What a great spot! I was SO PLEASED with the friendly and kind service, fantastic menu/food options, and the comfortable and hip atmosphere. My friend and I had the Mo:Mo dumplings to start and they were delicious! We then shared Chicken Tikka and Lamb Saag - both were very good! We also had naan - both garlic and plain. Tried it on a whim for date nigh dinner with hubby. Did not disappoint. Hubby got pork fried rice with pineapple and I ordered the drunken man noodles. Mine was amazing!! His was exactly what you would expect from fried rice. We also ordered some Pad Thai as a safety net backup. Really good!! The sauce is not like what other restaurants have served us but still tasty! Very good food here! The Indian food does not disappoint. We enjoy this place regularly enjoying several of their culinary delights. The service is good and the staff is attentive. I agree with the other reviewer. There is a foul stench permeating in the entire restaurant. The stench hits you as soon as you walk in. It smells like a water/sewer issue. Consequently, with all of the good reviews, we decided to stay. Wow!!!! I need to ask - where are these reviews coming from??? Family members?? Friends?? We ordered the chicken tikka masala, general tso chicken, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were fried so hard they were hard and inedible. The two entrees were so bland and tasteless!! I also had a piece of gristle or uncooked chicken in my masala. I couldn't tell because the sauce concealed it. Our waitress seemed like her parents made her work on a holiday weekend. She was not interested in the patrons. At. All. I would not recommend nor return. I have had better masala in my kitchen and general tso's chicken from a carry out. Granted it was a hot day but it was hot and stuffy inside. Only our table and one other and 2 wait staff so we had our own waitress. You would assume the service would be good but it wasn't. Out of drinks and she never followed up to see how the meal was. She was sitting about 10 feet from us with her nose in her phone. After we ordered we noticed the 87% sanitation grade. Food was pretty good despite the naan being pita bread. Since we love Indian food I may go back to get some instead of driving into Raleigh or Cary for it. read more

I read the mixed reviews and put off going back to this place. My first visit we walked in and walked out, was way too crowded and yes there were flies in there. But yesterday I was on my way to get a slice of pizza at the local place nearby and a couple was eating out on the sidewalk area. I asked and they said it was very good. I decided to give them a try as I have been craving Indian food for a while. I ordered it as Take-Out. Got the Lamb Vendaloo medium spicy with a side of Garlic Nan bread. Got it home it was WONDERFUL!! I could not finish it and ate the rest the following day. If I was to eat there, I would opt for outside seating with a view of the happenings in Wendell. My food was great, waitress was friendly, there nothing to worry about here folks I give them a thumbs up. read more

Came in for lunch on a Monday with only one more table of customers. I was able to sit where ever I like. Ordered Palek Paneer lunch special. The couple before me raced about their order of Drunken noodles and Chicken Tikka. My order came it's steamed rice and a good serving of Palek Paneer I requested for mild and it was really good with a good serving of cheese cubes. I ordered a dessert of Gulab Jamun which just had the right amount of sweetness. The server was very nice and they even refilled my Coke. All in all it was a good experience. read more

We ordered the chicken mo mo for an appetizer. Very good dumplings. We ordered chicken pad Thai and curry chicken as our meal. They both presented beautifully and tasted good. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is more like a hole in the wall not a night on the town as you can see from the picture. read more

Wings are super soggy. Pretty sure they nuke them. Menu says blue cheese come with but when I ordered they said they did not have any blue cheese dressing.Was hanging out at the brewery next-door luckily another restaurant down the street had some blue cheese dressing. First time here. The menu is Indian, Chinese, Thai & American. I ordered chicken tenders, which comes with fries, and a side salad. The chicken tenders were a couple chicken breasts cut in half, breaded and deep fried. They were crunchy and very tasty. The side salad was fresh and large. My wife eat the fries and said they were good. The service was attentive and helpful. I can see Thai and Indian food being served. It looks great with large portions. read more

