire process was almost nonexistent. The day I picked up my car, I noticed a strong burning oil smell just before I got home. I immediately turned around and drove back to the shop, where they discovered they had forgotten to reinstall a transmission seal. As a result, transmission fluid had leaked all over my exhaust. When I got home, I checked the transmission fluid myself and found it was nearly empty. Running a manual transmission that low on fluid can cause serious and potentially permanent damage. I took the car to another shop to have the fluid topped off, and they also discovered that Eagle Transmission had forgotten to reinstall one of the exhaust bolts that had been removed during the clutch job. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there... I began experiencing hydraulic issues with the clutch and returned to speak with the owner, Scott. I explained my concerns, including the fact that the transmission had never been properly refilled after they corrected the leak. Rather than addressing the workmanship, Scott's response was, "Your transmission is a piece of sh*t. It has spray paint on it, which means it's from a junkyard. You need a transmission rebuild, and that'll cost you another $2,000." If that were true, and my transmission was in such poor condition, you would think they would have mentioned it before installing the new clutch instead of after I returned with problems. To make matters even more concerning, Scott didn't even know where the transmission dipstick was while we were discussing the fluid level. I was so frustrated and insulted, I had to walk out. After receiving advice with another Eagle Transmission location in Cedar Park and doing some research, I returned a few days later and simply asked Scott if they could bleed the clutch hydraulic system. Even after our debate I offered to pay for the service, but he flat out refused. I'm a very patient individual and rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an automotive repair shop. Between the lack of communication, careless workmanship, missing hardware, a transmission left nearly empty of fluid, and the way my concerns were completely dismissed, I cannot recommend this location to anyone... especially if you own a manual transmission vehicle. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid the frustration, wasted time, and unnecessary expense that I went through.

I left my car about 2 days this was in March and then I picked it up, they told me they fixed the leak, that the smell of oil would linger until the car had burned the oil that spilled down, I drove my car, and consistently saw leaks and smelled oil, I thought it was my AC water in the floor, I worked from home so I don't drive my car a lot, come July and the oil change light came on, it has never come on before, even when I had not changed my oil.. I took it to Excalibur for the oil change, I made an appt for 8AM as reccomended by the front desk guy James - I get there at 8, I greet him, he looks at me, doesn't greet me, no answer, he looks miserable, he just barks at me "last name?" I give him my last name, they take my car, I sit and wait. Another lady comes in and he's all the sudden all smiley and nice.. when my car is done. He barks at me that my car is done.. I go to pay, he tells me my car is leaking oil.. and that I could have blown the motor.. I tell him that I thought they had fixed that 3 months ago.. he looks surprised back tracks and says oh it's probably not the same leak.. the leak probably went to another weak spot- but to bring the car in again and they look at it- I do... he calls me and tells me that it's a different leak- I ask him that why didn't they fix it back then - he says my car is old, he tells me it's "100% on you" that I didn't call them sooner - James was super rude and standing behind subpar lazy service- he wanted to charge me upwards of $400 to fix the leak - I said no, took it to my other mechanic- my other mechanic said that the leak was visible and that they had only changed the top part and not the actual main leak on the car - never going back there again, James if you don't want to be professional and patient, even my boyfriend that doesn't know you said you were super rude to him when he went to drop of my car - just save everyone the agony of your services. I knew I wasn't gonna get my money back and I wouldn't trust my car back in their hands.. never again..

The entire process I'm told, "tt great thing about Aamco is, if the transmission goes bad, in any way, we'll fix it free!" I mean, what piece of mind! Right? Well, 2 weeks after they rebuilt my transmission, my motor mount broke. They had "nothing to do w that happening", even though they found a bad trans mount and replaced that. Forgot to check the other mount? No, denied the warranty. Sooooo, I get the motor mount fixed and not 2 weeks later, my Honda w a NEWLY rebuilt transmission wouldn't shift into 4th gear. So I brought it back to my local Aamco and was told my radiator was bad and it ruined my brand new transmission in 6 weeks. They denied my warranty again .
