Located in the Distillery district. They have quite a few interesting flavours. I had the Ube .... Nice and crunchy with the cornflakes in it. At six bucks for a scoop, it's a bit pricey. But everything is at the Distillery. Service was quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's room to stand and order, but no seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their Roaster White Chocolate flavour is back.
As an ice cream lover, this ube has to be 1 of the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a trip to check out some of their funky flavors.
Ever since they opened in the Distillery District, it is my must-visit spot after dinner ;) [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few tables, chairs, and seating area available if you want to hang around to enjoy your ice cream.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tubs are ice cream also available for take home in fridge near entrance. My go-to is usually Strawberry Blush, I 100% can't get enough of it lol. I'm also open to try new or seasonal flavours! Recent visit, I tried the Dubai Chocolate (it was alright), and the Uber Ube (I didn't like the aftertaste, sorry). I've noticed that the scoops of ice cream got smaller compared to before; they used to fill up the cup. The staff serving us was courteous, though she looked a bit tired, and uniform/hat had a lot of fingerprints.
There are many unique flavours available. I wanted to try the black sesame which was advertised outside of the building but staff said it was discontinued. The uber ube has ube flavour and crunchy bits for texture, I feel it can use a bit more ube flavour. The waffle cone was a bit on the chewy side and I wish it was more fresh. The staff did allow us to try a few samples but did not proactively offer this.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, it is clean and organized, the ice cream tubs are displayed in their case on your left and there are about three small tables on the right next to the window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The menus are on the wall behind the ice cream counter and easy to read, but I wish they had the descriptions of the ice creams on them; the sign posted outside of the shop did have the ice cream descriptions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a good selection of different, interesting flavors, which is totally my jam. I wish a flight was an option so I didn't have to narrow it down to just 3 flavors (3 scoops is the biggest size). They make their cones fresh, in house. After a bit of inner debate, I chose to have the ube, saffron and goat cheese ice creams. I thought they were all quite smooth & creamy, delicious & full of flavor. The ube had cornflakes in it, which they managed to keep crunchy bringing a different, pleasing texture into the mix. All the flavors were very different than any other ice cream flavors I've had and I've had hundreds! But, the scoops were quite small; the smallest scoops I've gotten at any ice cream shop. I would visit again though because of their innovative flavors and super creamy ice cream texture!
Great ice cream shoppe even in the middle of winter. We stopped by here after touring the distillery district and enjoyed a couple of cones. I had the cajeta swirled goat cheese and it was a very unique flavor. Tasty and sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a small shoppe but plenty of room to enjoy and the service was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They even offered us a free pint of ice cream as they were cycling out their inventory. Nice offer even though we couldn't take it.

Wow wow wow Scooped was unbelievably good! We had the Dulce Banana which we think was a seasonal flavor. It was creamy and was full of texture with the chocolate and banana. Flavors were on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely gets busy inside but the staff remains patient and kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some of the best ice cream we had in Toronto!
I recently stopped by Scooped by demetres in distillery and it was so yummy. The ice cream was creamy and rich, and the flavor I chose - blueberry lemon curd - was delicious. The combination of the sweet blueberry and tangy lemon curd was perfect, I'll definitely be back to try more flavors! The interior was clean, we got to sample some flavours as well, the staff were so patient! I ended up buying a pint of earl grey after to take home and the girl working there let me cut the line waiting for ice cream to pay for my item quickly!
The hype is real! Had to get ice cream after lunch and I saw this place had super unique flavors. I tried a sample of the lemon blueberry curd and the cherry rose cheesecake, which won out. Both were great, but I was craving a cheesecake flavor. It was insane how it was just like eating cheesecake in ice cream form- there were small chunks of cheesecake crust and the cherry flavor was very light and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine while eating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And it was not super expensive- one scoop is a hearty serving.
Scooped by Demetres has a prime location in the heart of the distillery district and had a huge line even on a weekday - which promises to me that it's good! As I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were keen to tell me all about their flavours and even give me samples as I struggled with such a huge selection. In total, they allowed me to taste three different flavours and even recommended a choice. I settled for the strawberry blush and lavish chocolate cherry flavour. My first bite was just heaven. Chocolate and strawberry is already a great combination and demetres makes the flavours taste fresh, with pieces of strawberry and chocolate in each lick. And the waffle cone was freshly made and hot, which gave it the perfect finish. It looked like the picture perfect ice cream cone Will definitely be coming here again. The quality, presentation and service was fantastic.