I used to love this place but my past few visits have me convinced the restaurant is going downhill. I had never noticed before but lately there's been an awful smell that fills the entire dining area making it impossible to eat in peace. Sometimes the food is delicious and sometimes it's burnt and overcooked. Sometimes the restaurant seems clean and sometimes there are 10 or more flies trying to land on your food. Sometimes the service is decent and sometimes it's terrible. The overall ambiance is completely off and unfortunately at this point I'd rather just go to another restaurant. read more

I had a long, flowery review of this place back when it first opened, but it looks like that page got taken down and replaced with this one. So I'll be brief and to the point. This place is the best thing to happen to Wendell. You get not only Indian, not only Thai, but even Chinese, and even some American dishes -- and they're all *phenomenal*. (Well, I haven't really tried the American stuff, I figure that's just there for when you've got some picky eaters or kids in the group.) This is the only place where I've ever felt inspired to rave about an eggplant. Yes, eggplant. It was in the green Thai curry. Just a chunk of eggplant, nothing seemingly special about it. The food was OK and the portions were a good size. But like an earlier posted review, the dish I ordered said it came with a spring roll. But it never came and when I asked about it the waiter said. "we don't do that anymore". He had zero concern that the menu promised something that they wouldn't honor. When I pressed, he said I could order it off the appetizer menu if I wanted one. He didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with not providing what was on the menu. I probably won't go back because I am not sure they are trustworthy. read more

Update: I've been back a dozen more times and each time was fantastic. The Thai green curry is amazing. My new favorite is the Tikka Masala. Sooooooo good!!! I was skeptical at first because they have so many cuisines on the menu, but wow, this place is GOOD! I've eaten there twice this month and each time my food has been delicious. The Thai food is really excellent. I've had the dragon noodles and the Pad Thai. It's hard to pick a favorite. The portions are quite big so ask for a take away box. This is my absolute favorite restaurant of Eastern Wake County. I came for the Thai red curry and shrimp which is incredible, and have worked my way down the list, trying things I've never had before. The paneer Tikka Masala is life changing. They even make the paneer (cheese) in house. Service can sometimes be slow, but rushing through a meal is overrated. Came here with some friends on the way back from a business trip. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, it's kinda hipster with the graffiti on the wall, not your traditional Asian restaurant. There was a very unpleasant foul odor in the restaurant the entire time we ate, it was hard to enjoy your meal. The server was pretty rude and bumped my chair twice without saying excuse me which I thought was rude considering the bumped moved up up on the table. The food was decent, I would likely not return but they had really good reviews and people I was with seemed to enjoy the food. read more

First time trying this restaurant. The menu looked interesting and offered Indian, Thai and Chinese. As I have had excellent Indian and Chinese since I moved to the RTP, I gave the Thai a go. Thai Green chicken was nice. Thick creamy sauce ( more similar to Indian than Thai) and was a mild in spice level. It came with a cup of white rice that resulted in a filling meal even for a big lad like me. Personally I would have preferred a thinner sauce and some more spice, but overall a solid 3.5 stars. My wife had the stir fried rice with chicken and pineapple which had a pleasant smoky aroma. read more

This restaurant is 13 min from my house. I live in Knightdale. This restaurant was amazing! So glad we tried it. There was a few 1 star reviews that almost made me not come. They are unfounded. Maybe they ordered mild spice and that was why it was bland. I recommend the medium which is just the perfect blend of spice. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and curry chicken. Both were on point. We also had the garlic nann which was amazing. 1 review mentioned a smell. I did smell it but it wasn't overwhelming like she said. Maybe she was pregnant lol. The food is worth the very minor smell the restaurant has. Service was good too. If I could give 6 stars I would! This was better than an Indian restaurant I tried in Durham recently and that's saying something. read more

What an awesome find in Downtown Wendell. The food is absolutely delicious. So nice to have a delicious and authentic variety without having to drive into the Raleigh traffic. The drunken noodle, curry chicken, spring rolls, garlic naan bread, and gulab jamun were absolutely delicious. Also, the free crunchy cracker that's served as an appetite opener was this very flagrantly spiced, thin cracker with a delicious dip.
