Someone different every time I come in. My bone to pick is that I have been saving up my points - then they just switched to 'an app' for reward points which I have no interest in downloading or using. But, "sorry sir", that means you lose all your points / credit / cash". Umm. What? Is that even legal?! Do not force your patrons to install apps. Period. To boot, no bathroom, careful coming here with your kid... They also won't give you a cup of water, they force you to buy a box of water... yet there is a bowl of water on the floor for dogs, lol. I almost took a sip. Lastly, the digital menu is consistently covered with paper when they are out of stock. Update the menu. Honestly, feels like these guys started a cool thing and stopped paying attention. It's 2 stars because the staff cares. Otherwise it would be a zero from me. I won't be going back. read more

I was greeted by the employee Mr. Gabe he was so nice and heart warming he really made that experience great for a first timer. He went above and beyond I really enjoy this spot more than the others because I've never had a good experience at other everbowls. Not sure what happened to this place but it's completely bunk now. It used to be my favorite place to get an açaí bowl so I'm really disappointed. They took like everything off the menu that was so good, and for some reason don't have dates anymore? And they can't blend anything into the base, it's just açaí. Which whatever pre-made açaí stuff they're using now is not very good, like others said, it's too sweet. They also hella skimp on the toppings now, I literally got home and had to add in more of my own toppings because they didn't do enough at all! Like what's the point of paying for this overpriced smoothie bowl if you're not going to give me the toppings I paid for?? This used to be such a good inexpensive place to get a bowl, and now it's expensive as hell for literally no reason since they completely downgraded and suck now. I was honestly trying to avoid putting a "meh" review for this place because I like their açaí bowls, but man every time I come here the service just keeps getting crappy. I really thought it was just me seeing this, but a couple of people mentioned it about the employees showing their unhappy facial expressions that more customers are walking. I would sometimes go during the day after my workouts and I feel like the girls who work during the day have a slighter better attitude compared to the ones that work at night. I come in and they greet their customers. I come in at night and get no greeting. A simple "Hi, what can I get for you tonight?" would be nice to get the silent awkwardness out of the air from the employee who is just standing in front of me not saying anything. I only come back to this location because its closer to home, but honestly if there was another location in the nearby city or area I'll definitely make a drive to it. read more

I used to give this place 5 stars but they have stopped making their bases fresh to order. It's now pre-made and the açaí is overly sweet and scooped out like ice cream. I've been a huge fan since they opened their first location in Poway. I was hooked and even got all my coworkers addicted as well. However they have made some drastic changes which is why I will not be a returning customer. Those new to Everbowl will never get to know how good it used to be. I thought this new "2.0" addition would be only to select locations, but looks like they've implemented it at all their stores. This new açaí that they switched to is disgusting. Love this location. Always clean when I visit. The service is always with a smile and quick. My favorite thing about this place is they never skimp. Sometimes the lid looks like it's going to explode so 9 times out of ten I save some for later. Pointer if you're going to save it then put it in the freezer and then let it thaw. This updated review is long overdue! I tried this place again, and added agave to the everbowl. It makes a biiiig difference and makes the açaí not watery. It's still not my favorite acai place, but I've gotten it a few times with agave added, and it's a solid bowl. The PB option they have was also really good! read more

I'm an Everbowl fan. However, today I entered the Escondido store an hour after opening to order an Açaí bowl. The young woman working asked me to come back later. The Açaí was too frozen and she couldn't scoop it into the cup. I suggested she try putting the scoop under hot water. She did. With great effort she was able to put a small amount in a cup. We tried other bases. After at least 20 minutes of extreme patience on my part, I left with a small bowl. I've no idea how long the other two customers behind me waited. I can't imagine this business can succeed. I will certainly look for a different location. I don't blame the young woman. She was clearly put in a difficult position. Whoever owns or runs this location needs to come up with a better system. read more

I used to go here near daily, despite the employees always closing an hour earlier than posted, but it's been a minute. How disappointing to see not only the prices pretty much doubled but now the Whatever Bowl is limited to 3 toppings. I guess it's not a whatever bowl... should just call it the 3 topping rip off. They say it's due to the supply chain and profits being low. I bet profits would return if you weren't losing your OG customers by the 100s. This review section speaks for itself. Reality is you tried a well known marketing gimmick to get people in at a low price and turn up the heat little by little like frogs in a boiling pot but you went too far lowering quality and increasing price and nobody wants it now. This place is chill vibes. The bowls are good but they are weird like sometimes you come and they are closed before closing hours. Sometimes you come and they are out of straws or spoons. I get that stuff happens but it's just weird. This place is always dead no line not too many people there. I love it it's a bit pricey but large easily feeds 2-4 with little ones so my family has two little boys and we can all share so it makes the pricing more fair! I'd been hearing about Everbowl for months, but up until the other day I hadn't been able to actually get in and try it myself. I wish I had wised up way earlier! They do a really great product with a very efficient process. Everbowl Escondido is a hit and miss. Some days are great and everyone is excited and happy to help you but then other days the customer service is terrible and unprofessional. I just come because it's way closer, but I always do a phone order now. But back to the customer service, it's super unprofessional. I walked in today and this girl comes in obnoxiously yelling at some other girl in the back about my order. Maybe because we're around the same age she thought it was ok? My friend recommended this place and I love it! We ordered "whatever bowl"-with the açaí with apple juice and peanut butter then I added the agave syrup and all of the fruit and seeds. I've ordered from Everbowl at a different location but I wasn't that big of a fan. I'm really disappointed in the new Everbowl 2.0. You used to be able to choose what liquid to use for your base, but now they're all pre-made with coconut milk (not keeping people w/ allergies in mind), they ADD sugar (their whole thing used to be no added sugar), and they increased the prices. I used to come here so often that the workers even know my dog's name, but I don't think I'm gonna go back to a business that prioritizes money over health and happy customers. Tried this place for the first time today, looking for something different for breakfast. My wife has been here and spoke highly of it, so I figured I'd give it a shot. The server was kind and patient with me as I asked questions, I'd never had an acai bowl before. I got the Everbowl and it was delicious! Fresh fruit, granola and an ice cream like base. The bowls are awesome. But the consistency in getting the same bowl each time is absolutely awful. Every time my bowl has something different about it regardless of how consistent I am with ordering. Sometimes they add honey, sometimes not. Sometimes they put extra PB, more often they don't. Sometimes they make the bowl I order, sometimes they go on autopilot and disregard the things I ask. Frustrating, because the process is so quick, I don't have a chance to ask for my bowl to be correct. I really love these bowls, but it seems to me that if the employees had a lunch rush or are tired the bowls quickly become very blah. I have worked in a smoothie bowl shop before, so I get it, but if I'm spending $9 on it I'd like it how I order it. ‍ Edit: forgot to mention, when I walked in, the employee up front looked very exasperated. It had lots of peanut butter (yum!), topped with bananas, coconut and my choice: raspberries and chia seeds. It was my first time at Everbowl and like previously stated, my first time having an açaí bowl, the attendant explained the menu and the different options available. Came in here today, I got the paradise bowl. It was so Yummy, so refreshing, and filling! I do feel like $9 might be a bit pricy but it is worth it for what they give you. The only thing that I was iffy about with mine was that it was suppose to have mango and I never tasted any mango on mine it mainly had pineapple and kiwi. Which also the pineapple tasted like it was canned pineapple. I don't know if that is what they used but definitely tasted like that. I tried my sisters and it was pretty good as well.
