Never thought I would review a grocery store, but here I am reviewing one…read more Anyway this like your normal grocery store. For those not in the area it's like a Tom Thumb. Which I think owns Acme. I think this because the store brand name of Signature Select is the same as Tom Thumb's/Albertsons. Like I was saying it has lots of fresh fruits, veggies, pasta, dairy, lunch meats and anything you need to cook a meal for yourself or others. The people who helped me out at the deli, seafood and cashiers were all very nice. I will shop here again when I need to, instead of paying lots more money to eat out. Lastly, they don't sell booze here. Which is state thing I suppose. Which is ok because there is a beer/wine/liquor store across the street. Overall a great place to go grocery shopping.

I probably could've stopped at some large grocery store on the way down but I didn't. I was wrangling kids and trying to make the last few business calls so I could shut my phone off for a measly few hours and enjoy the surf here in Wildwood, New Jersey. Instead of patronizing the many restaurants, delis, snack shack's and other food establishments, I decided to stop here and load up on some supplies so we could have breakfast in our room and make lunch for the beach. I was not disappointed. Acme is your standard small grocery store. Prices are higher, of course, because we are here at the beach. I'm sure that I could've driven 20 minutes away to someplace in Rio Grande but I would've just spent that same amount in gas and time. The store was clean and well organized and had everything I needed. My cashier Cassie was a delight to talk with at the time of checkout. Thankfully, acme takes credit cards and you should bear that in mind because many, many places in Wildwood are cash only. One small issue, no paper bags available. Like many grocery stores, acme has gone to recyclable only. Back home, I can pay for a paper bags if I forget my stash of recyclable ones. Here, it's by the bags or rows. They were kind of cool looking with some nice floral and fruit designs so I added to my list. In the future, make sure you've got a bunch of recyclable bags in your trunk.

Usually grabbing Sizzli sandwiches. This trip they didn't have my pork roll on a bagel so I ordered from the kiosk. A egg, bacon, cheese with hot honey on a bagel. The bagel was soft. That's the end of the positives. The american cheese was blackened and the egg too in some spots. Hot honey barely there. This sandwich had the potential to be life changing. The self serve iced coffee always out. I love Wawa but please get your act together.

OK, so, it must be said that I recommend pretty much every and all Wawas. As a company, as a whole,…read moreI have been a lover of Wawa, since I was 10 years old. They started off as dinky little convenience, stores that soon turned into a staple of life. From their 24 hour availability, convenience, gas availability, Sandwiches, and coffee... You cannot go wrong at Wawa This location was something new and something different for me. Still highly recommend, by different I mean the design and the atmosphere. This was a Wawa in a shore town. Wildwood, New Jersey. It was so incredibly busy and so packed that it was difficult to maneuver through the store. It's very much part of the day that I went, and I am aware of that, so this is not their problem at all. Everything was perfect. The food, coffee, customer service, all of it maintained the level of perfection I come to expect from a Wawa. Every trip east, I make must include a Wawa. I have to stop at one or I get very upset lol.
