We had some flooding in our basement and scheduled a quote with Everdry. They came out to our basement, looked around for a few minutes, then spent about 2 hours trying to sell us on a $30,000 drain tile repair. We then had an independent drain tile inspector come out. He didn't even run the drain tile test - said he wouldn't take our money because there were absolutely no signs that the drain tile was malfunctioning. He told us the water came in through our windows and we should spend about $500 fixing the drainage in our window wells and do some landscaping work to regrade away from the house, and that should fix our issues. I would highly recommend staying away from Everdry - they use scare tactics and old fashioned sales-tactics to try to get you to sign a contract for unnecessary work. read more

I am filing a complaint regarding misleading warranty terms and poor customer service from Everdry Waterproofing. In 2018-2019, we chose Everdry Waterproofing for basement waterproofing services. Their quote was significantly higher than other companies--approximately $8,000-$10,000 more--but we agreed to move forward based on the strength of the warranty they promoted. The salesperson clearly stated that the warranty was a lifetime, transferable warranty, requiring only a $50 annual maintenance fee. We were also told that if we ever fell behind on these yearly payments,we could simply catch up by paying the missed years and the warranty would remain valid. Recently, we experienced an issue and contacted Everdry to bring our account current by paying the missed annual fees. However, we were informed that we are no longer allowed to catch up on past payments. The company stated that they no longer permit this because customers tend to call only when problems arise, and that reinstating coverage would cost them money to repair their failed system. This directly contradicts what was clearly explained to us at the time of purchase and was a key factor in our decision to choose their higher-priced service. We relied on these representations in good faith. I believe this constitutes misleading sales practices and failure to honor the terms as they were presented. I am requesting that Everdry honor the original agreement by allowing us to pay the outstanding maintenance fees and reinstate our warranty as promised. read more

I wish I'd read these reviews regarding Everdry before I signed a contract. They installed drain tile and a sump pump in December 2025. I had a representative come out and check water seepage near the north wall where drain tile was placed. Water is seeping through cracks that appeared after cement cured when it rained. The agent said wait until there's a "normal rainfall." Then see what happens. All basements get water from flooding in Wisconsin. They definitely sing a different tune after the work is done. An alternative is to have them drill holes in floor and simulate a normal rainfall. Also left a mess in the yard. But the project manager added a sign off sheet saying they were not responsible for any damage to the house. I am sure the warranty has limits in small print regarding "normal rainfall conditions." I'm a senior and would like to redo my once finished basement, sell my house, and find a maintenance free condo. I feel really taken advantage of by the sales staff. They're a piece of work. We had a complete waterproof system, both inside and outside installed by Everdry. Waterproofing Waukesha. This is a costly process and we were hoping for a positive experience. The project took three days with a team of approximately seven workers led by project manager, Mike. Mike did a fine job communicating. While anticipating a messy job, it was far more disruptive than we had anticipated . The morning the project began, we were asked to sign off on any damages to our home that might occur. We were taken aback by this request. Red flag! They laid down protective material on the hardwood floors between outside door and basement. There were no protective material added to either doors or woodwork. They haul in and out rock, concrete they removed from basement floor, etc. They asked to be able to use our restroom facilities and we agreed (reluctantly). They did not add floor protection and the floors were filthy. Someone plugged the toilet and did not let us know. With a crew of this size a porta potty would be useful. They are hard workers and were polite. The outside cleanup was not good, They left rock all over yard and driveway. We are hopeful that the project will eliminate our basement issues. Only time will tell. Would we do this again, not sure. read more

I answered the door to see what it was all about and the young boy had no interest - dropped the flyer at my feet and turned his back to me walking away while trying to talk to him. Unacceptable. And when I questioned the exorbitant price tag from Everdry, they gave me some convoluted explanation about their "premium materials" and "top-notch service," and their "patented process." Their patent is wildly unnecessary because even if it wasn't patented, no one would do it that way in the first place - it's a waste of time and money. I mean, who needs a $2,000 fan installed in a basement waterproofing job? No one. Let's call a spade a spade: it's blatant price gouging, plain and simple. But the real kicker? Their shameless targeting of people that do not know the process of foundation/basement waterproofing. It's despicable. They exploit people's lack