I recently visited Burlington on Se Everette mall way, I was cologne hunting and was quite surprised by the well maintained, organization of the section. I was able to see the product without having to dig through everything making it a pleasant experience. Overall, I felt like through out the store everything was neat an orderly. I felt at peace to be able to browse at my leisure and shop. Shopping at these types of stores hasn't always been this comfortable, looking at you all Ross's. I had a pleasant experience with the greeter/security at the entrance. I felt welcomed and valued. The colognes and perfume are a great value if you find what you're looking for, comparable to the online discounters. read more

What a waste of time. I went in for a couple of items and didn't want to spend too much time as I had other errands to run. The place was littered with products, which made it difficult to maneuver around the store. Three woman stood near the back door shooting the breeze, as well as a person with a "Loss Prevention" vest on. I had been there about 20 minutes earlier, when one woman at the door stated where I could find what I was looking for, at the opposite end of the store. Unable to find the item, I walked around looking for an employee to help me, but no luck So, I went back yo the back of store and saw a young man exiting the back room. When I asked for help he pointed me towards the same area and said I would have to look through all that is scattered. What? There are now the women I mentioned chattering away. I was pretty upset and asked for the manager, when he seemed to page. The women were now smurking,, including the one with the vest. I don't think she was doing her job as she was facing the door. As I waiting for the manager I said, "Apparently, you are all off the clock and if someone doesn't help me soon, I will be leaving my cart where it is and walking out. One stepped up to help, but could hardly contain herself. I suppose the entire nonsense was a source of amusement for them. I had about $200 in my cart at this point. Burlington has changed a lot since I was last there, which I have to say was 10 or more years ago. They have it set up much like a goodwill store. Prices were ok but selection wasn't great. I would recommend tjmax or Ross instead read more

I really had high hopes for this place. We don't have a Burlington in Hawaii, so my family and I was excited to finally go to one. Now I'm not sure if it's the same across the state or if it's just this particular location, but we were very disappointed from the moment we stepped in. We could tell immediately how very disorganized and messy it was. Mind you the store had literally just opened for the day, so one would think that it would be decently clean. I was there specifically to find luggage and some PJs, but did not find anything that I liked. As we walked throughout the store not one associate greeted us. The overall feeling of this store felt so sad and depressing to say the least. I did however managed to find body soap, so I got that and my son found Pokémon cards. As we were in line, we noticed there were only 2 cashiers. Part of me felt really bad for them as the line kept growing and no one else seemed to be able to come up and help like most other stores we frequent. Would I ever go back? Found some pretty cool dog beds here! There's some great AKC beds, a few memory foam ones, some stylish options and some really cozy soft plush ones. There's really some great options for your picky pups here but you have to really check them for broken zippers and rips. I checked out some kids clothes as well and found a lot of set pieces missing items so again, just double check you have everything looking good before you buy it. read more

I am a human being and holding to use a bathrooms until I go home or another business or gas station around is so wrong. So disappointed in the decline of this store. I've visited a few years ago, when they first opened. Then, it was bright, it was busy, it had lots of merchandise, clerks were efficient and friendly. Now, it feels hollow. Merchandise is scattered throughout, little on the racks matches the groupings, lots of material on the floor or thrown on empty shelves. There was no way to find shoes in the right size because nothing matched the shelving identification. I asked an employee the location of something and he just bobbed his head in the general direction. The back registers were closed, and only 2 people were handling the front registers; and of those 2 people, 1 was so engrossed in whatever she was doing with the material in her hand that she was not checking out patrons. I left and went to Sears, which wasn't much better (review to follow). Evidently Everett Mall is truly struggling to stay afloat. read more

Just left the store and very disappointed as they do not regulate customers wearing masks during this global pandemic. I saw a family (mom and dad with kids) walking around without masks on. I asked the staff who was at the front entrance and pointed at the family to let them know if there's any way to have them speak to the customer but she gave a snarky response and said, "are you a customer?" I told her yes (puzzled as to why that mattered) and she snapped back to say "OK, I'll let someone know." I watched and nothing was done about it. My husband and I left immediately. Still not safe to shop when stores aren't following state laws. Will not return. read more

