BBQ was good and tender. The salads were fresh. The sauces were outstanding. Everything made in-house. We will be back.

The reason I didn't write a review after the first visit was because I needed to give them a second chance. The first visit was not good. All I will say about it is thank goodness they removed the lobster bisque from the menu. And word of advice about most restaurants, you don't want to be one of the last tables before closing. No one wants to be there! Ok, back to January 2026! We had 8:15 reservations. We stopped by to see if we could be seated earlier and they said they had nothing available. Ummmmm, there was like 20-30 tables open! They just didn't have the servers. So we waited and got Kyle, who again was awesome. Because of something wrong with my throat, I could only order soft food. So I ordered the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli and Au Gratin potatoes. The ravioli was a table win for all of us! Best bite of the night. The potatoes were not a winner. Au gratin potatoes are supposed to be in a flavorful cheesy cream sauce. We got a bowl of diced white potatoes with melted cheese on top. No seasoning. No sauce. I was looking for soft food, not flavorless! It was not a good look for a steak house. Speaking of steak, JD did enjoy his steak both visits, so they've got that very important part going for them. The restaurant is huge. I saw a sign out front that its capacity is 600+. But with their staffing issues, at least they realize not to seat a full restaurant. They even had signs up that To-Go orders were not allowed the Friday night we were there. Would I eat here again, yes. Is it a must have when at the casino? Not for me.

The place itself had more of a vibe of a hotel lobby than that of a restaurant....a bit too spread out as well? Also, it was too quiet for such a spacious layout. Definitely needed to crank up the music. That can be said of this entire hotel-casino. Possibly catering to senior's finicky sensibilities, but overhead music is very subdued throughout the hotel-casino...and for me personally, it made the place feel a lot less festive. We also had this wonky table, but our waitress tried her best to fix it. In any case, we ordered the Lobster Lollipop for appetizer, a Caesar Salad, and a BBQ Rack with sides...all to share. Well, I can't complain...all the foods were delish. The flavors were rich and buttery. I would have liked to try one of their entrees, but I just wasn't hungry, so we just ordered 1 entree, 1 salad and 1 app to share. It turned out to be good call...as all the dishes had generous portions. Overall, we liked the restaurant. Frankly, the vibe just wasn't that great. Again, the place felt like a hotel lobby. Still, the food and the service was good, and think we'd both be willing to revisit in the future.

Whether it's coffee, a pastry, some bottled drinks, or food, everything here is good quality. Of course, we were paying casino prices, but that is expected. No complaints about the food or drinks. The only suggestion would be to have assistance for people who cannot use the kiosks to order and hold up the lines.

What kind of food court opens most of the restaurants at 4:00 p.m. like this place? Crazy. We decided to keep wandering around the casino and hotel complex and see what else was available but before we left we stopped at the pub in the food court and ordered a couple of drinks. We had one gin and tonic and one old fashioned for a total of $43 not including the tip. On Saturday for dinner we returned and that was a serious mistake. The crowds were insane. Several people mentioned that they had never seen it this crowded but it was because of Larry the Cable Guy being there that evening for a performance. All ordering is done on a set of self-service kiosks that are in the middle of the food court. That was confusing because everyone had to learn from other people that this is the way you order food. It was especially difficult for some of the more senior citizens and whoever thought about putting this in a casino really needs to be replaced. So after you order at the kiosk you then have to listen for your name to be called at the places you ordered. I ordered from the sushi place and from the burger place so I had to stand between them and wait for my name to be called at one and then the other. It's definitely not user friendly if you're ordering multiple meals from multiple stations. The small few pieces of coconut shrimp with fried rice cost $27. It was worth about 7. My hot dog was $13.95 plus a dollar to upgrade to sweet potato fries. It was a regular hot dog. Each of our small fountain drinks was $3. The drink dispensers were only dispensing foam. Take a look at my photo to see. Grand total of $49. The Chinese dish was ready in 10 minutes but the hot dog took 25 minutes. We would not return here unless everything was open and there were no crowds. Git 'er done!

We ordered the Chicken Katsu and the Bankai Chicken Katsu. Both dishes were similar, with one served with macaroni salad, rice, and crispy chicken, while the other came with rice, furikake, chicken, and a fresh cabbage salad. The menu is simple, but every bite was packed with flavor. The service was outstanding. The young man working the food truck provided service that honestly rivaled what you'd expect at a full-service restaurant. He was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The setting is another bonus. The food truck is tucked behind a brewery, making it the perfect place to grab a drink, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal in a quiet, laid-back atmosphere. Out of all the places we tried during our trip, this was some of the simplest food--but also some of the most flavorful. It proves that you don't need a huge menu to make memorable food. We 100% recommend Rice Wagon if you're in Bryson City. Great service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere!

We were looking for a place that was open and simple and we could eat outside. We had the Eddy Burger and it was fantastic and the Hawaiian pork. Both items came with a Mac salad that was very tasty. The burger was cooked perfectly and was substantial size probably 7 or 8 ounces. This isn't a fine dining restaurant. It's a counter spot where you walk up place your order and they'll buzz you when your food is ready. Don't expect phenomenal service, but expect phenomenal food. Definitely worth the price and absolutely delicious.