of knowledge to squeeze every last penny out of them. For example, how much the labor going to cost versus materials? I honestly believe they won't tell you because they are embarrassed to say it's all inflated for their own gain. Yes I am married, however we have conflicting schedules. I am also the one who pays for any updates or repairs on the house. It turns out some of the walls down there had some cracks that were letting water seep in. After calling them, we set up an appointment extremely easily and got a comprehensive estimate and explanation of what would be done. Shortly thereafter, we were scheduled to get the work done, which took less than a week to complete! They not only sealed the cracks and installed a dehumidifier, but they also added a sump pump and dug around the house to seal the cracks from the outside using their patented method. We couldn't be happier with how the work turned out, and now our basement is dry as a bone over a year after the work was done. I can emphatically state that Everdry is unquestionably the worst company I have ever experienced on any level. Dealing with this company has consistently been a nightmare. The only smooth aspects of my experience were when they sold me the job, and when they took my money. Everything else has been a disaster, both in the figurative and literal sense. There is virtually no consistency between what is promised and actual results. Virtually everything this company has told me has proven grossly misleading or completely false, and as confirmed by one of their own employees who says they put on a "false front", deception appears to be the cornerstone of their business model. The service I received is not remotely worth what I paid, also confirmed by employees of Everdry. The so-called warranty appears to be designed more to protect the company against their use of sub-standard labor, and less designed to protect the home owner against aberrations in quality or unforeseen events. I was promised a professional installation and peace of mind; I have neither. Of course, how can you expect a professional installation when service workers (at least some of them) are paid $13 per hr under the pretense that they are "learning a trade". Dealing with this company is like dealing with a small child; they are constantly testing boundaries, listen selectively when you talk to them, will regularly take advantage of you when you let them, and struggle doing anything unless you relentlessly pester them and regularly hold them accountable because they don't show the ability to do it themselves. The crew that was sent was not qualified to do the job. They showed a lack of maturity, lack of consideration for my property, and insufficient investment in performing a quality job. Much of the work was rushed, sloppy, and incomplete, and my home was left in disarray. The "follow-up" work was also incomplete and was met with a similar level of indifference. I was concerned that my exterior wall was not properly sealed, which was essentially ignored by the service manager. When the wall leaked worse than before after the first hard rain, follow-up work was scheduled and found that the workmanship was poor and the wall was not sealed, compromising the whole system. The first hard rain after that the wall is still leaking. Other work that was supposed to be completed during the follow-up was not. One of the men sent for the follow-up stated that the whole job was done poorly, and not worth what I paid. He told me that his company puts on a "false front", which I was already well aware, and he discourages anyone he knows from using them. He also asked me who the foreman for the job was, and when I told them it was Brandon, they had no clue who that was. This company has proven time and time again that they are unwilling and incapable of completing the most fundamental aspects of the job they are hired for, rendering any so called warranty completely useless. To quote Everdry's own literature, "A warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it." Update: I got a moisture detector to determine what condition my concrete blocks are in after the initial work and the follow-up work was done halfway then abandoned by Everdry. To no suprise, many blocks measure at the halfway point or higher for moisture, and a handful of blocks are off the charts. read more

He was offering a free service for Everdry to inspect my basement walls. Since I wasn't able to book something right away I would get what felt like spam calls. Multiple calls a day trying to find a time for them to stop by. Due to the constant calls I finally answered and provided the availability. Satisfied. It's been over 10 years now since Everdry came out and repaired my basement. It started out with a small step crack, then a lateral crack on three walls, caused by saturated clay expansion. Then the walls bowed and were near collapse. I could literally see dirt through the crack in my in basement walls! Everdry came out without delay. The work they were doing was explained in great detail and conducted professionally. Workers left very little visible mess. It was a huge job. My surrounding soil was excavated from around the foundation. The walls were straightened and the outside was protected by a sealant and vapor barrier. Support beams were erected to ensure structural stability. The basement floor was removed to facilitate new drain tube and air gap. A new sump pump and crock were installed. The corner of