The yellow engine warning light appeared on my 2011 BMW 528i in early January 2025. EuroFix diagnostics claimed it needed an R&R MAP THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLY that would cost $980. Also, unrelated, a battery replacement for $470. Additionally, evidently, my car was leaking oil on top and below. News to me as I never saw any oil stains on my driveway. $4,360 for that repair (the undercarriage leak required 13 hours of labor). Top it off with brake fluid flush, engine air filter and cabin air filter, total estimate was just over $6,400. I opted to get only the oil changed for $150. In early March, a half dozen different warnings consistently appeared on the driver screen and the front left headlight did not work. I took it to EuroFix and was informed that it needed HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES for $8,300. Also, FRONT BRAKES for $790. They maintained that my battery needed to be changed as it wasn't charging. Finally, SOD PROGRAMMING for $250. All in, an additional $9,340. I opted out as I wouldn't be able to sell my car for more than $6K with no issues. I was pulled over twice for the headlight being out so called EuroFix to see if there was a way to replace the bulb. Once there, I was told that I had a healthy battery (I kid you not), and the entire headlight assembly needed to be replaced. He said that condensation in the front headlight well was leaking into the modules causing all of the electrical issues. I took my car to a reputable battery store, and they tested mine. Less than 5% power, so I guess EuroFix was originally correct on that (but for some reason said it was now healthy). I paid $150 for the battery as opposed to the $470 EuroFix was going to charge. More details involved, but I used YouTube. I used a hairdryer to get rid of the condensation. The engine light hasn't reappeared, and the other 6 warning signals slowly stopped. I purchased a headlight bulb, removed my front tire and was able to access the broken bulb through a portal after removing the round cap under the wheel well flap. a half hour later, the headlight worked and still works. Car runs great! I think EuroFix is good for those folks who have newer models that still have a high value. I realize that EuroFix must adhere to strict BMW specs and protocol. In my case, my car was fully paid for back in 2013. Two lessons I learned. Never buy a BMW again and use aftermarket channels to fix any issues that arise. I'm a first time eurofix customer and I will never go back. I dropped my Land Rover off to have the door fixed. When I came back to pick it up my windshield was cracked. No explanation no nothing. I inquired about it. The guy "checked the cameras". That was all I got. I Didn't drop it off this way. So now I have to pay for yet another service. We have an Audi and ever since the dealer told us they had no availability for 3 months, we have been taking the car to EuroFix for everything....maintenance and repairs. They recently had to replace the coolant expansion tan k, radiator fan assembly and leak detection pump. They did it in a few days since some parts were not available locally. We got the car back and started getting the low coolant warning again a few days later. I called EuroFix and they asked a few questions to see what was going on. They towed the car back to prevent any further damage and really struggled to find the leak. They tested to car for days until the leak finally showed itself.... the hose to the expansion tank was leaking, but only under full load, a 6+ hour pressure test couldn't get it to leak. They repaired it and got us the car back. We feel like they truly cared and worked hard to find the cause. They also had given us a loaner so we wouldn't be without a car for long. I'm writing on behalf of my husband. Our first visit years ago was great which is why we kept going back. But we won't return. We have an audi s5 manual 6 speed and we took our trust to eurofix. The first repair, the tech did not re-engage the emergency break properly and my husband's car stopped in the middle of the road (major safety hazard). After taking it back, received an apology (yeah, thanks). Again our fault for returning. The next thing was radiator thermostat was replaced with a faulty one which they had to redo. Now, the $400+ upcharge after ordering the wrong clutch hose and returning the car with a check engine light on that wasn't on when it was dropped off and a very dirty car that was not cleaned as promised. And never apologized for the extremely poor service to very loyal, reference giving, good customers. read more

I took my BMW X5 to Eurofix on July 10, 2020 and advised them that the car was having issues with acceleration. They called us and said that the heater valve was malfunctioning. We questioned how these two things are related and was asured that they were. I go to pick up my car on July 14, 2020, paid $500 and start accelerating just a few minutes down the road...same issue. We call them back and they advise us to bring the car back for further diagnosis. At this point I am confused as to how they tested an acceleration issue without driving the car but I took it back expecting them to have integrity and maybe this was somehow an oversight. After a couple of days of testing they stated that the vacuum hose was faulty and needed to be replaced. Now here it is July 20, 2020 and we have been informed that this still did not fix the problem. This was another $700. I would advise not to take your BMW there, maybe they can properly diagnose other foreign cars but my experience with them was an epic fail. They seemed to "fix" everything except what I brought it to them for. If you do go here make sure to get a WRITTEN ESTIMATE. My BMW X5 was making noises so I took it to Eurofix. I knew going into my purchase that BMW's cost more to work on and expected that. WARNING TO SINGLE WOMEN - Do not trust this repair shop. They strung me along for a year on a car that should have been totaled. The first charge was over 5k, 2 weeks later, it breaks down again, I'm stranded, I pay for another repair, a couple of months later, the warning light comes on, I take it in, They "assumed" I had added oil to the coolant, (even though I told them I hadn't) drained it, and said it was fine. This was important as I had a road trip. Of course, on this road trip, my car breaks down on the Interstate at night. Oil was spewing out of the coolant. I accrued an extra $500 in expenses for towing, hotel, and rental car. I contacted the manager when I got back into town and explained the situation. I sent him the video of the oil spewing out of the coolant. He said he would contact the towing company that had the car then contact me with next steps. I assumed he had integrity and would do what he said. I never heard from him. I contacted him the following week. He had not reached out to the tow company. He refused to do anything to help even though Eurofix's faulty diagnosis left me stranded in a dangerous area. At this point he knew, there was no more money he could make off of me. So, he just left me hanging....while my bill was increasing at the Tow company. Ladies - DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE ONLY OUT TO MAKE MONEY. I brought my Audi A4 in for an oil change and an inspection since the car was telling me an inspection was due. After they looked at my car they said I need new brake since they were showing at the minimum allowance by Audi specs. They also said my rotors need replacing as well. When asked for the specs on the rotors they said they didn't measure and always change out the rotors when doing the brakes. I called Audi to make sure this was the case and they said only if they fall below the specs. They also were way over charging for a air filter change. I would go somewhere else if you need work done on your car. They also overfilled my oil the first time I brought my car in. Don't let the professional dress code there fool you that they are not professional its just a façade. I would look into going else where or even the dealership since believe it or not they were more honest. read more