As an ice cream lover, I love a good scoop, especially in a waffle cone! I ordered the Cookies N Cream Chaos, which was actually recommended by the server. She was very kind and helpful while I was deciding on a flavour, and her recommendation did not disappoint. The ice cream was delicious, and the waffle cone was the perfect amount of sweet without being overpowering. The scoop itself was perfectly rounded and looked just as good as it tasted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store wasn't too busy, which made for a pleasant experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only wish is that the scoop had been a little bigger because I finished it so quickly and enjoyed every bite! Great ice cream spot! The line was long but moved super quickly, and the staff were incredibly nice and offered samples. The ube flavor is strong and rich, and the popcorn combination is super unique. Plus, the round scoops in the cute little cups are adorable. read more

The uber ube has ube flavour and crunchy bits for texture, I feel it can use a bit more ube flavour. The waffle cone was a bit on the chewy side and I wish it was more fresh. I got the double baked apple pie in a waffle cone. The ice cream itself was delicious and the apple pie chunks made it even better. The service was also good - the workers were friendly and served large portions. Would recommend! read more

This cute ice cream store is located in the distillery district. I tried a bunch of flavors, but ended up with goat cheese, which I was so happy with!! Service was kind and there were several seats outside of the store for people to enjoy the cute industrial vibe in the distillery district My group thought about doing a detour the next day just to come back for the goat cheese ice cream - and yes that's how good it was!! read more
I came to this location before and the service has been consistently good. There's so many flavours and the staff let me try a few. I ended up getting two scoops of ice cream in a cone in the strawberry blush flavour and the new lemon meringue flavour. I really enjoy the strawberry blush flavour. It wasn't too sweet and I feel like I can eat it without getting sick of it. The lemon meringue flavour is a bit tart and was the flavour on the bottom, so there was more of that flavour. It tasted good in the tiny sample I had, but I didn't enjoy eating a large quantity of it, I would've preferred if the strawberry blush was on the bottom instead. read more
This was my first time in "scooped by Demetres" and I really enjoyed it. There were 20 different flavors including chocolate flavors, fruity ones and nutty ones. I have picked "Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake" and "West Coast Salted Caramel" in a waffle cone. "Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake" had raspberry pieces, some crumbles and cheecake flavor. It was more cheesecake flavor than raspberry, very creamy and quite solid. "West Coast Salted Caramel" was lighter than the raspberry flavor and smoother texture to it. The portions were huge. If you are in for a big treat these portions will definitely please you. Overall both flavors were quite delicious. The waffle cone sure deserves a separate paragraph in this review ! It is super fresh, crunchy and delicious. It is almost like a thin cookie around your sweet. It keeps its crunchy texture till the last bite. It is super delicious and a delight to munch small pieces from when you are enjoying your cool ice cream. Staff was very kind and friendly. They were very patient and they give enough time to select your flavors. Establishment looks very well maintained and very clean. Presentation of ice cream in the waffle cone was done very professionally in the waffle cone. There is a small stairlike sitting area inside if you wanna it your ice cream here. On a nice day there are several areas in Distillery District area that you can eat your ice cream outdoors. read more

$9 for a waffle cone with one scoop of the pistachio magnifique and yes it was pricey but it was so good! The description perfectly reflects it- nutty, creamy, and just delicious. The pistachio flavour was strong, the ice cream wasn't too sweet, and it was a pleasant surprise that there was milk chocolate ganache that was mixed into the ice cream. So good and I would definitely try their other flavours if I do return. read more

This is my second time trying ice cream from Scooped, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The ice cream gives the place an automatic 5 stars, as there's sooooo many flavours to pick from! Portion sizes are great, and the taste is absolutely divine. I personally ordered a scoop of Pistachio Magnifique, and Mango Passion Fruit Sorbetto, and I'd definitely recommend the pistachio flavour for anyone stopping by. The Sorbetto is a good choice if you're looking for a lighter, fruitier texture for ice cream. Service was efficient and friendly, but be prepared for a wait. Overall, this is the go-to spot for ice cream in Toronto's Distillery District. read more

Ordered the two scoops in a waffle cone! No line to walk in and quick service and asked for the west coast salted caramel and ask what could compliment it best which in this case was recommended the maple pecan crunch. The cone itself was great and overall quality was amazing along with the flavors and definitely instagramable. Customer service was quick however my bill was incorrect in terms of the two flavors,I did ask to rectify it and they proceed to just write on the receipt. read more

