I've been going here for years, and still keep going back. I mainly get pedicures, but will do the occasional mani/pedi on a whim. I type too much for work to have regular manicures. Luc is THE best, and if you can get in with him... do it! But I often forget to make appointments and have been worked on by a variety of people over the years. I think I started going in in 2008. Possibly 2007. It's been a while. I go in every 4-6 weeks. If you have issues with your heels drying out (year round) and calluses/cracking... I suggest going up to the "Deluxe Pedicure". It's $40, but has made SUCH a difference in my life. I converted my mom to it as well and she agrees. It's well worth it! Plus, you get extra foot/leg massage time... ahhhh, relaxing! Although I have not been waxed here, I would not recommend anyone getting waxed in a nail salon. If you want to get waxing, go to a wax parlor that specializes in it. After not having artificial nails for 10 years, I decided to get a full set and boy did I regret it. I had the full set that seemed to be done by a 10 year old. The acrylic was so thick and several of my nails had air bubbles and few of them had a yellowish tint and they looked horrible. I went back the next day and complained about it and the person that did my full set said I had two options: 1. I would get $10 off my next filling, which meant I had to walk around with these horrible nails. 2. He could remove the nail and re do them. Well I'm sure you all can guess what option I choose. I paid for a service and I expect it to be done right. So need less to say, I sat at the table and had the nails soaked off and he put on new nails. And once again air bubbles and several cuts later he was finished. He noticed the air bubles and air brushed the white tips to cover them up. They looked nice until the air bush paint started to come off. Now I am walking around with air bubble nails. I need to have a fill done, but I am afraid to go to them again. I am willing to give them one more shot, but this time I am having a lady do them. Men don't seen to know what we want and that is "nice looking nails". read more

I would give no stars if possible. Just came to get my eyebrows done, and she did one side freaking shorter than the other. it's very obvious. When I brought it up to her, she said it was shorter before...I know it wasn't bc I pluck my eyebrows every morning and leave them long. This is ridiculous. I look demented for my anniversary now... Also, I felt rushed in and out like the other users have shared. Will never return here and will tell all my friends. read more

This place was close to my old house. Never had a bad experience here. You do need to watch out for "add ons" with pedicures which up the price. But no pressure. They are great at fixing bad nails and making my hands and feet look good. read more

Terrible. My nails are too thick, uneven, the polish doesn't even cover the sides of my nail. I picked a color and he made me use purple powder with the purple nail polish and then charged me an extra $20 for it. I didn't choose a dip color in the first place. The whole experience was awful. Not a big fan when they don't paint the whole nail but then they get crappy when you ask to put the tip on your card. They charged me .50 to use my card and the girl was shitty after I asked about the tip. I'm not a fan of people not claiming tips and paying taxes the correct way so I always tip on my card everywhere I go. Won't come here again. read more

Let me start off by saying that the state board really needs to get off their buttocks and make a trip to Tucson. Although the gentleman was very nice, the salon was very dirty. I also think that he may not have used shellac on my nails and mixed it with regular polish. It didn't even last 2 days!!! As many of you wise ladies know, it's supposed to last 14 days if done right. Problem is, I work 12-14 hours per shift and I can't just roll out of there and have them fix. After reading terrible reviews i figured i would just give them a try....Honestly worst experience I've ever had at a salon the whole time i was there i was just thinking i can't wait to leave!!! And that should never be a thought while "relaxing" at a salon, To start i made a apt at 545 they did not start my nails till after 615, they were very unfriendly and rude i was rushed the whole time there, not to mention i had gotten a full set that managed to be very cheap quality and only managed to stay on for 5 days not to mention my toes had paint all over the skin and the man didn't even care to clean them up! 10/10 would not recommend. read more

I went 6/7 times before writing this review... we have lived in the area for 4 years, and I avoided the place because of the reviews on here, and I'm sorry I did, because this place is just as good as the 10 other places I've been to in Tucson... although, I can't speak to how well they do if you like designs on your nails. I usually just get a single color pedicure and sometimes a gel manicure... They could have more color options, but I think that about every place I go. Only been here once. Didn't like my nails but I may try again with a different tech as I might have better results. She did not shape them properly they were supposed to be almond but looked like stubs and they started to change color within a few hours. What ever top coat she put on was no good. Then 2 days later they were looking as if I had them on for 2 weeks and needed a refill. I was able with minimal effort to pop them right off. It was a waste of my $35. They are pricey and charged me more to shape them into almond nails but did not deliver. Prices need to be lowered. read more

