Had I known before, I would have tried to give business. After reviewing your response, I went back and checked the security camera. You were clearly on your phone...not "unloading levels and measuring equipment." You were also blocking the driveway. My wife's request that you not block the driveway was reasonable. Your response to that request feels like an overreaction. Regardless, I agree that your company is clearly not the one I should work with. I'm sure other potential customers would feel the same. Your actions and words do not support your statement that you "treat every customer equally." I don't feel treated equally. I feel discriminated against.

His presentation was informative, professional, and impressive without ever feeling pushy. Yes, the windows were more expensive than some of the other companies we considered, but after seeing the quality, there really was no comparison. The windows look and feel top tier, and now that they're installed, I can honestly say they were worth the investment. Joseph who came out for the final measurements was also fantastic. He was professional, personable, and had such great charisma that it honestly felt like we'd known each other for years. He made that part of the process enjoyable and gave me even more confidence that we'd made the right choice. The windows took about six weeks to be manufactured, and installation took approximately two days. There were two windows that are delayed, but that was communicated in advance and another installation is scheduled for August 31st. On the first day of installation, I met Alex and Victor, who appeared to be a team lead, although I'm not exactly sure of their titles. Both were incredibly personable, friendly, and professional. What really stood out to me was how respectful they were of my home. They asked if they needed to cover their shoes, made sure my furniture was protected, and took great care while working. Alex even created a makeshift "tent" around the particular window being replaced to help contain the dust and debris. They also removed the old window coverings that I didn't want anymore and even put up temporary paper blinds on one of my high, hard-to-reach windows until my permanent blinds arrive. Those little extras made a BIG difference to me. And now that the windows are FINALLY in... they are BEAUTIFUL! They have completely changed the look of my home, and I couldn't be happier with them. The consultant comes at the agreed upon time- very much on time. We get into the construction site - and off the bat he says Renewal by Andersen is not for people using Home Depot or Lowe's windows or doors!! Not sure where he got that from- because we have no windows installed so far!! He went on to ask me my experience with costs of doors so far - I said I have quotes from $9k to $30k. He said the renewal costs were much higher. I said okay - how much would my French door cost? He asked if I was the owner- I said I was managing the project. Mind you this is a fenced site and I had access to the property. The moment I said I was managing the project- he said sorry I cannot give you a quote because I am not the owner!!! In setting up the appointment nobody asked for the owner to be there for the quote. If that was a requirement I would have not wasted my time with these folks!! I wasted an hour of my time with this company that talks about customer focus - but completely lacks it!! Will never recommend this company to owners who use me as project manager for their construction!! Response to Antonio: There is a very big difference in giving a quote and signing the contract. I completely agree that the home owner needs to sign the contract- whereas it is reasonable for the project manager to get the quotes. For this specific project I have so far got around 20 quotes from companies from around the USA. Yours was the first company that refused to give a quote to anyone other than the owner. Having said all this- I did have a very nice conversation with one of your leaders, that went over the process in detail and explained the situation to me. Never knew about life time warranty until last month, one of the window cracked. We didn't have any receipt or anything, just an email we did 14 years ago. We just contacted the company on their website and amazingly, they have the record by the address. The service department was so helpful, they contacted us and contacted the manufacturer to set up appointment with the case number to get it replaced. The windows were replaced 14 years ago in one day and we had many custom sized windows. The amazing thing is they know exactly which window that cracked by us describing the location of the window. Anlin Delmar (Milgard) called us and setup the appointment. They came and replaced the windows in a few hours. It was amazing and we're extremely happy. Now we know, go with the best and reputable company like Custom Exteriors and a good manufacturer like Anlin Delmar to have after service years after the work is done. I called a few days later, and Jim let me know the glass was ready for pickup. With the chaos of moving into our new home, we couldn't make it over until a few days later. Before leaving, I called one last time, and Sean was kind enough to read the measurements back to me. It was a small gesture, but it gave me complete peace of mind before making the drive. When we arrived, Sean helped load the glass and even included a dozen clear silicone bumpers so the glass would sit properly on the table. Those little details made a great impression. They reused my existing hardware (per plan) and installed all of that cleanly and fully functional. They even installed a door stop for me per request. To save a few bucks in labor, R&M recommended I do the painting myself, I gladly accepted the idea since that's the easy part and time consuming when doing multiple coats. The owner(s) who walked and quoted the job were great at explaining the process and communication was excellent from all whom I interacted with at R&M. Rob had to come out the following week to replace a door gasket with a slight nick in it. Instead of complaining about how trivial that was, they had zero questions and it was clear they expected the job to be as perfect as I did. All payments (e.g. down payment, final payment) were performed via their digital online payment portal for convenience.
