I love the salon. Their prices are excellent and they do a much better job than anywhere else that I've been. They have a crystal powder instead of acrylics for your tips and it is awesome. Went to Eva's nails today and got a Gel mani pedi wasn't busy at all Walked right in and the girls got right to work!!! The girls who helped me were GREAT!!! My and Susan were definitely warm and very friendly !!! Also a man that worked there he is always very friendly!! I will definitely be back next time I need my mani pedi!!! I come here every two weeks or so to get my nails done. The staff is very friendly and Frank is awesome. He does exactly what you want and does it fast! I use to go to other places while the place was temporarily closed and they did not compare to here. The price is also very reasonable and they have so many options for colors. read more

Now, this review is only for the pedicure... I refuse to come here to get my nails done. I actually make the drive to Whittier for that, but's that's another review, any who. You have to ask for Denise, she's the only person who knows how to give a great pedicure, she actually takes her time, and the foot massage she gives is amazing, puts you to sleep lol. Eva's nails is a NO. First time getting my eyebrows waxed with them they made one shorter than the other. Then when I got a pedicure I got an ingrown toe nail. It was purple and extremely infected. Never going back. They are also not to friendly. read more

Walked in on a Friday afternoon, maybe between 12-1pm. No one acknowledged I was there until few min later & no it was not packed. A nice lady did my full set of acrylics, I know the full set regularly is $18 I paid $21.00 not bad but I don't understand why I paid more for the nails when I just told the lady I wanted the regular length, she cut them short after she took off my old set of acrylics which were LONG. Never have I got short nails or regular acrylics I usually go with gel but I'm so glad I didn't get gel here. I stopped by cause I was near by. Avoid at all cost, she made my nails short & thin to the point that the acrylics bend !!!! Wtf it's ridiculous plus she cut me while she was shaving down the acrylic. THE WORST !!!!!!!! Never would I come here. On top of everything she left me for about 10 min to go wax a customers eyebrows without even letting me know. It wasn't even packed. Unbelievable that this nail place gave me sh**ty nails, these nails were for my birthday week too so that makes it worst. Ugh wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I went back for a pedicure today and the experience was just ok. I didn't catch the name of the lady working on me. She was nice enough but the paint job was a little on the sloppy side, and I had to ask them for a pair of slippers afterward instead of them handing it to me. A small gesture of courtesy is especially important when nail salons are a dime a dozen out here. The price still rocks though. I might try another local neighborhood joint next time and branch out a little. read more

The only reason I came to this salon was because I had heard and seen what a great job Denise did. She takes her time and does a great job. Denise no longer works there, but I thought I'd go back just because it's conveniently close. What a horrible experience. The owner (the man) rushes his employees, so they can get as many people in as possible. Quantity not quality. He's extremely rude and doesn't seem to care if you complain. I found out that Denise works locally. She kept the same low prices, and continues to do a fantastic job. I am never coming here again!! I got gel nail polish on my nails n it lifted the next day, my hair would always get stuck on them while I would wash my hair or put my fingers through my hair. The next time I went in they said oh its cuz it was to close to the cuticle and so I gave her the benifit of the doubt n so long story short she did my nails and did a design on my ring fingers n the white flowers were nice but idk if it was different nail polish n not gel but anyway the white flowers smugged a bit so I came back shortly after for her to fix them, n she acting like it wasnt anything. She told me she doesnt see anything !!?! Like wtf!! Happened to the costomer is always rigjt!! Anyway I walked out super pissed spent a decent price on my nails and I expect them to look nice n they werent. Never coming here ever again!!! P.s. Came here because my usual place was closed. I only needed an underarm waxing so I was glad to see a nail salon had this service available. I called in beforehand to make sure someone was available to do my wax because the previous reviewers had issues with this. The lady who did my underarm waxing was nice, although she was in the middle of working on a manicure client when I walked in, she took me to the back to get started immediately. The process was quick and painless. The wax they use here didn't burn me like other places I've been to, and I didn't feel like it ripped at my skin at all. She even used tweezers to get the last bits that didn't come off with the wax. Overall comfortable experience, the only thing that bothered me was that the technician didn't wash her hands after working on her nail client before she worked on me, and she didn't wear any gloves during my treatment. Also, there is $1 charge for card transactions (most places have removed this policy..they need to get with the times...everyone uses cards to pay now) Therefore 3 stars. However, the woman was so nice, the wax was pleasant, and the price was right so I'll be returning in the future. read more

Service takes too long, lie about wait time, sneaky with prices (Gel & certain colors), the very few (4) Technicians they do have don't do good quality, took a total of 2 hours for a pedicure and 1 nail repair. I was quoted 10-15 wait, I waited 30 before starting on my toes, then waited 3-4 customers before finally complaining I was here before these other customers getting serviced just for Frank to rush and half ass my nail..... I found Eva Nail many many years ago. Frank and his brother Tony both know me very well. I'm a no-nonsense kind of girl and am always honest with them about how they run their business and they've even taken constructive criticism from me about the shop. It's improved greatly in the past few years mainly because Frank is no longer worried about insulting women that go in there and let their wild monkeys run around and mess up his shop. Also, the skank (Kelly, I think) that used to sit in front of Frank is finally gone so every time I go there now I'm smiling the whole time. It's clean, their work is good (I can only vouch for the guys) and their prices are reasonable. I always make an appointment because I don't like to wait and as long as Frank and Tony are there, I'll keep going back. read more

My family and I use to love evas nails until we noticed how inconsiderate they were ... the lady in charge was also very rude. The reason why we stopped going was because we loved how frank did our nails until he disappointed us my sister set up an appointment with him the day before her wedding as we showed us he wasnt there we waited for him for about an hour because we were told he would be back never showed up didnt even recieve a simple call telling her he had to cancel her appointment that is so unprofessional and that is why he lost a loyal customer ... I also noticed he became so tight he wanted to charge me 2 extra dollars just because I wanted a nail polish that had a little bit more glitter the the other one ... Worst service EVER!!!! I went in on Friday January 18 with my friends for a gel mani and a regular pedi. I always get the gel done so I expected the same results I always get. Well on Saturday it started pealing like if it was regular nail polish. I went Sunday to complain only to find out they were closed. I just went in right now, my nails look worse than they did Saturday because they kept pealing. I wanted a refund and the Asian guy said no they don't do that. Instead he had the girl do it again and he said it was my fault and gel doesn't last that long only 7 days. Excuse me but it wasn't even 7 days and it's pealing off. He wanted to charge me again and I said no!!! The girl was nice enough to do it over she did a better job but I'm NOT returning here again! What kind of customer service is this?!!! I hope this time around the gel lasts. I'm sticking to my nail salon in Baldwin Park, DIVINE NAILS. They are really clean the girls are super friendly and their gel manicures last OVER 7 days!!!! A month or more at the least!!!! This is why I don't like to try new places!!! Because experiences like this!!!! I'm giving them one star cuz I have to but I would give them ZERO stars!!!! read more
