Some things I had repaired were new tires and wheels, a new battery, and a new instrument panel, the backlighting of which is a common failure to this model. They had no way to know. Also I noticed a small hole in the floorboard between the seat and the brake pedal, not really a big deal. But for what I paid I think I got a bargain. The engine and transmission, which are most important, are like new (knocks on wood) and very strong, along with the brakes which were done just before I bought the car.

First and foremost, Matt knows his stuff and when I brought him the opportunity to sell my baby, a 2004 VW R32 with 60k miles on it, he knew exactly what to do to market the car and create interest for my vehicle. After a very easy consignment discussion, I dropped my car off with him and it was literally sold that weekend. Being that the car was very special to me, I wanted to ensure that the next buyer would be passionate about caring for the car and Matt brought the right guy to the table and he bought the car as soon as he saw it. The experience was incredibly easy and Matt did a great job or marketing my car to the kind of buyer that I really wanted to sell it to. In my opinion there is no more customer friendly auto dealer in the Seattle area that also has such a humongous knowledge of specialty German autos that he sells. I will use Matt in the future whenever I sell another car and have already recommended him to multiple friends that are trying to sell their own cars. Also, Matt has been helping me look for the perfect E30 M3 for some time and we are still looking, but in the last few years he has put more than 10 options in front of me, all of which were great options, but not the correct car for me. Matt and I are continuing to search and like I previously stated, I don't think there is a more knowledgable person when it comes to finding the right car for his customers and letting them know everything about the particular car that he is selling or about to acquire for his business. Honesty is something that is almost impossible to come by in the search for a used car but Matt is a full disclosure kind of guy and that is why I know that he'll get me the right car soon. The owners (brothers) are down to earth, honest, and have low overhead so you get a very fair deal. Last year, we drove around all weekend to 6+ dealerships and other lots, and didn't get as good a vibe as we did here (also, other places had really high prices). Fast forward a year: she loves her car, no problems at all, and I'm back to get one for myself. Today I just picked up a Toyota Matrix XR, and again after looking I could find one in similar condition for the price. Just save yourself some trouble and get a car here! I know that used car dealerships can get a bum rap, but Cars To Go is legit, and I only wish I found them sooner. I don't rate things on Yelp often, but made an exception because I didn't want other people to overlook this place.

Recently, I took the car to our mechanic to give it the once-over, and he reported it to be in excellent condition, just as QAC had said. No issues other than what one expects from a 10-year old car, and nothing that couldn't be addressed within the next year or so. The team at QAC was extremely helpful, friendly and professional, forthright about costs and budgets, and very flexible in working with us to come to a deal. I purchased a used 2018 Toyota Highlander from this dealership and within the first two weeks began…read moreexperiencing multiple issues including warning lights, brake switch problems, "braking power low" warnings, and electrical/safety related concerns that at one point left the vehicle unable to start or move properly. When I contacted the dealership for assistance, I explained that I have children and that this was a major safety concern. I also explained that I could not safely get the vehicle there myself and could not afford a tow truck. Initially, I was told they would need to ask the owner about helping with a tow, but nobody ever followed up with me. When I called back, I was then told there was "no way" for them to get a tow arranged. Because of this, I was forced to manually bypass the warning/code issues myself just to get the vehicle drivable enough to make it from Mount Vernon to Lynnwood. During that drive, I had no functioning brake lights or turn signals, which made the situation even more dangerous. Despite explaining all of this, I felt my concerns were brushed off. When I finally arrived, I was told they "didn't HAVE to help" me, but that they would once the vehicle was there. At one point, after expressing frustration and mentioning possible legal action, I was also told that if I pursued that route they would not help me or fix the issue. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have also discovered that both the engine air filter and cabin air filter were extremely dirty and appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. These are basic maintenance items that should have been inspected or replaced prior to sale. I also later learned the vehicle originated from Canada, which explained why there was limited history available through Carfax. While I did notice scratches and dents at the time of purchase, I was disappointed to later realize there may have been additional history I was unable to fully verify beforehand because Canadian vehicle history does not always appear the same way on U.S. reports. To be fair, the dealership ultimately did fix the issue and paid for the repair. However, the way the situation was handled from the beginning -- especially considering the safety concerns involved -- left me with very little trust in this business moving forward. What makes this even more disappointing is that I traded in my nearly brand new Toyota with only around 25,000 miles on it because I trusted this dealership and expected the vehicle I purchased to be properly inspected and reliable. I would have never traded in my dependable, nearly new vehicle for something this unreliable had I known the condition this vehicle was actually in. I understand that once a used vehicle leaves the lot, responsibility largely falls on the buyer. However, customers still expect vehicles to receive thorough inspections and to be reasonably safe and reliable at the time of sale. Unfortunately, this experience was stressful, disappointing, and has left me questioning how carefully these vehicles are actually inspected before being sold.
