Dream cone

I'm in LOVE with DREAM CONE Chimney cone is a Hungarian pastries like a doughnut cone. It's crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the inside. I LOVE this unique pastry!! Dream come 10/10 - caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, skor, Nutella, brownies Eating this is like a surprise. I LOVE chimney cone. Perfect chewiness and crunchiness. After finishing the top part, there are a lot of surprises inside. There are also a lot of skor crumbles inside and there is a chocolate sphere (not sure) at the bottom. Everything is delectable and flavourful Tiramisu - mascarpone, expresso-soaked lady finger biscuits, cocoa, slice of tiramisu My brother got this. He loves it and is surprised there is a tiramisu inside the cone! Heavenly delicious! There are lots of flavours to choose from and you can also personalise it to your liking! It's definitely on a pricey side as it's very unique. But it's definitely worth it! $9.95+ tax for premium cone I can't wait to try out other flavours there. There are even vegan options for some of the flavours!

Yummy vegan vanilla ice cream!! Please come up with a gf cone. Came all the way to port credit to get it. Happy to see distanced line with limits to people in store.

Very busy and popular stop in Port Credit. Tried the basic strawberry frozen yogurt in the cone and really enjoyed it! It's a decent size and good to share. The cone was fresh and crispy with a delicious cinnamon sugar coating. The only downside was that the frozen yogurt melts very quickly and became a drippy mess to eat (not to mention that it seems to attract the bees!). There was a nice surprise with the chocolate ball at the base of the cone. A little pricey but a good treat!

Literally heaven in a cone. After an extremely filling meal - heavy on the meat - from Door Fifty Five next door, I popped in here to grab a sweet treat. Since we were sitting on the patio next door, we kept seeing people come out of Eva's with these large dough filled cones in their hands and I couldn't resist. This is like the adult ice cream shop of my dreams. Instead of choosing one particular flavour, you pick out a type of gourmet cone. Now these aren't regular ice cream cones. They're hand rolled and baked donut cones that come in a variety of flavours - cinnamon, walnut, dark chocolate, shredded coconut and more. What's even better is that they have vegan options. I got the "Dream Cone" with a cinnamon cone. This had vanilla ice cream, skor bits, Nutella and chocolate drizzle. It. Was. Amazing. I shared a few bites with my pals and they loved it just as much. I was so full at the halfway point, but there was no way I could just throw out the other half and let it go to waste. The food coma that I'm feeling as I write this review is absolutely worth it. Eva's is originally started out as a food truck and quickly became popular. Now they have over a handful of different locations around Ontario. You can still book the original food truck for any larger events you may have. This is the most perfect treat for summer. If you're in the area or craving a sweet treat, add Eva's to the list. Thank you for my first chimney cone experience, Eva's!

Tiramisu & Mango Coconut for $9.95 each.

I was SO angry that they gave me a chimney filled with soft serve and dusted cocoa powder (I got Tiramisu) for a whopping $9.95, but I dug deeper into the cone and it was FULL of great surprises!! So yummy and worth it in the end . Whole fam loved it too!

Veggie Paradise specialises in Veg take-out (call ahead), Frozen/Dried meals and ingredients. I write "Veg" 'cause it may be even Vegan, as opposed to just Vegetarian. They also do custom vegan/vegetarian cakes/pastries. This place is run by 2 sisters and their workers. As soon as Sandra heard that I wanted something to eat, she prepped me with an Asian meal - as opposed to their other meals that are more popular amongst gwai-lo. Meal comprised of a soup (looked like Tom Yum, but not sweet/spicy), a separate plate with Rice, Bok Choy (chopped with garlic), & a portion of fermented Mustard Greens with Green Peas (this was medium spicy). The meal was tasty, yet rather homey as it wasn't overly salted. I really felt like I was eating at an aunt's house! This place is located in a rather industrial, catering to Vegans/Vegetarians (or people who just enjoy the occasional veg meal), so just call ahead if you want to order something! The sisters will even offer you a sample if it's available. :)

Stumbled upon this restaurant as I was looking for vegetarian restaurants and thought the food was…read morepretty good! I tried their soy chicken drum sticks, kim chi, dumplings, siu mai, and radish cake. My absolute favourite and would recommend is the radish cake!! It is so good. The kim chi was off-putting and was drenched in whatever sauce. The dumplings are also really good as well. I like the layout and aesthetics of the restaurant. One thing to note also was that the employees just seemed miserable. I understand we came an hour before closing but they just seemed miserable and sort of ticked off that we were coming an hour before closing.