the basement with the step crack was removed and replaced. Finally the gutter downspouts were re-routed from my sewer drain. My backyard is still a swamp, however my basement is bone dry. When it rains, the sump pump operates normally and quietly. The air exchanger in the basement removes the damp dank air. Some of the dirt from the excavation had settled and created a low spot in the yard. Two calls to ever dry resulted in a crew that came and corrected the problem. It has since settled a little more due to the amount of dirt that was removed, but I'm sure another phone call will correct this issue. I am very happy with my service and will continue to recommend Everdry to anyone who has issues with water or moisture in their basement. I had four other estimates. Everdry came in right in the middle, however offered a lifetime warranty. I was sold. If you have any kind of basement issues at all, give ever dry a call. You will not be disappointed. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Incomplete shoddy work, and theft! DO NOT GO WITH EVERDRY! My husband and I ignored the bad reviews and figured they were just angry customers nitpicking. We were wrong. Same thing happened to us as the other people giving low stars. We had two different consultants and one manager from Everdry come to our home and we were told that their crews would be digging 8' down around the entire perimeter of our 1,400sqft home, replacing the drain tile in the basement, and re-taring the foundation from the outside. We needed a second sump pump added, and they were to install a ventilating system so we would no longer need a dehumidifier. The price was high but we figured it was justified with the amount of work they would be doing. We did call a few days after we signed the contract to see what we could do to get out of the contract if we couldn't come up with the funds in time and were told there is no way out of the contract and that "Everdry is known for punishing people who try to break the contract and will burry people in fines and court fees". So, be aware before you sign! What they say and what they actually do are two vastly different things. They only dug about 2-3' down around small sections of the house. When asked why they weren't doing the entire perimeter as we were initially told they claimed it was because the back of the house had a concrete patio and part of the house had an overhang. So basically the ENTIRE back length of our house was not waterproofed. There is also at least 4' along the front of the house not waterproofed because the front steps were in the way. They broke one of the basement windows and our WASTE PIPE! They left unfilled holes, they didn't line all the walls with the corrugate plastic strips and they covered pipe valves in concrete leaving them unusable. They used my husband's tools and some of his materials for their work. They left drips of concrete all over our basement and dumped the left over concrete in our back yard (We have to dig that out of our lawn) and to top it all off the crew STOLE FROM US! A few Milwaukee tools, an extension cord and a $60 lead paint ventilator mask. When I called Everdry about this the receptionist initially tried to brush it off and cover it up. I finally got her to make the supervisor (Andy) call me back and he only tried to make excuses for the crew's theft and terrible work. I told him I was calling the police and then all of a sudden his demeanor changed. He said he would fix the broken window and the waste pipe "to get back into good faith with us" and he offered to replace the stolen items. I did file a police report with the New Berlin Police Department but decided not to press charges because Andy did replace the stolen items. (Except for the mask. We're still waiting on that.) Apparently $26,300 paid to Everydry will get you a partially done shoddy job, theft, and a huge mess to clean up. My advice? Don't go with Everdry. If you're one of the unfortunate stuck in a contract? Make sure you remove anything of value from the work area and keep a close eye on the crew! Over the years it started getting worse so we made the decision to have it fixed. I looked on-line at all the options out there and we called Everdry after seeing a commercial about them. After talking to the salesman, we felt their fix was the best and decided to go with them. It's one of those gut feelings, I did not call anyone else. One thing I was surprised to hear is that they were going to complete the work in two days. Now you have to understand, most of the work is done by hand and all the waste material from the basement is carried out in 5-gallon buckets. We setup a time for them to start and I wasn't able to be there so my wife stayed home. They always kept her well informed on what was going on. We had the work done in 2010 and our basement has been dry ever since. When it rains hard our sump pump runs every 45 seconds or so. On June 29, 2017 our sump pump went out. This was not good since we were leaving for a vacation in a few days for the 4th of July. I called them in the morning and on they said they would be out the next day to check it out. They came on the 30th and replaced the compete system, it also has a battery back-up. This was all covered under warrant since we have continued the yearly service plan. We are really happy with the work and are glad we had it done. It was money well spent and if we ever decide to sell our house this will be a great selling point. Oh!