This store had friendly service and we got what we came here for (rain coat for me) at a great price! The cashier even gave me a coupon for 20% off out of the blue so my purchase was discounted even more. Parking is plentiful here and there's a good selection of items. They are connected to the Everett mall but they have longer hours than the other stores which I appreciated. If you live nearby, check your mail for a $10 off coupon! read more

This store has been run thru so badly. There is almost no merchandise and what is left is hideous. I definitely will stick to Tacoma and Edmonds next time. They have way more merchandise in every dept . The only reason I didn't give it zero stars was the very , very nice employees who are doing their best to make the store much better with their motivated attitudes and consideration towards the pain in the butt customers. read more

Stopped here looking for a specific style of coat after having no luck elsewhere. This place has gone from being a semi-reputable coat store to a cross between a sleezy night club and a flea market. They have "loss prevention" people stationed at each door. They also had security cables running through all 10 coats in the store so you can't even try them on. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they install metal detectors, require ID, and frisk you before you're allowed into their fine establishment. read more

Decided to stroll through the store to see if anything caught my eye. Well the merchandise itself was ok but you have to step over the stuff on the floor in order to get to the shelves. I will admit that the clothing section in the middle of the store was in excellent condition, it was clearly marked with sizing and there wasn't very much at all on the floor. When you head to the household side near the front door (rugs, sheets, wall hangings, curtains ect) where the majority of the staff was is in horrible shape. It was a complete opposite of the other half of the store. Why don't the management or key holder's take pride and ownership in being there and clean things up? read more

They way I'd describe this store is better priced Winners even with the exchange. The store is very clean and well organized. They have a large, large of selection of women's name brand shoes at a fair price. They also have a small section for homewares, foods and health items. The cosmetic selection was a bit sparse but the a place items I did find, where at an excellent price point. I got a StriVectin lip conditioner, normally retails for $19, I got it for $2.99. That was the deal of the day! CONS There were not many staff members on the floor. It was very difficult to find someone to help or ask questions. Other than that, I enjoyed the shop very much. It will continue to be one of the stops I make while in Bellingham. read more

At this location employees were not wearing masks, nor were they wiping down carts. Waiting in line a maskless woman was standing 2 feet behind me. I told her she needed to wear a mask or back away from me. She called me an asshole so I told her to FU. The staff verbally attacked me for using the language I used, never mind the woman who called me a name. It is evident that this company and its employees don't care about their patron's health. Once again this maskless woman, as with other people who refuse to wear masks, claimed breathing issues. When you bring up the fact that a face shield can be worn without breathing issues, it shuts them up. This world is full of Karens. I was banned from this location. It doesn't matter, I already decided to not shop at this location or any other Burlington. read more

Never had an issue with this store. At one point I was 330 pounds and this was the basically one of the only store that carried my size had them for decent price and also had it in the style that I was looking for. Now I'm 200 pounds and down 10 pants sized and Burlington is still my go to store value and style without breaking the bank. read more