I loved going to Demetres growing up - I had the biggest sweet tooth. I would finish one whole waffle ice cream dessert by myself every time I would go. So I'm happy to see Scooped by Demetres open up a few locations, and even happier to be able to try them out! Finding the place is super easy. It's near the clock tower and almost right in front of the peace sign art installation. You'll see a big flag saying "ice cream" on the side of the building. We came on a Sunday afternoon (2:30pm) and it wasn't too busy. There was only one person ahead of us. We ordered a waffle cone with one scoop of lemon curd blueberry and one scoop of house of earl grey. Both flavours were delicious and true to taste. If I had to pick a favourite, it would be lemon curd blueberry. The waffle cone was fresh and crunchy, but not too hard. The scoops were very generous! A double scoop was more than enough for two people. Definitely will be back to try other flavours and maybe even buy a pint! read more

I ordered the lemon meringue pie and roses of paradise flavours! Both were a big hit with me and partner, couldn't decide on a favorite. If you love a tangy lemon meringue pie, this is a must but it's only on for a limited time! roses of paradise is rosy but not over the top. The store gets quite busy in the after dinner hour, we got caught in a rush and waited a little bit before getting served. Not too long, but there was a bit of confusion about who was being served and who had already been served. I highly recommend this ice cream spot in the Distillery District, if you're looking for something a little sweet on a warm summer day! read more
Did you really visit Distillery District if you didn't visit the infamous Scooped by Demetres? I browsed the menu and immediately knew which double scooped pairing I wanted to try, OFFICE COFFEE (4.6 out of 5.0) and IT'S CHOCOLATE. IT'S HAZELNUT (4.8 out of 5.0). Their ice creams are unbelievably creamy which is delicious but lends itself to be quite decadent and heavy. However, Office Coffee was the less sweet option amongst the two, thanks to the subtle bitterness from the caffeine, which helped to cut some of that richness. If you're a lover of Coffee Crisp and Ferrero Rocher, this pairing really hits the spot! Of course I had to try their waffle cone (as you could visibly see them constantly rolling new ones) which was thin and crispy, the perfect cone (coming from someone who usually prefers sugar cones over waffle!) My sister ordered the MAPLE PECAN CRUNCH, another decadent and creamy ice cream flavor. The highlight of this flavor was undoubtedly the candied pecans which not coming add a slight crunch to contrast the creamy ice cream base, but is also slightly salted to offset some sweetness. Overall, this was delicious but can quite sweet after a while so consider sharing a scoop! (4.6 out of 5.0) Prices: One scoop for $5 Two scoops for $9 Waffle cone for an additional $2 The interior is not very big, but feels spacious for what it is. More importantly, the place looks clean and well-kept. Service was also super friendly, so thanks for the team for that! (Don't know their names but they worked Labor Day around 4 pm in the afternoon, in hopes of giving them a shoutout to their management team). Side note, if you have a Cafe Demetres gift card, it works here too! read more
The staff was really patient as we tried nearly every flavor, only to both get the same flavor: lemon curd blueberry. We went on a hot August day so this really hit the spot. There's a ton of outdoor seating so we enjoyed our scoops outside. read more

I have ordered a double-scoop with a waffle cone. I chose the strawberry blush and hazelnut chocolate. The scoops and cone were HUGE! Excellent to post on your instagram to get likes! The strawberry was very fresh and refreshing while the chocolate was rich in flavour but not too sweet or heavy. The staff there was incredible and the decoration was classy too. You could definitely take loads of photos for your instagram! The overall experience was excellent. read more

Great ice cream spot with a variety of artisanal and seasonal flavours. Staff are friendly and welcome you to try samples of the ice cream before ordering. I got a scoop of strawberry blush and a scoop of lemon meringue pie. The strawberry tasted sweet and fresh but the lemon meringue was the absolute star. It was super lemony, tart, sweet, and loaded with bits of pie crust. The scoops were perfectly round. The waffle cone was freshly made. read more
What's the latest scoop you ask? Scooped at Distillery, that's what! We were taking a stroll one night, and the intoxicating fragrance of freshly made waffle cone smacked us in the face and guided us in. So it's $5 for one scoop, $9 for two. +Two dollars if you want a waffle cone. Given we were lured in because of the smell of the cones, of course we got the cone! That was the easy part...the hard part? There are twenty different flavors of ice cream and sorbet to choose from! And the flavors will change! We were told that come October or so, there will be different flavors...sweet! But that's a lot of options to chose from. So we asked to try "It's hazelnut" and "House of Earl Grey" and...well, before we actually bothered to try anything else, we got scooped in. Each was great! There was no second guessing it, we found our flavor du jour. The ice cream is indeed creamy. It was not overly sweet. And freshly made waffle cones make it even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back for more. read more

Went in at the perfect time...they were serving fresh waffle cones. Omg the smell is to die for. Yummy sweet waffle cones being cooked right in front of you?! Love this location , so close to home and they also have taken our ice cream AND open late night. read more