I dont know what everyone is complaining about.. I have been going here for over year, and have not had any problems. This is not a luxury salon, but they do good work. I always see Luc (pronounced Luke) and he does an awesome job. Eyebrow waxing hurts - Why does everyone think it should be painless? Anyway, I think their pricing is in line - They move people along and do a good job. I ONLY go when Luc is there, so maybe that is part of it. Its clean, they just did a little mini re-model. I got gel manicure here for the first time. This salon is not hygienic at all.. After I soaked my nails in the nail polish remover for 20 min the guy that was doing my nail poured the nail polish remover back into the bottle it came from. Also charged me $5 to fix ONE of my nails that was broke(added a tip). Salon is not clean, cheap products... Would not recommend this salon! read more

I went in and asked for a facial wax. The girl started on eye brows first then she did the rest of my face. When she was done she started to tell me sorry while handing me a mirror and showed me a huge chunk of my brow she took out. Shocked and stunned I left the room and went out front to pay. They charged me full price $35.00. I went home into my bathroom and cried like I never cried before because my eyebrow had a bald spot in it. Once I was done crying I went to War-Mart where I had to spend $17.44 on eyebrow stuff that I never used before and prayed I could figure it out. I finally called Eva Nails and told them I was upset and that I couldn't believe I was charged full price when the girl took out half my eyebrow. The said ok I will refund you $10.00! Im sorry but I'm left with a huge bald spot in my brow and had too spend another $17 to fix there mistake and all you can do is give $10.00 the cost of an eye brow wax!!!! Ive been going to this location for so long now and even when new management took over I still went and I just can't believe this is how I'm treated. I guess they don't care since they don't have to go out in public and to work with jacked up eye brow looking like an idiot. Im not a make up artist and I couldn't even fill it with the product I bought. Needless to say I will not be going back to this location. I'm so thrilled Danny and Van have taken over Eva Nails in Rita Ranch next to the Fry's on Houghton. Danny has done my nails for greater than years, and as far as I'm concerned he does the best nails in town. They run a great Salon, always clean and professional. I can't recommend them enough. If you tried Eva Nails in the past and weren't satisfied, try them again now that it's under new management by Van and Danny. read more

Went in with a friend to pamper ourselves with pedicures. The girl insisted I need to pay $10 extra & have my cacluses removed. I gave in and she barely did any work on my rough areas but now my feet feel like velcro! My toes may look great, but the feel awful! My friend and I were to meet at Eva Nails for mani/ pedis this morning at 1030. I arrived first and signed us in at the request of an elder man who i was told was the shop owner. they called our names twice and i them twice I would wait till my friend arrived before having my nails done. No other waiting customers were there. My friend arrived shortly after. I do not know what set the crazy owner off but he started screaming and flailing his hands . He slammed the signin clipboard and slammed the pen I used as well. This was done in front of three customers in the chairs being served. At that point my friend and I told the man and whoever else could understand us that my friend and I would not be needing their services, and we left. I feel sorry for the workers who have to deal with that crazy man. A professional business owner should know how to control his temper especially in front of his customers. IF he was unhappy with his staff he should had displayed his infantile temper in private. I hope the workers will find another place to work. We went to Pink and White nails closeby and the staff there was friendly, courteous and efficient. Not a good place! read more

I've been to many different nails salons from Tucson to Texas and none of them have been as good as this one. Last Monday I walked in and signed my name and put what I wanted done. Less than 2 minutes and I was already in the chair showing him what I wanted done. He was all set up and ready to go and he got started putting on my full set. He really took the extra time to make sure my acrylics were on evenly and set straight. He kept a conversation and seemed interested in everything I was saying. I have never had my nails turn out so good! The acrylic was all even, the design was flawless, although their choice of mixing shellac with regular nail polish bothered me since my nails started chipping at the top. He cut me with the file while using it on my nail but apologized right away and made sure the cut wasn't bad. I will definitely keep going here and recommend this place to my friends! read more