The couch that's in the waiting room clearly has never been cleaned because the arm rest gave me a fungal infection. I found a cigarette bud in the grill of my car; and the small touches like a paper mat to show they cared for your car is no longer. Took my car in for brake service. They messaged me midday stating I needed new brakes, which I new hence why I took it in. They never told me until I asked when the work would be done that it wouldn't be completed until afternoon the following day. Called the following day in the afternoon and was told it would be completed by end of the day. Communication was poor, cost was mediocre. Per their radio add they give courtesy cars, which is not true. They never offered. read more

Took my car to get the AC compressor fixed, which they did. Cost more than I was expecting, but them's the breaks I suppose. Six months later the AC is busted. Eurofix has a three year warranty, so they say, so I take it in to get it fixed. They "can't figure out the problem," so I leave my car there for a week. And, wouldn't you imagine, it's not the compressor! It's something else, not covered by the warranty! This seems odd, so I take it to another mechanic who figures out it's a bad compressor, replaces it, and the car is good to go. Flash forward a year, and now eurofix is texting me asking me to come back. I don't know what line I signed on to agree to be bothered by a business, but I suppose they must be desperate to get people back in their shop. tl;dr take your car here if you want to pay too much for repairs they don't stand behind and then get bothered via text to come back read more

I unfortunately took my BMW Z4 in for a starting issue. They replaced the starter for over $700, to find the issue 150, replaced the negative battery cable for over 100, and charged for a shim that wasn't even in my car. The day we were to pick up my car, they decided I needed a new battery for 277, since the tech I believe stripped the top battery terminal. That would be a no, since they tested the battery and it had the correct voltage. As far as the negative battery cable, they replaced it knowing that the post was stripped and they simply had to get the correct end to make sure the connection was tight. Now I am playing the fun game of "will my car start?" Well, it did not start today and a few times after paying this rip off shop almost 1200. I do not recommend this place to anyone, they seem incompetent to work on bmws. read more

I took my 2005 Mercedes CLK 500 into Eurofix for some much needed repairs. They put on new valve cover gaskets and the serpentine belt. Nothing on a Mercedes is cheap, but I felt like I got a good value for the work being done. The location and people are wonderful and very helpful. Most of all, the mechanics are very knowledgeable. My mechanic was Tony and he was good to work with. He took me under the car and we looked at what the issues were and the recommended courses of action. I didn't get all the work done the car needed, but I will definitely use Eurofix again when that time comes. They also washed my car before I picked it up, which was a nice little bonus. read more

1. Last oil change NO fluids were checked or topped. I called and she said bring it back! 2. Went in for my steering wheel shaking when I was driving when I hit my breaks and I mentioned it was probably my breaks. Tech showed me the Right Tie Rod was loose and said this was the fix. I paid $889 for the repair but as soon as I hit I-65N my steering wheel immediately starting shaking again so the Tie Rod was NOT the fix. Sales Rep. mentioned the Tie Rod was a SAFETY ISSUE and the "obvious" repair. After taking a ride with me the Tech said he initially experienced shaking upon ramping up to speed. I mentioned this was NOTHING I experienced only the shaking when breaking so now they are saying I need brakes and rotors for +$770 WITHOUT putting my car on a lift and making an inspection. I spoke to a professional and he mentioned they should have checked the Tie Rod and Breaks at the same and not make an assumption of one issue 3. EuroFix Two strikes you are OUT!!!! read more

Eurofix does excellent work, and friendly staff, they work promptly, and even offer a free rental car. They are very knowledgeable especially about older European cars. However, several of their jobs are extremely overpriced. For example, $190.00 for a thermostat...a thermostat cost $15.00 and it is literally a 15 minute job on my car. If you want the job done right and have plenty of cash to throw around, take your European car to Eurofix. But it would be smart to know what a job is worth before having them do the work, and see if it's worth the extra money. read more

