    WOW!!! is all I can say about the amazing experience that I had with Alesha Ballon! She is a brilliant wedding planner and truly helped me complete the image that I had for my wedding. She refers fantastic vendors, is very responsive, and has a true passion for the work that she is doing. Somehow Alesha had managed to make my special day her number one priority and be completely calm and perfect even though she was getting on a plane for Europe early the next morning - she is that good. I would recommend her services to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding that they want to remember for the rest of their life! She treats you like you are her only client and sincerely knows how to put on an incredible event! Thank you Alesha!!!

    WOW, WOW, WOW! Alesha Ballon is absolutely the BEST planner! Being a long distance bride from South Florida, I knew how important it would be to select the perfect planner for our wedding at Estancia in La Jolla, California on 3/26/16. Alesha was so sweet, thoughtful, and always went the extra mile to ensure we were happy in every phase of the planning/ wedding. She is very experienced in the profession and wow does it show. I really appreciate that Alesha is always "Team Bride & Groom" as she looks out for your best interests and over the years has built wonderful relationships with many of the vendors in the SD/La Jolla area. Our wedding was absolutely flawless...my husband and I believe Alesha deserves all the credit! Our family and friends even fell in love with her as she found little moments throughout the reception to ensure everyone in our party was happy and comfortable. When it's all said and done...and the dress goes back on the hanger....it's a great feeling knowing that not only do we have wonderful wedding memories to look back on, but I also walked away with a lifelong friend. I was less than five months away from my wedding and really beginning to feel the heat. I emailed her later that day inquiring about what sort of services she provided. She responded promptly and we set up a day to meet. We met at a local coffee shop and discussed everything I needed to know; I asked questions and she gave me answers, and in turn she took notes on every detail of my wedding (thus far). She was professional, warm and friendly and I felt comfortable discussing my special day with someone who seemed to know so much about the business of wedding coordination. I knew as soon as our initial meeting was over I knew that I wanted to work with Jen. I checked with my soon-to-be husband and family and we finalized our decision with a simple contract to use Jen for her "Day Of" coordination. We had a few meetings between then and the wedding, but most of our communication was through email and phone. She visited my venue with me shortly before the wedding to help me smooth out a couple of kinks, and gave me options and ideas for any other problem I had. Fast-forward to our wedding day. Everything went PERFECTLY. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am that we decided to work with Jen. My dad had arrived at the venue hours before I did to help set up, and later couldn't stop expressing how impressed he was with Jen's professionalism. When the rental company, caterers and guests showed up, she directed everyone exactly where they needed to go. I had also wanted to make a cute sign to help mark the path for our guests but hadn't found time; Jen arrived the morning of the wedding with the most adorable sign she made just for us! Such a sweet, simple gesture that meant so much. Our wedding went off without a hitch, I didn't have to think about anything, and she made sure I remembered to eat amongst all the fluster :) We couldn't have been happier! We only had her services…read morefor the day-of coordination, but she was more than happy to meet with us ahead of time, and also give us guidance on what planning activities we would need to do on our own, that really helped us plan effectively for what we would need to do. For the rehearsal, and for the big day she was incredible! She had back-up bobby pins to fix a bridesmaids dress when a strap snapped as we were walking in to the venue. She helped us accommodate for traffic, and then once the day started, she took care of everything. My wife or I didn't have to worry about anything, she guided us on where to go when, corralled our parties for pictures, and made sure we always had a beer in hand. Jen and her partner really took away all the stress of the day, and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy it. She was able to work closely with the venue to make sure everything worked, deal with tough conversations, and overall just made everything amazing. Thank you to Jen and Day of Love!

She knew when to ramp up our frequency of meetings and she also knew when to tell us to relax and not worry about stuff. We like that she comes with the aisle planner software and lets us access it. She provided a thorough checklist for us with indications of when an item on the list should be completed by. She was very accessible and we knew we could count on her to respond quickly even if our question was not urgent. As our florist in addition to our planner, she helped a lot with some last-minute florals that we wanted to do and made sure everything happened very smoothly. When we couldn't find any freshly squeezed juice near me Melissa was eager to help and make sure we had that by the time of the wedding. Everyone was impressed at how quickly the venue was able to transform between the different stages of the wedding and how knowledgeable Melissa was. We really appreciated about how Melissa joined us in our vendor meetings and kept in touch with them for us. We definitely would've gotten overwhelmed if we did not have Melissa.

She thought of every detail, from preparing us in advance to get those dreamy photos (like the first kiss and cake cutting) to ensuring everything ran on schedule without a hitch. On the day, Elena was a true lifesaver. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception, I never once had to worry about where I needed to be or what was next. She kept everything moving smoothly, pointing me in the right direction while allowing me to fully enjoy the company of our guests and the magic of the day. Her strong working relationship with RBI was incredibly valuable throughout the planning process and made everything feel seamless. Since I'm not local to the San Diego area and didn't always have a clear vision of exactly what I wanted, Gina's recommendations and guidance were invaluable. Anytime I needed vendor suggestions, she immediately sent thoughtful recommendations, and whenever I wanted to dive deeper into details, she made it happen. We met in person multiple times leading up to the wedding weekend, and she helped bring all of the details together so beautifully. From the very beginning, Julie was upfront with us that she wouldn't be available on our wedding day, but that she would handle all the planning and have her lead coordinator, Yoly, there for the day of. On our wedding day, Yoly did a phenomenal job--she executed everything seamlessly and kept the entire event running right on time. We were especially grateful to the team for pivoting so smoothly and getting everyone on the same page when we had to make last-minute changes. Julie is extremely detail-oriented. We started working with her six months before the wedding, and she was always prompt in answering my many questions and helping me think through ideas. Even though we had already negotiated and finalized all of our vendors, we weren't entirely sure how everything would come together. Julie created a very detailed timeline, caught small gaps in our event rentals, and ensured everything stayed on track. When unexpected issues came up with our original rental company just five days before the wedding, we had to switch vendors and push the ceremony back by half an hour. Julie and her team handled the change with ease, keeping everything calm and organized. Thank you so much to both Julie and Yoly for helping make our day absolutely perfect. Julie was amicable, professional, attentive, and willing to get on calls with us throughout the covid ordeal. What we loved about Julie is that although there was a long period between our original date and new wedding date, she was extremely organized with the original notes from the venue, us, and any discussions we had with the vendors. Plus, she has excellent relationships and connections with the local vendors. Julie doesn't play around either! She tells it how it is and won't sugarcoat things for you. She will let you know if something is a good idea or not but will always side with what you want as a couple. The day of our wedding, we did not notice ANYTHING GO WRONG. If anything did happen, we weren't aware or she fixed it right away. She made the whole day flow flawlessly. I would HIGHLY recommend Julie as your wedding planner. We booked her for the month but honestly, the month service became almost a two year service commitment. She is reasonably priced for her years of expertise and you can't beat her price compared to other wedding planners that may offer less services in their packages. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND for booking her for the month of coordination service. I am a very hands on person so I loved planning my wedding but Julie was the icing on the cake I needed. That last month before your wedding, YOU WILL NEED HELP and of course, the day of your wedding. Our venue provided in-house event coordinators but Julie completed the team. Again, highly recommend Julie, from The Best Wedding For You in San Diego, CA for your wedding, whether it is for the month of coordination, month of coordination Plus, or a full service coordination.
