Completing the dwelling was affordable, quick and beautiful. I mentioned that I was familiar with the technology and was able to get a budgetary number from rough sizing even before a visit saving us both some time. Brian and naccho were amazing, they came over and was able to fix my windows that were not closing properly. Was able to get a response, quote and then repair date all within 2 weeks. They did a great job and fixed and even explained why things were like that in the first place and they went about fixing it. Extra props as most window companies only do new window replacement or construction. I couldn't find any company that can do this as most declined my work saying they don't do this type of work and a handyman wanted to remove the whole window from the frame and reinstall to fix this. CR window and doors took the task at hand and repaired it with a simple repair job. These guys know what they are doing and it's nice they are willing to help a home owner on these small issues. Spend 200$ for the measurement fee to let their employees come to measure, and what I got is: A total of five custom windows orders, there are four windows have quality issues. The size of two windows are wrong. The orther two windows have the opening direction and waterproof strip position issues. Windows could not be installed, and my old windows have been removed, what I can do is cover with plastic.The owner James of the company said that it was not their problem on the phone. Messages never replied, email too. So It is a strongly recommended not to choose this company to customize your windows and doors. read more

We previously hired CR Windows & Doors to install a few windows on our house. Jesus and his crew did such a wonderful job, we hired them again to install 3 exterior doors (with hardware) on our house. They were professional and thorough even when they ran into an unexpected issue installing one of the doors that caused them to work an extra day or two. All of the doors and locks open and close as they should, and Jesus/his crew even returned to fix my front door (at no charge) when it didn't close properly after my painter reattached it incorrectly. Jesus is a class act and had the most competitive quote. More importantly, he worked tirelessly to make sure we were satisfied with our doors and windows. Jesus and his crew went to every length to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase, even when I was really hesitant and had to make a number of changes. They worked fast, didn't leave any holes overnight, and cleaned up after themselves. Their price point is palatable compared to the other folks out there, and at least to the untrained eye, everything looks fine. The only problem is the house is now so airtight we have to open the windows every day for fresh air. the old windows were so leaky they took care of that by themselves already. I would recommend that the buyer makes doubly and triply sure of what you're getting because there's only so much they can do to mediate. I needed a replacement for my 70 year old patio sliding door and 2 window combo. Usually I have 3 estimates from contractors before deciding on one. The first company that came was CR Windows. Jesus came on the day he quoted, and even called to verify he was on his way. He was very professional and answered all my concerns on the spot. What sealed the deal for me is that he was not just a salesguy, but also an "installer" before he started up his business. He spoke from experience of installing countless windows and doors. He quoted me a very reasonable price considering the patio door and windows, would be custom made to fit my opening, also they would haul away the old steel and glass window, and door frame. Going on my gut feeling, I chose CR Window without getting the additional bids. I signed the contract on August 10 and the installers came yesterday August 30. Merle and Brian (Jesus's son) showed up on time. They were very professional and got right to work. Each seemed to know what they needed to do and job removing the old door and windows went smoothly and quickly. However, like i feared they found issues of rotted dry rot under a section of the patio door frame. A quick chat by Merle to Jesus, and a remedy for my situation was quickly had, which was replacement of the rotted sections with new pressure treated lumber. By 4:30pm they were finished, and I'm more than pleased with the new sliding doors and two picture windows. Too me its beautiful, and fits the existing opening perfectly. Reminds me of picking a new suit off the rack, vs. having it custom made, there's quite a difference. Merle and Brian work is outstanding, they caulked and foamed all around the frame to waterproof it, and did a great job installing the crown molding on the interior of the door/window. It frames the door and window beautifully, with smooth caulking and recessed nails. All that's left to me is to paint the molding to the color i want. They swept up and removed all remnants of debris, and left the place like they were never there. Lucky i went with my "gut" this time when choosing CR Window. read more

Found CR Windows on Yelp and noted all the 5 star reviews. I wanted Milgard windows because I had seen them in the neighborhood and they seemed to stand out for their quality. Once we met with Jesus we knew he was the right person to do our job. We replaced almost all the windows in the house - 19 windows in all. It took time to get the windows, but that was on Milgard production. Once Jesus got here, his team was completely organized, extremely nice, very clean, and professional. I had expected a nightmare of broken glass everywhere but there was very little at the end of the job. He estimated up to 6 days to replace everything and they actually finished under schedule. We also had Jesus replace the front door for a modernized look. The door he recommended is now the focal point of the house and is beautiful. The CR Windows office staff was great as well - they even took care of signing up for the warranty for me! We appreciated their diligence and cheerful attitude (they were all so kind to our dog!) If I could give this company zero stars I would. My landlord got work done with this company that totally violated my privacy, safety, and actually stole from me. They did not have the correct key to enter my unit, so instead of communicating with my landlord I have on video one of the workers climbing through my window to enter my unit. Mind you, all this is happening while I'm at work. Not sure what kind of professionalism that is, but it definitely was not appropriate here! Spoke with one worker who claimed he was the owner of the company which later revealed that he was lying. I have no screen to my sliding door, which totally defeats the purpose of having a sliding door. Used my restroom, stole a lighter. Told me that I would talk to someone in charge before they left, that never happened. Definitely pursuing suing the company! To add...