Lets just start with the line our guy said to us as we came to pick up our car: "I know coming here and spending money on your car is never fun, but we hope you had a great experience." That pretty much sums it up. Forget stealerships, if you have a European car you know how expensive they can be to fix, these guys/gals are specialists in specific makes and can identify some problems without charging you for diagnostics and then tell you how much it will cost before they do it. My girlfriend took her Mini Countryman in and they sorted out the problem before even having to run diagnostics. The dealership wanted to charge us $120 just for looking at it. They were very nice, explained everything very simply and didnt try to pressure us into any repairs that weren't needed. Id trust them with my kid if I had any (that I know of). A+++++++ read more

I am shocked by the awesome reviews of this place. The shop I normally take my car to came up with a diagnosis, but suggested I go to the Mercedes dealership for a second opinion. They did not feel comfortable going any further with my car knowing that there might be a cheaper way to fix the problem. I fully appreciated their honesty and called the Mercedes dealership. They were booked for an entire week so I called Eurofix. The employees here are friendly and seemed knowledgeable. My husband felt comfortable leaving my car here after being told the diagnosis would be no charge. We received a call that they would actually have to charge $350 for a diagnosis because they wanted to make sure they found the full problem for the check engine light. My husband asked if this diagnosis charge would be applied to the balance of the repair. He was told no, it would be in addition to repair costs. This sounded ridiculous to me so I took it to Mercedes. They figured out the problem in a few minutes and fixed the problems my car was having for $300 total. I give 2 stars simply because the people here are friendly, but being friendly won't get me to come back. Sadly, I'd rather stick with the dealership. I don't know what I wouldve been charged in the end, but with such a huge diagnostic fee, I'm glad I didn't stick around to find out. read more

Oh where to start... I took my BMW for a valve cover gasket and engine oil filter housing. At first everything was great. They gave me a loaner car and I was on my way. The issues: 1) I was supposed to pick up Friday and I called right before they close and a man told me that they broke a sensor and they'll need to keep it till Monday to fix it. 2) After I got off the phone I saw a text I missed saying they needed to keep it till Monday but no mention of a broken sensor which made me think that if I hadn't called they wouldn't have told me about breaking a sensor. 3) I came to finally pick up my car and the amount is more than what I had been told. She said the other lady probably told me the amount prior to taxes. When someone calls to get an updated amount right before they come to get their car it's common sense that they're asking with taxes...I let it go and just paid 4) Got into my car and a service light was on...they said uhh we can reset it or you can come back to get it serviced. If a service light went off during their care I should've received a call. 5) After she had already taken the loaner car back and said I was good to go she asked me if I had a dog in the car. I told her no and she said well theres dog hair all over the back seat. (I don't even have a dog) so I let her know the walk through around before I took the car did not include looking inside the car. I asked for a print out of ALL service done not just service I paid for and went on my way. But no thank you I will not be coming back to get it serviced. read more

I had to update my review. First visit was good but 2nd not so much. My first visit EF does an inspection and shares that I have a power steering pump leak that would cost nearly 1k to fix and so I went with it. This was after taking my car in to do a routine service. Fast forward a few months later I'm back doing the basic oil change. Dropped off the car at 8 in the morning.i asked if I can get picked up from work to get my car when done as well. I get a call about 5 hours after drop off that now my power steering cables are leaking. But this time I declined the service and in return the person sounded a bit shock and rude that I was declining.. "like really?" But hey that could have been my interpretation. So now 5pm I get a call that my car is done and I asked if I could get a ride. They said their shuttle stops running at 5, my response was that's fine can I get picked up first thing in the am. The gentleman said sure we run at 7:15 and I'll call you on the morning. Morning comes 7:45 no call. So I called them, "oh sorry traffic" but we can head your way. Btw I have a job I have to be at and I know that's not their responsibility but I was hoping they'd be on time. The shuttle calls me just to verify my house number. And I said it's correct. He said he's 10 mins out. Later calling to say he's in my drive way, I look out and told him I do t see a car. He said your at........ right? I said house number is right street is wrong. His response was oops what's your street. I told him and he said GPS has him 45 mins away. At this rate I can't wait. Long story short. I had to find other means and another time to get my car. No apology nothing. Prob my 2nd and last time going. Sorry EF you're making it tough to come back. read more

My son has a 2000 red Mercedes CLK320, which he loves. The top stopped working, and I took it to Eurofix, as I've had good results taking my Porsche there. It was a very complex problem involving a proprietary hydraulic pump system in a difficult location. There are no after-market parts available for this. The Mercedes price was exorbitant, and so Eurofix found someone who would rebuild the pump at about half the price. These guys are experts. The give you options, and they are easy to work with. And, their prices are very fair, given the complex vehicles they service. Very, very happy here. read more

EuroFix does quality work. Full stop. You will pay more here than you can at other European car repair shops but you get what you pay for. I have had my car serviced at Hallmark Volkswagen and they did shoddy work on more than one occasion. EuroFix, on the other hand, has always done quality work.