this is a TERRIBLE place to buy from and to work for. I've had my own personal experiences here and i know many other experiences of other people as well. The management is the most unprofessional, disrespectful management i have ever encountered. They are racist, homophobic, and discriminate against religion. They do not let their workers know when they're working until the day of and then punishes them for not coming in when they didn't even know until that morning; when they're sleeping. I had an interview there and the day i got there, an employee told me that the manager told her that i wasn't able to be interviewed that day and to leave my number and days available for the interview. the manager herself did not come talk to me, she told her employee through the walkie to tell me the information instead of speaking to me herself. i took this day off from my other job, i took a 2 hour bus ride, and i prepared all day for that interview. She then proceeded to not even call again. When i emailed the company about it, they apologized and asked when a better time for my interview would be. Unbelievable. They need new management IMMEDIATELY. I know of multiple employees there who plan on taking legal action against the discrimination and utter unprofessional treatment happening at this place of employment. One of the managers, Brandie is the main one that causes the issues and is disrespectful. She doesn't care about religious days that her workers aren't allowed to work on, she doesn't care if she tells you that day that you need to come in and you can't (she gets angry about it), she doesn't take her employees needs into consideration and she overall should not be in a management position. She was also the manager who wouldn't even come tell me herself that i wasn't going to be interviewed that day. I have many burlington employees applying to work at my job that's next to burlington and they all tell me and my managers about the terrible working conditions and management over at Burlington. The hours and pay may be good but your mental and emotional health will be in terrible condition if you work here. read more

Went in today to purchase a pair of gloves. Original price was marked at $80 and there was a Ross tag for $29. When the cashier rang them up, the price came up as $39. I asked them to speak to a manager as obviously I expected the $29 price to be honored but the manager said no! Needless to say, I will go to Ross and write to their corporate office. read more

This is a terrible store! I have two friends who have lost job's there,one (for example ) was fired because the manager was not there to let her in to clock in. Then they strung her along for three weeks off the schedule before actually informing her of the discharge. Classy company. read more

Love this store but I have to give it 1 star simply for its staff and management. I've been shopping for Burlington for years and was pretty excited when I found out everett was getting one. The old opening manager Lyle was AMAZING!! Anytime I had a problem he was beyond friendly and was always happy to help! The new manger Chad is so beyond rude!! Anytime I have a return or an issue and he has to be called over I feel like I am causing him a problem! Like really!! Don't get my started on their manager Barbra....she never has any idea what she is talking about when it comes to their policy's and just looks at you like a deer in headlights and just keeps saying there is nothing I can do for you....they have a new quite larger manager there now and I don't even know how she got a job!! The couple times I have been in and she's been working she never greats me and stands around the registers gossiping with some of the other staff....pretty professional! There's maybe only about 5 associates I can say deserve their job. Rest of the staff should be fired!! Their on location security is a joke I've been there first hand witnessing people putting things in their bags. All she does is fallow them around. I've even witnessed people walk out of the store with merchandise with no consequences for it! Let's say it's pretty easy to steal from this store which is a shame. Compared to the shoreline locations this place beyond meets my expectations on cleanliness!! Over all the product is good even though lately there hasn't been much. In general, I love Burlington Coat factory, but I don't like this one specifically. I couldn't find things very easily because the signage isn't that great, and it is so BRIGHT in the store. I mean, I like good lighting as much as the next patron, but the floors are white and glossy and there's tons of fluorescent lights - it just kind of hurts my eyes after walking in from the wonderful mall lighting. read more

Took a small fitting coat back to get an exchange and received great service from everybody from the door in to the door out I was helped by or asked if I needed help by 4 employees and the manager, I finally found a great coat that fits perfect and that I love, Its black with a removable hood , its a Buffalo by David Bitton, it has a 19 73 in the trade mark which is my birth year, I thought that was kool, I admit It took a long time to find the coat , the selection seemed a bit bare, it was literally the only coat there I liked and I nearly left without seeing it, folks are expecting to see many more coats due to the name, but really It seems like there is never enough coats, I had almost given up when I took a closer look at the one I ended up getting, It really is a great coat, lol I'm a geek for writing this review because it was just a coat right? lol but I haven't bought myself a new coat since the 80s , Ive gotten coats given to me or bought second hand, so it was kinda special, and I did notice the amazing attitude by the staff and manager even though our 2 year old was screaming and tantrum-ing and had to be brought out to the car by mom while I proceeded without them somewhat stressed by it, by the time I left I was feeling great again because I got the best coat ever and the best service ever and the baby was not crying any more once I returned to the car, : ) thx guys !! : ) read more
