One of the worst nail experiences ever. I came in early Monday and I wanted a fill. I had to wait FOREVER for the lazy to specialized in that to come. She told the lady who was there to remove my existing gel color and she put the foil on. I also wanted my brows waxed. When the lady came she took me to the room to wax my brows and I didn't like how she did my brows with the foils on my fingers. Also the brows didn't turned out that good. After she was done she waxed anymore client and left me hanging. I took off the foils and saw that the nail tips are bending and weak. IT BROKE!!! I was mad because I wanted a FILL.... she left the foils on for too long so I just told her to remove them all.. At least she removed them correctly via soak off method... But she was RUSHING!!!! Also she treats older clients better than younger. She thought my mom was paying and told my mom I should get a facial and tried selling her products. EXCUSE ME!! I am the one paying!! read more

I needed a full set desperately for a same day event. My mom would take me to this salon when I was a child so I decided to come back after almost a decade. This nail salon needs a serious make over. It is dirty and not very welcoming. My nail technician was kind but she ignored my request for the type of French full set I requested. Before she started my set I asked her for the price and if she can do my requested French design. She said yes but when she started to work on my set I had to tell her many many many times that this was not what was requested. So it took her double the time to get closer to the French design I wanted! Again, sweet woman but please do better. read more

My husband and I got mani-pedis today and we are definitely "happy campers", lol. Our techs were Mary & Tammy. They are very sweet & thorough. They didn't have to be told about removing our ingrown toe nails & were very thorough with the callus removal process. 1 of my biggest pet peeves is when a tech doesn't let callus remover soak on your feet & rushes through the scrubing. We're so happy we found this place. We definitely will be back :) Prices are very reasonable considering the level of service. Mani-pedi: $25 Callus removal: $5 Sugar scrub: $5 Gel mani: $23 The only con is the parking. It's in the same Plaza as a market. Parking is kinda crazy. read more

My mom comes here on the regular. She treated me to a pedicure the other day and this was my first time coming here. I've run the gamut of nail shops...from the cushy/overly expensive to the ghetto/ "i'm scared to put my feet in the water" type. Luckily, this shop falls into neither category. Nestled in a Asian market strip mall (duh...its Garden Grove)...this place has only 3 spa chairs but I've gotta say..they're rather lovely...coffee colored pleather seats with cherry "wood" armrests and garnishings. For you artificial nail ladies, they have 4 nail stations made of ugly white plastic/formica tables. My favorite part of this place was that they had double doors on two sides of the four walls...and they were wide open bringing in lovely breezes (and occasionally some traffic noise). Mediocre nail polish choices with a few China Glaze and OPI mixed in (see picture). Service: standard for the cheap spots....primarily Vietnamese conversation amongst workers. My lady didn't appear to be bitter when I turned down the extras (salt scrub, wax wrap, etc) but I felt she sort of skimped at the end because of it. Apparently Mimi is the very best...she spent an inordinate amount of time perfecting some flowers she had painted on an elderly Vietnamese woman's hands and feet. read more

Came here for a $16 pedicure. That's $1 more than I usually pay... but anyway, I'm disappointed in the work. Some of my toes have a lighter coat than others so you can see my nail peeping through. To be honest, this was long overdue. My feet were nast, but I've gone longer without it and they did not do a good job. I still have crusty skin around my toes. I'm only giving this place 2 stars, because they were nice and they offered me a water bottle. But this was not worth $16 plus $2 tip. Would not return... read more

I called to see if I could come in to get a pedi .the lady said yes, come in .I have to wait 45min. Until she could do my pedi and when she was scrubbing my feet I was toss to until nail person .I didn't like being tossed around. Then when the second lady was about to polish my toes another customer was being impatient, so the second lady was going to do the other customers toes and dumped me with someone else I felt she just dismissed me .I felt like a low class citizen. Was walking by, decided to get a mani/pedi during lunch, since they said it would take about a half hour. Asked if I wanted to have stronger nails, since I bite mine, and I said sure. She ended up doing a powder dip, which I had never had before, and wasn't sure what to expect. It looked terrible, but I thought, well, she'll probably fix them? The way she was talking made it seem like she was trying to upsell me to have fake nails put on, so I said "I don't want my nails long" - She took this to mean "File down my nails totally flat and as short as humanly possible, way below the fingers." She did this part super fast, leaving me with tiny fat stumps that looked like someone had put pink chiclets where my nails used to be. I started to visibly panic at this point, and said that wasn't what I had wanted - she blamed me for saying that I didn't want them long, then said she'd fix them. She put fake acrylic tips on the end of the powder dipped nails to try to remedy the situation. She didn't add any real definition to them either between my cuticle and my nail, because she had already cut my cuticle, causing it to bleed, and said she couldn't because I had thin cuticles. 2 1/2 hours hours later I left with huge, crooked, bumpy and bazaar looking nails, when all I had wanted was a simple manicure.She charged me for everything she did to make my nails terrible, continuing to blame me for them, and pointing out how well she did. At list point I paid the overpriced fee because I just wanted to leave and try to salvage them somewhere else. The pedicure was fine, aside from them not having the color that I picked out, and instead of telling me, trying to invent a pearly pink by using bright hot pink and layering top coat of pearl white over it. It didn't work, and the toenails didn't dry. Worst nail job ever. Do not go. read more

