The yellow engine warning light appeared on my 2011 BMW 528i in early January 2025. EuroFix…read morediagnostics claimed it needed an R&R MAP THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLY that would cost $980. Also, unrelated, a battery replacement for $470. Additionally, evidently, my car was leaking oil on top and below. News to me as I never saw any oil stains on my driveway. $4,360 for that repair (the undercarriage leak required 13 hours of labor). Top it off with brake fluid flush, engine air filter and cabin air filter, total estimate was just over $6,400. I opted to get only the oil changed for $150. In early March, a half dozen different warnings consistently appeared on the driver screen and the front left headlight did not work. I took it to EuroFix and was informed that it needed HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES for $8,300. Also, FRONT BRAKES for $790. They maintained that my battery needed to be changed as it wasn't charging. Finally, SOD PROGRAMMING for $250. All in, an additional $9,340. I opted out as I wouldn't be able to sell my car for more than $6K with no issues. I was pulled over twice for the headlight being out so called EuroFix to see if there was a way to replace the bulb. Once there, I was told that I had a healthy battery (I kid you not), and the entire headlight assembly needed to be replaced. He said that condensation in the front headlight well was leaking into the modules causing all of the electrical issues. I took my car to a reputable battery store, and they tested mine. Less than 5% power, so I guess EuroFix was originally correct on that (but for some reason said it was now healthy). I paid $150 for the battery as opposed to the $470 EuroFix was going to charge. More details involved, but I used YouTube. I used a hairdryer to get rid of the condensation. The engine light hasn't reappeared, and the other 6 warning signals slowly stopped. I purchased a headlight bulb, removed my front tire and was able to access the broken bulb through a portal after removing the round cap under the wheel well flap. a half hour later, the headlight worked and still works. Car runs great! I think EuroFix is good for those folks who have newer models that still have a high value. I realize that EuroFix must adhere to strict BMW specs and protocol. In my case, my car was fully paid for back in 2013. Two lessons I learned. Never buy a BMW again and use aftermarket channels to fix any issues that arise. EuroFix's prices are outrageously high.

I asked him if I could see the part number for the alternator to verify, and he said he does not share part information. I paid my diagnosis fee, and they said they were going to keep my keys until the tow got there, but reluctantly gave them to me after I would not leave without my keys. I got my car towed to Firestone, and they fixed it for $950. Even with another tow, I still paid less than what they quoted me. Brent up-charged me $600 and could not back up any of the information. My car, that I have had for a year to 14-months was making a rattling sound - that's it nothing more or nothing less. My late father was a mechanic so I do keep up with maintenance on my vehicle. Due to me not having a ride I had to sit in the establishment to wait for my service to be completed and as I waited I witnessed the owner conversing with his employees about the customers. I'm assuming these were regulars because of how comfortable with each other saying certain things but as soon as they left he made the statement "That's why I do not like black people" and Primm is an African American man. I should have known then that this business looks as people as just a source of income (mainly elderly people or women he assumes has no automotive sense) After getting told the results of my diagnostic I was quoted with a job to fix it of $1300 to fix a water pump and timing belt so roughly $1100 in labor for a part that costs no more than $200. After I declined due to the (what I believe) unjust price I paid $108 for my diagnostic and was given my car back. I am writing this review in my car that just received back and my vehicle is somehow low on oil (never had any leakage whatsoever). My cars RPM is jumping to 4, idling heavy, and I cannot accelerate and the response I was given was that my car's performance just so happened to decrease after letting them look at it and as they told me before to get it fixed or my cars engine will fail soon. If you are a native of Nashville - this business is the Car Concepts of automotive repair/service. They asked for my permission before proceeding and took the time to walk me through why the repair was necessary and important. I even did a little research while we were talking and quickly realized they weren't exaggerating or trying to upsell me. They do charge a service fee upfront, but it's very reasonable, and they're completely transparent about it. I made an appointment, and they were able to get me in and out the very same day. Overall, I was impressed and excited to find a mechanic I trust and feel comfortable going to; especially since they're within walking distance of my home.

Having just moved to Nashville, I was looking for a trusted mechanic to keep my 2003 Audi Cabriolet alive and well. In LA, I had a mechanic for years who was always clear about what truly needed to be done now, what could wait, and what wasn't worth spending money on yet. That trust meant I almost always approved his recommendations. Eurwerks seemed like the kind of place where I could build that same relationship. They're family-owned, specialize in European cars, and had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, the experience felt much more business-first than customer-first. Before the appointment, I was told diagnosis would be around $200. After waiting weeks, dropping off the car, and getting into a Lyft home, I learned within minutes that it would actually be roughly double. The final diagnostic cost was $436.81 with no repair work performed. The next day, I received more than $10,000 in recommended repairs. An older Audi needs maintenance. That was never the issue. What bothered me was feeling like nearly everything became another charge. A small example: dirty air filters were inspected and photographed, then put back together and quoted as additional repairs. I eventually replaced those myself. After paying more than $400 just for diagnosis, that kind of thing made the experience feel transactional rather than relationship-driven. On top of that, there were two Lyft rides, lost time, and a significant amount of research on my part just to understand the recommendations. In the end, I decided I needed a second opinion before spending that kind of money. The other shop did not charge for the inspection and came back with a much narrower and more reasonable recommendation. They also identified four new tires as a key need related to the driving issue I had originally described. To be fair, speaking directly with the technician was the strongest part of the Eurwerks experience. I was able to ask questions about why certain repairs were recommended and what could wait, and I do believe the technicians know these cars and likely do good work. The customer management and billing side is where the experience broke down for me. I felt pressured to make decisions before I had enough time to understand a $10,000+ repair recommendation, and at one point the customer-service side stepped in because the conversation with the technician was taking too long. For a decision that large, that did not feel customer-first. Specialty European repair is expensive. I understand that. What I was looking for was transparency, fair value, and a shop that felt interested in earning a long-term customer. Unfortunately, Eurwerks did not earn my trust, and I won't return.
