I came upon this place cuz was the only one that was open on Christmas . So I went and soma Asian older lady was doing my nails as she. Was doing me she cut me and I was bleeding . She just put her finger to cover it didnt even say sorry . She continue to do my nails they were shaped all ugly . Then some other lady switched with her I liked how she fixed my nails and the almond shape were done nicely . Then she switched Back to the older lady who painted my nails clear and I noticed they were all bubbly and not painted right . I left and since I was already 2 hours in that place . And did I mention I was the only customer and they still did a bad job . My nails lasted me a week then they came off . I will never go back to this place again . I've been here a few times now over the past year and a half. I was brought in by the price and kept coming because I got good service too. But the last couple of times have been pretty bad. The level of service has gone down. Kim is still a nice person but some of the new girls are a little lazy. They don't pay attention to detail and today was the last straw for me I went in to get a polish change on my acrylic nails that had glitter tips. It was not Gel polish but because it was glitter the girl just complained that it was difficult to take off and instead of trying to take off the Polish she said you help me...handed me a cotton ball soaked in nail polish and had me remove my own polish while she worked on my pedi...she looked up half way through and said "See it's hard to take off huh" I didn't know that I would be coming in to a nail shop to be lectured on the difficulty of taking off nail polish. I was paying for a service and ended up doing half the job myself. I finished taking off the polish and she was about to start my fingernails (applying polish) and I had to stop her...did she not see all the cotton ball mess in my nails. I said "Can I go wash my nails first? " she said if you want!....So i wash and dry my nails...she starts and does not put a bottom coat...applies 2 color coats and 1 top coat...nails look bad cause their is still traces of cotton that she did not bother to pick off instead she colored over it. Lazy...lazy lazy... Kim is nice and all but after this visit I wont be coming back. read more

My friend and I came here because a coworker had referred me to this place. Granted, it is cheaper, and the staff is very friendly, the quality is horrible. We both brought in pictures of what we wanted (they were simple designs), and they ended up looking nothing like what we has asked. My friend got a gel with sparkle, but there was hardly any sparkle in it... And, after a few days, her gel faded where the sparkles are supposed to be, and now looks like a crappy ombre. I've been coming here for years since my high school days and I always find myself coming back to this place. The staff here is very friendly and nice they are older Asian ladies but they are simply the sweetest most nicest people I've come across. Kim the owner is such a gem. The prices are also a big factor to why I keep coming back. I've seen a lot of the workers here come and go but almost all are amazing on what they do but if you can get your nails done and pedi by Kim she is the best to go with. She does get pretty busy and seems like she is by appointment only but if your lucky she will be the one to do the job. She takes her time and waiting for her is well worth it. The cons it's a very small place so when this place gets busy it gets busy and with only 2-4 staff some times the wait can be forever but they do work pretty fast. But at times it seems like they rush to get you in and out for the next customer to attend. So if your not happy with something just let them know and they will be more than happy to help you. So I suggest to come first thing when they open or call ahead of time. But almost always I get help right away. Overall this place may not be everyone's Cup of tea but the prices are great and the ladies are so nice. It was just a mess and I was not a happy customer. As much as I love coming to this place because of the prices I will be looking for another place for my pedis. This is just very unprofessional to not sanitized tools after being used 5 mins before. I thought they were supposed to use new ones each time they have a different customer. Great ladies! All very nice and professional. Prices are super cheap..$17 for gel manicure, $12 for pedicure! $3 for to soak off gel manicure. The ladies are very thorough and pay attention to detail. I like that pedicures are done in a plastic container that is lined with a plastic liner. The location is not the best but it does not bother me..next to a liquor store. read more

Yes.. Kim's nails is cheap. So is the quality and products they use. I got Pink & White Gel Acrylics. This is probably the worst French I've ever gotten. The products they use are cheap-looking, & low quality. I've never seen someone do a Pink & White Gel quite like Kim did.. So, I basically got what I paid for, lol. Lesson Learned read more

If you are looking to get a GEL manicure DO NOT COME HERE! I got a gel french manicure here on a Friday afternoon and by Tuesday 3 of my nails had already chipped. They put on too few coats of gel and it is not as durable and thick the way a real Gel manicure should be. I paid $11 a hand and was very upset I did not get what I paid for. My first time here last night! I came in at 7 pm and had to wait 45 mins for Kim to do my nails. I was getting pretty upset because I waited for a long time and they supposed to close at 7:30. Came here and took my girlfriend here for a pedicure plus manicure, the employees were just talking on the chairs doing nothing for 5 min while we waited behind the counter. Then when we finally got asked what we wanted the lady looked bothered because she had customers that actually came into the empty store. The place smelled terrible as if a skunk had came in. The lady that did her nails did them super rough I could tell by my girlfriends facial expressions. She then bled from nails. This was all before the 5 min pedicure she got that was way too over priced for the service. She told us in the beginning all together it'd be 40 but charged me 60, this is terrible no wonder the last couple of reviews have been bad. Stay away from this place. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would cus a 1 is not even worth it. Went in with my mom to get pedicure (regular). The ladies were not busy so they were able to attend to us. I will start with the chairs are very old leather sits. My chair for the massage happened to work but the button were so old that the lettering was rubbed off. My moms chair did not work at all. I had the bigger lady with glasses on. I felt like she was doing a good job then she completely flopped when she gave me a "massage" if you wanna call it one. I have never seen a place that puts lotion on your legs then have you dip your feet in water again to wash the lotion off she did not even use a hot towel. Now don't even get me started with the crap pedicure, I wanted a regular white colour pedicure. She was so fast as if their were other customers which they didn't have any. The minute she was done she put on my sandals and had me move to the waiting chair. Mind you the polish is still wet, so I bend down too look at my nails and I tell her the paint has already rubbed off she tells me to go back she will fix it, this is where it all went downhill. Overall I hated my nails and how rushed it was and how my feet were left dry and ashy since she washed off the lotion. It hasn't even been a white and the color has already chipped. And I saw some baby roaches at this establishment. Definitely WILL NEVER GO BACK, I should have listened to the other reviews. read more

I decided to try Kim nails because of the reviews I read on yelp. I love Kim nails! I came Monday evening around 6pm they were not busy at all. The place is tidy and the nail technician really take their time making sure your nails are done perfect! I got a gel manicure for $20 which is a great price because they pay great attention to detail when working on your nails. They don't work all quick style like other nail salons I've been to, they really take their time! Turns out they close at 7, but they still let me come in and stay, and got started on my nails pretty quickly. The woman who removed my gel nails was very gentle and precise.
