It was out first time in Rome and we had to find a hotel which is close to bus stops and has restaurants close to it. Eurostars ended up being the best place as we found a lot of restaurants which is a street away and literally 1 minute walk from our hotel.
We were also given a free upgrade to a Junior suite when we checked in because we requested for a "single" bed and not two double beds that are joined together. We told the receptionist that it was out honeymoon too so she gladly checked the availability and gave us a free upgrade.
I am not giving the other star though because the breakfast buffet for 12 euros was not worth it. The food tasted mediocre and the pastries were not a hit for us too. You will be surprised with the quantity though because there are a lot of choices of bread, cheeses and meat.
We were overall happy with our stay. read more
Nice clean and quiet hotel 20 minutes by bus outside of Rome center. We paid only 350€ for four nights including a very decent breakfast that lasted almost till dinner because of the heat in July (38 C)
The hotel is rated 4 stars, but in Scandinavian it would be a 3 star hotel. Still it is a very nice hotel with working air conditioning and a nice bathroom with spa in the tub :) read more
