Back again for their vascular foundation and venous insuff. 5 day course. This time the course was…read moreheld in their main location in Bothell. The class room was big with duplex scanning machines set up. The lectures are indepth with power point presentation and those slides printed in a book for each student. The presenters are knowledgeable and have answered questions AND helped with the hands on scanning. The class is full day. The first part of the day(4hrs) is lecture. Then a CATERED LUNCH OF YOU CHOICE. The rest of the afternoon is for hands on scanning. PVI has live models that are normal and have pathology. They are usually clients and pleasant to work with. We had various instructors on different subjects and the Q&A got answered properly. Case studies were shown and as I mentioned each day, 4 hrs of hands on scanning with patients with and without disease. I know that PVI would put a great course together. My first experience with the TCD/TCI course showed me that PVI really put lecture and hands on training is worth the price. Materials are always provided and the instructors are more than willing to give additional information via email. This time around, I got to work with Ridge and Mimi again. But also got to learn from Anne, Lisa and Josh.. all great instructors. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As for Healthcare services. Pacific Vascular is a contractor to many hospitals in King County. All technologists are well trained as PVI is also a Vascular training center for people that meet their qualifications.

It was while ago, but I walked into this clinic defeated to get help for a debilitating and deadly…read moredisease that is unfortunately extremely resistant to treatment and the medical community is sadly ill equipped to both diagnose and treat. My expectations were low based on past experience and hearing story after story after story of poor treatment from medical professionals regarding this disease, but I was desperate and getting so sick. I saw a Bridget Noorishad who was a god send in my life at that moment. Due to lack of funding for date, most doctors are misinformed and cling to false beliefs about the disease to misdiagnose patients. It's a problem that leads to death unfortunately. Bridget wasn't familiar with this issue (most aren't) and held some common misbeliefs as do almost all medial professionals with the exception of ER doctors for some reason they seem to know it more. But what was amazing about Bridget is that she listened to what I had to say and I could tell she genuinely cared (such a relief and so refreshing given my expectations and experience dealing with this). She was skeptical at first as she should be, but she did the right thing and I don't think she knows how grateful I was! She said okay can you give me a minute and she left the room for awhile to go investigate and get to the truth. She humbled herself and did what all doctors should do in this situation. After all, they can't know everything. She took the time and care to figure it out and returned with honestly the best possible treatment plan she could have. After being misdiagnosed for well over a year thanks to false outdated info and doctors who cling to it, this was EXACTLY what I needed in that moment. I couldn't be happier with the care I received here and while treatment was less than effecthve that was not her fault. It was the right treatment just too late and I went too long with insufficient treatment. It's complicated but I just want to say I 100% recommend this walk in. The care FAR exceeded all others I've visited in the area. Thank you for taking me seriously....all too often that's not the case with this issue and you have NO IDEA just how much I needed that! Edit Added:...Oh and I should add that she was even willing to go above and beyond and offered to stay late so my boyfriend could stop by on his way home and talk to her. She isn't a family therapist (or at least not to my knowledge) and definitely did not have to do that, but thank god there are actually good people on the world who understand the importance of their profession and take it so seriously! I was a bit wary about being scheduled an ultrasound here with the wide spectrum of Yelp posts,…read moreboth good and very bad. However, speaking from my personal experience, this went well. From the phone scheduling after my physician's referral (9/19/24), to check-in at reception and pleasant waiting room with classical music (9/26/24). The ultrasound tech who showed me the dressing rooms, the secure lockers to stow clothing & valuables, and who performed the ultrasound was very nice, professional and thorough. Added plusses were warmed exam smock, clean washcloths/linen, and ultrasound gel. I was expecting discomfort, but she was able to get the images needed without pain. She had them reviewed by another physician onsite. This resulted in additional images, further examination, and then at the end was provided feedback about the results. The final report will be sent to my physician. She also provided me with a personal referral to another specialist who could help alleviate my current situation. Pro tips: *schedule as early in the morning as possible to give time with the commute and have parking availability. *do not use any lotion, powder, deodorant, or excessive fragrance prior to the scheduled exam. *both me and the ultrasound tech both wore masks, especially with cold, flu, Covid season. I will have to get an additional MRI despite today's ultrasound and speaking from my own specific outcome. Now armed with two doctor referrals, maybe my insurance (that I pay out of pocket for) will actual listen to both medical professionals versus flat out denying the diagnostic requests. Always be your own strong advocate! Medical exams and tests are important. As a Yelp Elite reviewer and two time cancer warrior, take this seriously.

Front desk staff is efficient and patient; clinical staff is knowledgeable and kind. On-line…read morecheck-in is easy, and the facility is clean and easily accessible although parking can be tight. Give yourself a few extra minutes in case you need to park in the garage and walk a little bit (it's not far). It doesn't take a year to get an appointment; they were able to schedule me about 5 weeks out, which is very good these days. Overall, I'm very happy with this facility. They are very thorough and explain things well.