I was desperate to get my nails fixed this morning before a big meeting so I called this place to see if they could see me at 8:30 and they were more than happy to! When I got there, there was only one person working there, which makes sense since the shop wasn't open yet. The lady that helped me took her time and made sure my old gel polish was completely removed and took care of my cuticles. I was super happy with the amount of care she put into my nails. Miley the new salon owner was super helpful and answered all of my questions and made me an appointment to fit my crazy schedule. Terrible! I saw this place while parking my car to go grocery shopping. I thought it was convenient since I'm already in the same plaza then I could save time. The old lady overcharged me. I paid $40 for a mani-pedi. She kept trying to upsell and sell other services. I only wanted a simple mani-pedi. She kept pushing for the gel. I tried the gel manicure because she said it lasts for 3 weeks. Mine only lasted for 1 1/2 weeks! I was very careful when I did things with my hands. It started flaking and falling off. Terrible. She pushed for other stuff like sugar scrub, spa pedi, foot massage, etc. Every add-on was another $5 to $10 dollars. By the time it was over and I went to the counter to pay, she said $40 for everything. She didn't give a receipt or list the stuff she did. It wasn't worth arguing with her because she was an old lady and she didn't speak good English. I will never go back to this place again. read more

I am so disappointed in this place. We were in the OC for Xmas break with my family. The girls, all 5 of us were out for a spa day and decided to finish it off with a mani/pedi. I called many places to make sure they could accommodate 5 ppl, and this was one of them. First off, this place is a bit hard to find. We drove past it a few times. If you feel so inclined to go after hearing my experience, find the pho place and it's next door. We had appointments at 2pm for 5 ppl, we get there, there are 2 ppl working only. They have clients already. This place is small. They have 4 pedi chairs and 3 nail stations. My father was flying in at 5pm, so we figured 3 hours would be enough time to finish and pick him up at the airport. I'm not going into full detail, but when we questioned over and over if there were other workers coming, they assured us there were. They set up pedi stations for two of us, so we just went with it. 2 hours later, one worker showed up and sad to say, we had the crappiest mani/pedis done ever!!!!! First off, I get it, you want the money and don't want to lose clients, but this is such bad business. Then to top it off, they did such crappy jobs. STAY AWAY from this place. Even if I didn't have to wait this long, as long as I get a decent mani/pedi, I wouldn't be so negative here. When we finally got done, it was after 6pm....... such a disappointment. read more

My go to place! Today Helen did my nails, showed her the picture that inspired me and she did not disappoint. It was nice and quite which is why i love this place. I think most of the other workers that work there only focus on pedicures cause they only have one nail tech that focuses on acrylics at least when i go there. Prices aren't too bad. Gel set costed 35 plus the 2 nail designs an extra 5 dollars so 40 for the full set and the tip extra. Not too bad might be a little more convenient to make an appointment if you're in a rush i did have to wait until she finished with the customer before me but i had extra time. read more

Love love this place. I first came to April to do my nails and wendy for my pedi. They did a pretty good job (pedicure was AWESOME and im very picky). April did a good job at shaping and design was pretty on point! But the couple times i came back i got this other lady(i forget her name) but she does everything suuuupppeeerrr slow... she took 30 min removing my gel first mistaking it for regular polish.. then when she scrubbed with the callous remover (idk what its called) she made no effort to even see where needed to be scrubbed... that partwas over in bout 2 minutes. I was on a tight but she took so long the rest of my schedule got pushed back... i made a appointment with Wendy idk why i got her‍ coloring was alright. Not coming back for pedicures anymore LOL.
