I was PETRIFIED to get a Brazilian wax but I was getting a csection just a few days before I headed in to see Jess to get my first wax done. Usually when you're pregnant your hormones are higher than normal (obviously) and your senses are higher also, so waxing while pregnant... not so smart. But when I walked in to Jess she brought me right in and settled my nerves because I was shaking, she laid me down and started talking to me about daily life things and talked me through the whole thing. Before I knew it we were done and it was SO worth it, she did an amazing job. If you're pregnant or not GO SEE JESS!!!! She's adorable and down to earth, she'll make you so comfortable and at ease you'll be so satisfied with your visit at EWC and Jess as your girl. 100/10 recommend Jess!! I've always thought about getting a Brazilian but I was so afraid of the pain, but Jess is amazing! She makes it as painless as possible and keeps me talking though the pain. Jess is quick, efficient and one of the nicest people I've ever met! Her attention to detail is excellent and she's full of helpful tips. She made my eyebrows even and a great shape after years of getting them done at salons that didn't care. I wish I had known about this place my whole life. When you make an appointment it goes through a call center instead of the actual location. I guess thats why mine was messed up. I won a gift card from a charity event i went to and they wouldnt honor a different service (which I might say was cheaper then the one I won) and the manager couldnt figure out how to do it! Really if you are a manager you need to work it out. Never will I return, because instead of taking me into the back she proceeded to tell me in front of other guests. I have always wanted to try the EWC but backed out in fear each time. I finally built up the courage to go in today. As soon as I walked in, I was seen within a minute of waiting. The ladies at the front desk were very knowledgeable and welcoming as it was my first visit. Justyna did my wax for me, she was incredibly sweet and delicate. She comforted and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I will continue to go to her for every wax going forward as I'm in love with my results. I used the Patchogue European Wax Center for my first time getting both my Brazilian and underarm waxes.. I've been converted and I will probably never go back to shaving! The center is unbelievably clean and so welcoming. The front desk girl was so sweet. My waxer was Maxine and even though I was incredibly nervous, she made me feel so comfortable. I started going to EWC in February before a trip down to the Caribbean. I felt so comfortable and loved the results. I bought the waxing pass and have been going back every 3-4 weeks. Raven waxes me and she is fabulous. She makes me feel very comfortable and is always very personable. Waxing isn't always a fun process but she's gentle and makes it nice and easy. Love this place, everyone is so nice, especially Alyssa who does all of my waxes. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel super comfortable so it isn't awkward and everyone is also very helpful when it comes to instructing proper care for maintenance after your wax and very knowledgable when it comes to the products. Mackenzie is the best! She talks to you about everyday life stuff which takes your mind completely off the pain that comes with a Brazilian wax- of course it hurts but it's not unbearable and hasn't stopped me from doing it over and over.