Well, at first I was a bit on the fence about ordering cause of the vegetarian/vegan menu, I like my meat, love meat, got to have my protein dammit! But wow! was I ever surprised and happy about following my gut and choosing to go there. You see, I'm from Vancouver, and if you know a bit about my hometown is that you know we have a very large asian population. Heck, I'd even go as far as saying it's my second language, (my first language is English and my parents are Chilean...never spoken a word of it) but I've been around it so much somehow, I feel I could get by given the chance. So, by examining the pictures from the online menu, I thought to myself; If the food is anything remotely like the pictures, it looks exactly like my fav spot in Vancouver - Congee Noodle King- also a must try if you're in east Vancouver. Just trust my absent Asian ancestry ok?! I ordered the N65. Fried Noodles with Steamed and Stir-Fried Bean Curd, and as a request asked them to make it spicy to which they happily and kindly obliged. This dish was packed with flavour. Oh em gee! Loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, the noodles were spot on: thin, velvety and a lot of them. Makes for some healthy slurps! Oh, did I mention the meat? No, I didn't, because it didn't have any, and I have never not missed something so much. The crispy fried bean curds tasted like deep fried spare ribs. My pupils dilated a bit. And that's ok cause I went into a food coma, got to heaven and wrote a review about the very first Asian restaurant I try in Toronto and I'm already planning to go back. If you give this place less than 5 stars you don't know food, Asian food or how to speak it so go on and chew on some meat! Thank you for the wonderful and friendly service as well. I shall return. How do you say that in Mandarin? Cheers! - Patricio

BEWARE: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…read more If my memory serves me well, this is the first time ever that I've given an establishment a 1 star rating ... and these are the reasons why: They were seriously understaffed in the kitchen - specially knowing that it was Mother's Day There were 4 of us and we chose to order one starter between us so that we could save our appetite for the mains The Bang Bang Broccoli took one hour to arrive... yes- ONE HOUR During this time we were told just how many cocktails would not be available because they were out of some ingredients ( and this was at 1:30pm on Mothers Day ) - but I must say they had water available and they served that at lightning speed Then 45 minutes after our appetizer arrived and after asking our server and anyone on the staff that we could speak to, one of the 4 mains arrived...which self respecting restaurant would: 1. Take so long to serve the food with any explanation whatsoever? 2. After such a delay, bring only one of the four dishes that were ordered? By this time we were ready to leave but eventually got the other 3 mains and had them packed and took them back home - since our daughter had to drive back to London to be there at 6pm - which she thought would give all of us enough and more time to have a nice leisurely lunch with a reservation for 1pm ... clearly Community Restaurant had other plans Now comes the kicker... as we were heading out I told one of the servers to please tell the owner that if this is how he/she runs a business it would shut down pretty quickly - to which she replies: You're right, this has been sold and will change hands in 2 weeks Good riddance And no thanks for upsetting my daughter who wanted to make the day special for her mother

Took a good while to make us sit in a half empty restaurant. The food came pretty quickly and service was just OK after that. The interior is nice. The coffee we started was very weak and lukewarm warm. We asked for a refill and the refill was the same as well. Hollandaise Benny was good, the Just egg perhaps cooked from the frozen ready was good. The Impossible/Beyond Sausage was good. The Hollandaise sauce was well made. Disappointed with the home fries quantity - very few. The Chik'n Burger made from Oyster Mushroom was very good. Crunchy outside and shredded mushroom to give a chicken texture. Just too greasy for us. Again the fries very few - the plate looks empty and not filling for us. IMO not good enough value for almost $25 all in. The Chik'n and Waffles, same Chik'n as the burger good. The 3 piece (?) waffles were great. The fries still less, however there some salad as well. Good restaurant, OK service. Food is OK, a bit pricey for what we got.
